Kathleen is the best for eyelashes!!! She is a true professional in eyelashes and skin care. I use her for both. If your looking for someone who know what there doing and does it right call her today!!!

Kathleen has been doing my lashes for 4 months now and every month I am so happy with the results. She puts them on in such a way that they stay for at least 3 weeks! She is affordable, fast and most importantly very diligent and detailed. Im very grateful for her steady hand! Thank you Kathleen!

Really nice lady and seems like she knows what she’s talking about but I was very unimpressed with her eyelash extensions. I really tried to give her a chance and went multiple times but they fell out really fast (needed to go in at least once a week) and the they poked my actual eye a lot. Very uncomfortable. I’ve have eyelash extensions for years and was trying to find a new stylist in SCV.

I have been going to Kathleen at Dermal Dynamics for four months now for Microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and facials. I will tell you my skin has never looked better. She is knowledgable on what is best for my skin and my skin has responded to everything so well. Dermal Dynamics has so many service available and they do not charge an arm and a leg like some of those very high salon med spas. I am sold!

I called left a message for more information regarding time I left my name on 661) 294‑0433 along with what I needed from work number so later that day I received two calls with no voicemail so I called the number back the lady who answer was very rude the call started as i just rcvd a call her response was you called me I can imagine her in person so I do not recommend this place to anyone so today received another call I was like really why are you calling me so be aware need customer service

Kathleen you need to stop harassing me and stop writing false and fake comments on Unilocal.I will not remove my review. I have every right to put down my honest review and that’s what I did.

I know its been a while but I would be crazy to let you near my eyes again.
Not only were the lash results below average… and forget the fact that you burned my brow bones and ripped my skin off, the worse part was your lack of professionalism and general consideration.
I would’ve bought the sincerity in your apology had it been given the same day I told you my eyebrows were burning and stinging but instead it came only after i posted my review.
I have warned family, friends and colleagues about my experience. I would hate for anyone else to suffer a similar experience.

I am now super wary of this place. In the past few months, the owner, Kathleen, has messaged me several times asking me to take down my review of Amie. She stated that Amie no longer works for Dermal Dynamics and that her services were not reflective of Dermal Dynamics.
I have told Kathleen that I would not take my review down, as I doubt that she asked the people that left positive reviews for Amie to take their review down, and this is all what makes up Unilocal ratings. I also asked her to stop messaging me. She sent me another message today and I have now blocked her.
While Kathleen has been quite persistent in stating that Amie’s work was not reflective of the work that was done at Dermal Dynamics, I am having trouble believing that considering it took her over a year to contact me. Her only concern was to get an all positive Unilocal review and not to actually address the issue that is there. So, I am taking the positive ratings here with a grain of salt, because Kathleen appears to be trying to manipulate the system.

My sister started getting her lashes with Kathleen months ago and we have been hooked since. Not only do they look amazing but the experience is FIVE star. Kathleen is great about personalizing the lashes to fit the «look» I’m going for and the setting is spa-​like.

Kathleen did permanent makeup on my eye brows, which I love! She did a fabulous job on them and I would highly recommend her.

Ive always wanted Eyelash Extensions and we always scared of a hack job or wasting my money on something for my self. However Yesterday i finally did something for myself and got my Eyelashes done with Kathleen, and they look amazing to say the least. Very Natural and noticable, especially since i have very little lashes. I wanted something everyday for my busy working mommy schedule and got just that. No fake lashes or mascara needed and my eyes look amazing. It was only $ 120.00 which is half the cost i was expecting and they are supposed to last at least 3 weeks. Im Very pleased to say the least and will be back again for a touch up next week! Check out the attached Photo :)

I initially had my lash extensions done at a place in our local shopping mall. Total nightmare; lumps of glue, not long enough to see, horrible condition to lie in for two hours and talk about uncomfortable.
I called Kathleen on a referral by a friend and she squeezed me in to take off my $ 100 of worthless, messy lashes. A few days later, after my eyes rested, I went back and had her do my extensions. Night and Day!!! They look amazing, the process was much less uncomfortable and I just couldn’t be happier.
I’ve heard of several other places that do this for less in the SCV but having already paid less and having such a rotten experience I think you get what you pay for. Her hours are great because she’s open in the evenings when I get off of work. Her work is meticulous. My lashes are never clumped; they look so natural.
If you want this done right, and it is your eyes and chemicals we’re talking about here, I highly recommend Kathleen of Dermal Dynamics.

I can’t say anything about the business as a whole, but I am writing about my experience with one massage therapist, Caitlin. I just wanted to let others know. Especially the ones who bought Groupons to get massages. This is not how you run a «business.» I am usually wary about buying these deals and such because it is a clear indicator most often than not that they need to use Groupons to get business, but I am also open to trying out local places and giving them my business.
I got a Groupon for a massage and scheduled an appointment. Took awhile to get one, but I finally set a date. She cancelled the morning of because she was sick. Which is totally understandable. People get sick.
So I rescheduled. I showed up and waited in the waiting room for a half hour. No one. No receptionist. Not a soul. So I called and left messages via text and voicemail. No answer until later. She got the time wrong.
So I rescheduled. I show up and she was with another client. She double booked. I left laughing.
Now, I’m a pretty easy going person, but at this point, I got a babysitter for a total of 3 TIMES and wasted gas, driving back and forth. I totally felt like an idiot telling my sitter why I was back so soon AGAIN. UGH. NO THANKS.

I have to admit, i was a bit nervous to come here but I love this place! It’s a little hard to find but worth looking for. My massage therapist Caitlin has amazing skills, she made sure that during the massage, I was comfortable and she always made sure her pressure points were not hurting me. Corinne was fantastic, very friendly, funny and social. I LOVE the work that these ladies provided for me. Sucks to see all these negative reviews but my experience was fabulous. I’ll defiantly be returning & recommending my family and friends!

Bought a spreebird deal with Amie and was thriller with the service. I am pregnant, and Amie took special care with me to ensure I was comfortable. She provided personalized service geared toward my skin type. I look forward to my next appointment!

Hi I’m Amber 25 and I have been a client of Corinne for over 3 years now. I just wanted to take a moment to give her some very well deserved recognition and hopefully in courage other girls to try her services as well. Corinne is extremely kind and welcoming to all of her clients and she knows what she’s DOING! First and foremost She is a perfectionist; which is a good thing to be in her profession. She really takes her time and makes the process as pain free as possible. She also gets very high praise from my boyfriend after every visit! I will continue to use her services until she retires :) 5 Stars!!!

My first lash extension experience was at a very expensive salon in Burbank a few years ago. They drove me crazy and after two weeks started taking them off (along with my real lashes) myself and swore to never do them again.
A month ago I started performing in a show and had to purchase false lashes. Well that was a pain, literally pulling some of my own lashes out after each performance not to mention the discomfort and constant worry that they are on evenly or fall off. So I decided to give lash extensions one more try.
I had called several salons with RIDICULOUS prices (STARTING full sets @ $ 200+) and found Kathleen.
Being Asian I dont have long or full lashes. Even on days I would THINK of wearing mascara Id have to use a lash curler & slowly and gradually add layers of mascara. Kathleen CHANGED all that.
The application process to a little over an hr but thats because of my tiny lashes. She was very professional and extremely meticulous in her application. Admittedly the ONLY unpleasant part was the removal of the under-​eye protectors she uses to keep the lashes from sticking to your skin, but it wasnt horrific. I have to remove mic tape after EVERY performance and it pulls off hair! The stickies Kathleen used were a little inconvenience I didnt mind at all.
The results have changed my life. I no longer wear ANY type of eye make-​up (except during performances or Ill use some liner on special occasions). Ive received and CONTINUE to receive wonderful compliments on my eyes and «great mascara». My little secret is Kathleen.
BTW — when scanning a credit card she asks if you’d like to add a tip on the card before she adds the total charges. She’s NEVER asked me for a tip.
I would rather spend my money on my lashes than nail fills ANY day and will CONTINUE to see her as I am so happy with her services and results!

I got lash extensions from Kathleen for my wedding (photo uploaded).
She was very accommodating when it came to scheduling appointments, and got me in for my allergy test very quickly. We scheduled the actual application for 3 days before my wedding, and she offered to fix if there were any huge problems (like 2 lashes falling out the day before the wedding, etc)) but luckily nothing was necessary.
When I went in for the application, she was very patient with me. I guess I flinched ALOT, more so then any of her other clients, but she kept trucking on, and made sure that they looked beautiful. She turned on music, and worked away. It felt as though she were applying mascara over and over again — and eventually we were finished. She also did a brow wax and the whole process, (with flinching!) took 1 hour and 15 minutes. She said usually it takes about 15 minutes less, but she wanted to be sure that mine were perfect because of the big day!
Here I am three weeks later, and they are still in tact, (Ive lost 3 or 4 I think) I can run out the door without any mascara, and my lashes still command attention. LOVE IT! She did a great job, and whenever I need lash extensions again, I will for sure go to Kathleen!

Wow, I am so shocked and dismayed by the review that was just left here. Such a scathing review — makes me wonder. First of all, very inappropriate for this user to list the full name of the aesthetician — that screams of bad etiquette and perhaps a personal vendetta? I’m just saying…
I am not a friend or family member of this salon, but I am a faithful client — and have been getting my lashes beautified here for over 2 years! Kathleen has done my lashes over 50 times in the past couple of years — and I have NEVER EVER had a bad experience. Not even remotely… In total I have been enjoying eyelash extensions for over 6 years, I have been to super pricey salons, and I have been to dumpy salons, I have a lot of experiences with which to judge Kathleen’s work — and she does excellent work. She is meticulous in her lash application and separation, no one does it like her with the natural babydoll-​like lash progression… that’s why this other review truly concerns me.
As to the comfort factor, just like anything else with «beauty» there can be a few unpleasant moments of discomfort. It happens. But, I find it INCREDIBLY hard to believe that Kathleen would «disregard» anyone’s discomfort. She is nothing but professional and courteous. She turns on her bed warmer, offers a leg support pillow, constantly asks if you are doing OK — so, unless she was invaded by aliens that day — I really don’t get it.
Anyhow, I just needed to offer a different P.O.V. on Dermal Dynamics — because I have been a very happy, yet discerning, client for some time now.

I have removed my review because somehow everyone is upset that I expressed my «personal opinion» on this place. Mostly because I did not have a positive one. It has been over a year, but I am reminded via messages about my «negative» but completely HONEST review. I will just not say anything, and still rate it one star (just like a have for the past year) and mark this place as a DNR. Just to remind you all, this is America, don’t forget «Freedom of Speech,» and um… last I checked, we are on « Unilocal» where we are supposed to give our opinions…
