G Marshall Hann

Mr Hann represented us on a Non-​Disclosure, Fraud, and Breach of Contract case with a home purchase in Santa Clarita, CA. We paid a $ 12,000.00 retainer to get the case started as soon as possible. This case went on for over four years racking up $ 75,000.00 in attorney and court costs.
To make a very long story short we lost the Non-​Disclosure and Fraud case, but Mr Hann charged us to file the paperwork for Breach of Contract and then simply FORGOT to file it with the court. When it was brought to the courts attention the opposing attorney declined to allow it after the proceeding had already taken place.
This debacle went on and on, and of course hindsight is always 20 – 20 but the bottom line I have since learned from other attorneys is that the case should have cost no more then $ 30,000.00 and taken less then one year. Instead we were a source of income for Mr Hann for over four years.
I truly do not believe Mr Hann cared whether we won or lost this case as long as we had the money to keep paying him on a monthly basis. Mr Hann is a very smooth talking attorney and although he did not make any promises he assured us the case was going along according to plan. I would not rehire Mr Hann for any case what so ever.

I went in for a consultation at the end of last year and that cost me $ 50.00 for around thirty minutes.
Marshall Hann was pleasant and professional. He was a smooth talker and definitely knew what he was talking about and was very knowledgeable.
Fee structure was most confusing and I really did not comprehend how the costs would be allocated as he definitely did not need $ 5,000 retainer for the work I requested to be done. The one problem I was having was that he was making out like we were sending a few astronauts into orbit. I came out more confused than I went in.
Anyways, did some more research and I Unilocaled around. I go the job done and all — complete — everything — no clutter — no babble talk — with another Lawyer in Sherman Oaks for $ 1500.00 and there was no retainer talk.
