I have a 13 month old who fell at least 3& ½ feet onto his head/back while under direct supervision of an employee. The employee(I don’t know her name, she was new) initiated the activity and then just walked away! The lack of concern immediately after the incident from the employee who responded to my shriek of horror and my infant’s scream was unbelievable. Her response to him as he lay on his back crying was, «You’re ok, get up.» Kendal the manager informed me an incident report wasn’t necessary since the padded floors were pediatrician developed. She said an incident report isn’t filled out for a fall unless it’s from a height of more than 6 feet! When I continued to express my concern that he fell onto his head from this height, she politely said she would talk to the employee(who was new). When I told her I would be taking him in to his doctor to be evaluated for injury, she didn’t even offer to cover the expense. She simply asked me to follow up with her after his doctor appointment(which I am paying for). The incident occurred on 8÷11÷2015 at 4:50 pm in the Learn and Play infant class.

IT is difficult to make make up classes because you have to continue your membership in order to make up a class. For example, we missed two classes the second half of our month and I did not want to renew membership but I had to pay for the next month in order to make up classes during that month since we were unable to make up classes during the month we missed classes. I ended up placing the membership on hold till after the holidays and didn’t realize they began charging my credit card 3 months later. This continued for 5 months without me being notified/emailed/called/written. Teachers don’t check in to see whether you know they started charging your card again. Nearly half a year went by before I realized our credit card was charged each month for 5 months, as I was pregnant and then had a newborn so life was crazy. Gymboree, thus far, refuses to refund me. Not happy that they not once attempted communication to inquire as to why my son hadn’t been in for months and to check to see if I was even aware of being charged. I have emailed the owner and store manager several times with no response.

We did the art class this year with my 2 year old, and really liked it. The teachers are very energetic and entertaining, and take teaching and early childhood education seriously. They also really get to know each of the kids individually. They really helped my child get familiar with who a teacher is, how you sit in your chair, and how to work on art projects. It was great practice to prepare him for preschool.

My wife and I have been coming here for almost 3 years now and what else can we say except… The girls here are amazing. They are patient with the kids and very encouraging. They have fun events like«Date Night» where they do group babysitting so parents can get out for a night as well as other fun things to go along with all the holidays throughout the year. Ms. Kendal, Ms. Ashley, and Ms. Amanda are the best.

My 2 year old daughter loves it but I agree with other reviewers that the classes are the same thing every time so the kids get bored and you’ll soon be feeling ripped off paying $ 75 a month. Make-up classes are an issue as well. It’s nice that they offer them but in my case the only option is weekday late morning which is impossible for a working parent. This past Saturday we showed up and they said there was no class since only 2 kids showed up but we could stay and play on our own — no discount was offered. I’m cancelling my membership and honestly should have after a month or 2 and used that money toward zoo trips and other local activities but I let it linger. They really need to consider abandoning their monthly membership fee policy and allow you to purchase individual classes or blocks of classes you can use anytime. My hunch is this location will not be in business much longer.

This is by far the best Gymboree I have ever been to. All the teachers here are amazing and really nice. They want what is best for your child and always do so with a smile. Their number one classes are the play classes which are age appropriate and include playing in the play gym. Every two weeks are new themes and ways to play and learn. As well as play classes they also have music and art classes. All these classes are amazing and fun. I recommend bringing your child here from the ages of birth to 3, as they will not only work on their fine motor skills, but also on their social skills. Give it a try, the first class is always free.

My son is four years old and has been attending Gymboree since he was 6 weeks old. He is currently in the preschool program and I love it. They offer afternoon classes, great rates, and small class sizes so he isnt sick constantly like he was at other preschools where parents have to work so they drop their sick kids at school. The teachers here are also amazing.

Five stars for the nice lady who was very thorough in updating us on all the specials and offers they have. She was a real pro and very kind. Means a lot when you have tired and cranky kids wanting to go home.

I started bringing my baby to the Level 1 class when he was 6 weeks old. It was less for him and, truthfully, more for me to get out of the house when life with a newborn was driving me slowly mad. He was too small to really enjoy doing much, but within two weeks I noticed him really loving looking at the other babies. Over the next few months he has grown so much and now really has fun at class. Miss Kendyl is a fabulous teacher and really seems to love the kids and is invested in their progression. Personally, I think it’s a great way for new parents to learn games to play with their very young babies that help them achieve and progress toward developmental milestones. My only gripe is that they don’t do a very good job of tracking when you miss a class. After you miss four classes and you haven’t taken the make-ups owed to you, they should comp you a month. They claim to have great make-up policies, but with only one other class option for make-ups, it’s often impossible to take a make-up class.

My son absolutely loves it here. We take him to the music class on Saturday mornings. The teacher does a great job of getting all the kids involved and he really loves it. He also loves coming to the open gym to run around and play with everything. The nice thing is they change the gym around every week so it’s a different configuration every time we come. I’m not so sure why all the reviews talk about their kids needs. Does everyone really expect everywhere they go to accommodate their special little snow flake. Give me a break. The staff is always friendly and so are the people who come here.

My 2 year-old daughter and I have been going to Gymboree for over a year. This place is fantastic! The teachers are great! Somehow they remember every child’s name, which is a miracle in my book. The classes are fun and my daughter can’t get enough. She sings songs that she learned at Gymboree when she’s at home. I do recommend trying out more than one class. Some teachers are skilled pros and others are learning. I’m thankful to have found such a good environment for my daughter to learn in.

Program is great for kids, but staff are so unprofessional and not very sensitive to parents needs. I think I am going to MyGym instead.

My 13 month-old son gets very excited as soon as he sees the door to Gymboree. They have a great developmentally appropriate program and the gym is pretty clean. Definitely try out a class or two before committing to a certain day and time because some of the teachers are much better than others. I will start my complaint by saying that I’m not usually a sensitive person. I just canceled our membership because the staff is either ignorant or insensitive about the diversity in our area. My family does not celebrate Christmas(although we realize most people do), and it was difficult for me every week to see the Christmas decorations, be pushed to sign up for the«Christmas party» for tots, be encouraged to participate in the Gymboree pics with Santa, and be asked in front of the class about the«Christmas traditions» we’d be starting in our home. Seeing even one Hanukkah or Kwanzaa decoration, hearing about a «holiday party,» or asked about the«holiday traditions» we’d start in our home would have made me feel much more comfortable bringing my son to gym class. Although pricey, overall Gymboree is a fun experience for little ones and their parents. Since they are serving the diverse Santa Clarita community, I think it is only right that they try and make all their members feel welcome.

We have been going to Gymboree for over 3 years. We love it and most importantly our kids love it. We feel being part of the Gymboree family has truly enriched our lives. The staff is absolutely AMAZING! The classes are fantastic. We take part in the play, music and art classes and couldn’t be happier. Definitely worth the money!!!
