I came here at the recommendation of my regular mechanic for a smog check and I can see why my mechanic recommends him. I had an issue with another smog check technician located in the same complex. Given my bad experience with the other place i came here. This experience made it worth while. The owner was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. They know cars and are customer service oriented. I am very impressed and will return for sure. Keep up the great work

Ara and Raffi are terrific. They went way beyond what anyone else would have done for us. We were traveling from the S. F. Bay Area to Orange County. At the base of the Grapevine, in 96 degree temperature, on a Friday, our Air Conditioning went out. I immediately checked Unilocal and found these guys. We talked, and at 3:15 pm my husband and I pulled into their shop. They were closing at 5:00 pm. They checked our AC system, and it was fried. The AC clutch was blown out. There was no way we could leave our car and return on Monday to get a new compressor as we were on the way to Newport Coast. They called around, found the part in Hollywood, went and got it and stayed till 9:00 pm replacing our fried one. They even drove us to a nearby Target where we could wait in an air conditioned place! Their charge for all of this was perfectly fair. We got charged as if we’d come in by appointment. If we lived anywhere near R&R Auto Clinic, we’d have them take care of all our car needs.

this shop i recommend to any one who needs work done on they’re vehicle, they are very professional and courteous, they diagnosed my wife’s car for the ac and replaced the part for a fair price, we even went back to get a car smog after a horrible experience at another shop and they even matched the price which was cheaper, these guys are awesome, very courteous and have a great sense of humor, what great guys and a great shop, keep it up R and R, thank you so much for your honesty and the great service.

I called R & R based on just a few reviews here on Unilocal,and I’m glad I did. The owner was polite, courteous, friendly, and filled me with confidence that my car would be taken care of. It’s going to my niece, so I wanted to be sure it was safe for her. The «diagnostic» charge here is WAY less than a dealer, and he performed the work required in a short amount of time, and therefore charged me no more than the diagnostic fee of $ 85. It was a real bargain. You often feel like you have been screwed when you leave a mechanic. But the guys at R & R are fair and professional.

I took my 1999 Honda Accord in for a smog certification. R&R is fast, competent, and very customer focused. I mentioned an issue with the AC system, and was told it would only take a few minutes to diagnose. After checking the integrity of the system and adding freon, the AC is performing the way it did when the car was new. Raffi is extremely competent, cares abut the customer, and has fair prices. If you are looking for a good independent mechanic, definitely stop by R&R.

Worse mechanic experience ever. Rafi and Rafi claim to have over 20 years of experience however made every mistake possible.
After rebuilding our engine the car started running bad after two weeks. We took it in and Rafi said we needed a major tunes up. Rafi said he put all my old parts, (park plugs, distributor, wires, fuel filter, etc) on the newer engine.
Needless to say I will never go back to R & R. They are not mechanics.

Service was very friendly and thorough… Prices were even reasonable. I brought my car in mentioned a problem I had been having with my car, asking if they could take a look at it. Well, they found the problem, took me out to the garage, and showed me exactly what was going on. And since my car needed to stay at the shop they even helped me locate a great priced car rental where they picked me up directly from the shop and I was on my way. highly recommended
