Damn you, Teavana! You’re like the Costco of beverage stores! I can’t walk in without walking out at least $ 100 poorer, and that includes when I walk in for a passionberry and orange iced tea. I love the scents in your store. I love the colors and the great mugs and cups and ceramics and teapots. I love your wonderful staff. Sigh. I’m going to have to get a job with you just to pay for my white tea leaf addiction.

I would NOT recommend purchasing a cast iron teapot as they RUST! These teapots are expensive and mine rusted where there was no enamel. The store manager told me to bring it back and that she would exchange it! I drove 30 minutes one way and THEN she told she couldn’t do anything because she didn’t have the sku number for the pot! I left the teapot in the store to throw away! Buyer Beware, when purchasing any product at Teavana as they do not stand behind their products. I will no longer purchase anything at this store.

I’m an out of towner, but I still enjoy walking into Teavanas anywhere I go. I met the sweetest employee here! We got to know each other + even exchanged contact information! The employees there are super nice + helpful. I feel like most Teavanas try to sell without getting to know the customer. But here, they’re different. I also usually get annoyed with the employee standing next to the sample machines bc I feel like they’re hovering over you. Not at this one. They’re great + personable!

Since this store has opened my husband and I(and now my 2 yr old daughter!) drink the amazing blends of tea they create here. The staff are very nice and personable, we’ve come to being good acquaintances. Whenever my family walks into the store they remember us and they are very nice towards my toddler, which is rare these days in stores like this. We have tried many blends and all of them are unique and have a bold and surprising flavor. We will continue to be loyal customers!

Hubby is a diehard coffee drinker, but now likes tea, thanks to Teavana and Samantha, who has been so helpful! Their tea is expensive, but it is high quality. Thanks to Samantha, we recently purchased several varieties of tea.

I went in and bought $ 200 worth of product. 2 gift sets for my grandfather for Xmas and a pound of Moraccan Mint tea and the perfect tea maker for myself. The lady who helped me was great(Samantha D). I put everything in the trunk of my car thinking they had taped the tin shut(only seems logical I guess). By the time I got home I had ½ the tea left in my tin. I had paid $ 40 for the pound bc of a 10% off from my birthday reward via Starbucks! I had to drive all the way back to the store and they said they wouldn’t replace tea bc it is not free. Well no shit! Of course it’s not free but you guys should have taped the damn tin. I paid money and wasted half of it! I’m more than upset and I wish Samantha would have been there because I feel she would have been more sympathetic since she was the one who sold it to me! I won’t go back. This made them lose a customer who is a true tea drinker day in and day out. But I’d rather spend my money on teabags from Vons then risk wasting $ 20 out of $ 40 for a pound again.

I usually get presents at this store for my friends who like tea with various dried fruits, berries, and herbs. I like Teavana’s never ending selection. I only wish that some teas would not have artificial flavorings added to them.

As a self proclaimed(and named by friends) tea snob, I love to hate Teavana. Teavana specializes in a giant variety of loose leaf teas and tea paraphernalia that is just awesome, but way past my budget. I love that the store has tons of samples littered throughout the small store to try or if you’re just thirsty from that cupcake you ate next door. All the salespeople are super friendly and helpful. I bought a cup of tea to go and the cashier suggested I pair their Golden Dragon(one of my favorites) with their pear tranquility tea and it was pretty tasty. I don’t like my tea sweet at all, so I would have liked it without the pear, but I appreciate it when someone who knows what they’re talking about gets me to try something new. That said, this place is just too expensive. I bought two cups of tea to go for about $ 11 whereas at expensive Starbucks it’d be about $ 5 for two bigger cups. Their loose leaf tea pots are gorgeous, but also too expensive. I love their teas, but you can find loose leaf teas elsewhere for much cheaper. They will not sell you their tea in bags, you’ve gotta buy one of their tins. I bought a tall skinny tin and had it filled up with delicious tea… for $ 40. I love my tea, but Teavana is a once in a while experience for my pockets

Teavana has excellent teas. I’ve noticed that the service, however, varies quite a bit from location to location. My one experience at the Valencia store was very positive. Every one was super helpful and friendly in the store. I did not feel they were pushy. Valencia and Mission Viejo are my favorite Teavana locations!

Love. love. love. I went in as a total tea novice and the service was amazing! Friendly and well-versed in their tea knowledge, they made me a few samples and helped me figure out my taste preferences before I even bought anything.

Teavana has an AMAZING variety of teas. The samples give you a glimpse of what they’re offering and are always fresh and delicious. I really like that the employees are upfront and tell you that you can re-steep the tea three times or more. Usually that kind of information is not disclosed because they want you to buy more. The salespeople can be a bit pushy. Also, there is a 2 oz. minimum for loose tea. This doesn’t sound bad until you realize the starting price for some teas are above $ 15. It would be nice to buy a small portion to take home and try instead of spending a lot on something you may potentially dislike. These are the only negatives about Teavana, so I’m taking off one star for both.

Had to give one star because I was not even able to order a cup of tea! Drove 30 minutes in the freezing cold only to find out they do not sell single cups during the holiday seasons! WTF?!? To make matters worse the worker made us seem like idiots for not knowing that a TEA place does not sell cups of TEA during the cold holiday season out here. How do they expect to compete with bigger chains(Starbucks, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, etc) if you cannot come in & purchase a regular cup of tea during certain months?

YAYTEA! I absolutely love this place for the products. As a tea lover, I appreciate their wide variety of tea flavors and the fact that they frequently introduce new and seasonal flavors. All of their teas are loose-leaf, which I just love. In addition to teas, they have a fantastic selection of tea-pots, tea cups, tea tins, as well as other accessories. The bad: For the most part, the staff is friendly, however, almost any time I come here, they are super up-sellers. Although I never succumb to their up-selling, I always feel pressured to buy more than I’m already purchasing. I don’t like that, especially from a tea store. Drinking tea is a relaxing task, so I would expect purchasing it would be fun and relaxing as well. My advice to management: Please tell your staff to not hard-sell so much, just be friendly and genuine, then people would not only purchase more, but they would feel good about their purchases and return for more! :)

So happy to have found my favorite tea spot! I love trying all of the samples and would highly recommend trying the rose ayervedic. This is a popular and flavorful tea. I have sampled Teavanas all over the US, and Unfortunately this location and staff only got 2 starts. I’ve experienced better customer service at other locations. I actually left the store thinking that was probably the worst experience ever ;-( I still gave stars because I love my tea!

OOOOHHHH… let me start bout saying, I heart teas! My friend and I spend the day together and walked in this store and had a blast! The young man that helped us was very friendly and knowledgeable. He really made our shopping experience fun. We went at a great time as they were having their Heavenly Sale 30% — 75% off on selected items. I love that they have sample teas to taste. They have every kind of teas that you can imagine. I ended up buying 2 oz. of the Monkey Picked Oolong, Anjou Pear-adise Oolong and Lavender Dreams White. I learned that you can mix the Monkey Picked Oolong with any flavored tea because Oolong is very light and smooth that you can almost mix any kind of tea. I haven’t tried it yet but I would love to mix the Lavender Dreams White with Monkey Picked Oolong. The Monkey Picked Oolong was the most expensive tea because it’s the hightest oolong tea that you will ever find. I can see why. It is smooth compared to other Oolong teas that I have bought from Asian markets. Along with the loose leaf teas, I bought 3 cute tins to store them in that were under $ 3.00. I like that Teavana also sells their teas by the cup. So for all you tea lovers! Know that you can stop buy at Teavana for a cup of tea! Anyways, I could have made serious damage but had to control myself as the husband was around the premise. Did good. I bought 5 items under $ 65. Now that’s a DEAL!

For loose leaf teas, this is the place to go. With over 50 different types of tea, the possibilities are endless! Most of them are yummy and healthy. No MORE soda! For those coffee drinkers, there are some great alternatives here. The flavored and ingredients range from chocolate tea to unique rare fruit blends! The service here is great too! I went in, got a tour of the store by a knowledgable young lady and learned about tea, how to brew it, and about their large collection of products. Teapots from Japan, China. Kettles on displa in musuems! The teapots are imported and have crazy cool designs and colors. If I wasn’t a broke Unilocaler, I’d definitely get a cast iron I had my eye on. This place was definitely an experience. Since this place is sales, they will try to push a sale. The person who was helping me definitely had a selling mode, but never to the extent that I was annoyed, or flustered, or wanted to escape. They maintained a sweet demeanor and let me go home with a smile and sample tea! Yum. So if you have no clue what this place is about. Check it out. I’ve come back a couple times, but I felt that talking about my first experience is the best for all you Unilocalers. So enjoy a new healthy lifestyle if you become a tea drinker. It’s been a few months and I’ve never turned back! 5 Stars because this place is «As good as it gets!» … by the Unilocal star rating.
