We specialize in helping runners and walkers find the appropriate shoes and apparel for their needs. Each employee is trained in handling injuries and special needs. We will watch the way you run or walk and give you an accurate foot analysis to help you find the proper shoe and proper fit just for you!
History
Established in 2004.
Ed (owner) had loved running growing up, but grew distant from it as he got older and started a family. It wasn’t until his kids began to run in High School that he began to find that love of the sport again. Eventually Kevin, his oldest son, went on to run in college and at professional level. He was a part of the Brooks-Hanson’s Running Project. The Hanson’s helped inspire Ed and give him advise on how to create his own store in our Northern Pittsburgh area. So, on Valentine’s day in 2004, Up-N-Running opened and we’ve loved serving the community ever since!
