place is really clean and easy to find with the huge name on the outside of the building. however for waiting way past appointment time, actual time with dentist was like 5−10min.

I had been going to this Dentist for over two years and my family and I are no longer going here because their service is terrible. The people at the front desk and their main office are indifferent to their customers. They do not care to help and are quick to dismiss you. Here is just one example of many: There was a discrepancy in my son’s Orthodontist bill that I wanted to clear up so I can PAY the balance of my bill. I called my office and there is a female employee who answered that was not nice at all. She had an attitude that seemed like I was bothering her and she tried to rush me off the phone. She put me on hold while I was speaking. After about 2 minutes, she came back and I was told to call the Pasadena office and speak to Martin. I called there and Martin was EXTREMELY rude and DISMISSIVE. Here I am trying to pay a bill and he dismissed me saying I if my son did not have service at this location he could not help me. He had an attitude like he didn’t care. When I tried to explain he put me on hold while I was talking for 2 minutes, just like the other employee. That made me angry. What a joke. I’m trying to pay this company and they don’t even care. When he got back on the phone he said the same thing ONLY LOUDER as if I didn’t hear him the first time. In a heated exchange, I kept trying to tell him that I was trying to pay a bill but he kept repeating the same statement while I was talking at the same time. He was talking over me so I finally hung up. Frustrated, I called the location I had been going to again and the same female employee insisted I still had to call the Pasadena office. I explained that I did but she was even more dismissive. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said she was the only person there. I certainly was not going to call the Pasadena location and speak to Martin again. What kind of service is this when you are TRYING TO PAY A BILL? SMH

My back molar broke last week and I had to make a made an appointment with Dr Wyndhamsmith. I have to say that I get very nervous going to the dentist due to a bad experience I had as a kid (many years ago!!!). I haven’t been to a dentist in four years and I knew this day would come. I can’t say enough about what a positive experience I had which was a total surprise to me!!! The doctor was great, I never felt the needle, the assistant was great with the suction as this is the part I hate most. They even put a rush on my crown as I was heading out on vacation! Highly recommend!

I discovered this office two years ago, after escaping from a VERY BAD unethical Dental office in Canyon County. Go see THAT Unilocal Review.
I searched LONG & Hard to find a safe, honest, skilled dental facility that I could trust. My 1^st contact was with Santiago. He was extremely sweet, understanding, and helpful in setting me and my family up with dental exams & cleaning.
If you read my review form Canyon Country Family Dental, you will see the treatment/​work as well as diagnoses for things I felt were way over the top and unnecessary, were recommended.
Meanwhile, I THANKFULLY found WyndhanSmith & Kim’s office. After xrays and an exam, NONE of the ridiculous dental treatment was recommended. I got my annual teeth cleaning, and a clean bill of health from Michael D Kim. I then asked him about the procedures the OTHER office insisted on doing on me, and he took a double look at my xrays and teeth, explained to me why I DIDN’T need any of that work. Geesh.
I sent in my teenage daughter who had all her Wisdom Teeth extracted with their Oral Surgeon. I forget his name, but he was very good and professional. My daughter had NO complications post surgery.
My husband who is prone to getting tarter and plaque on his teeth, had his teeth cleaned by Dr. Kim, all in ONE office visit. He was NOT numbed, he did NOT bleed and he had NO pain! The OLD office wanted to perform that procedure in two separate office visits, required he be numbed and then given an $ 85 antibiotic mouth wash to rinse for a week, to «prevent infection». Their estimate was $ 185 per side + the $ 85 swanky mouth wash. Dr. Kim just told him to rinse with WARM salt water for a day or two.
The office staff is VERY friendly, and nice. Bed side manner is pleasant relaxing. I’ve had my teeth cleaned every time by Mark, who is SUPER careful, attentive, thoughtful and concerned about hurting me or causing any discomfort. I have NEVER had any pain in this office other than a numbing injection and the uncomfortable cardboard xray card.
Today I had my crown replaced. My temporary, stayed firmly in tack for the full two weeks. It was VERY comfortable. Today, placing the permanent was a cake walk. It fit perfect the FIRST try. No grinding down high spots and it’s BEAUTIFUL. I wish my other crowns LOOKED this REAL!
I am SO grateful I was able to FIND such a trusting office. It seems these days, trying to find a Dentist or a Vet that cares about the health of the patient, MORE than the $$ is RARE! I totally understand why SO many people AVOID the dentist, not only because they dread the bad news and the needles, but because too many unethical humans, that will work on a perfectly good tooth to make a buck.

I went in with my college aged daughter to get her teeth cleaned and whitened. The office was very nice and clean, and the staff seemed very friendly and helpful. Dr. Kim was very patient and thorough with the procedure. He even noticed that my daughter’s front two teeth were a bit uneven and jagged. He recommended rounding and evening the front two teeth by grinding them down slightly. Who knew such a slight change could have such a difference in her smile. I would never have noticed or thought of having that done. He has an artistic eye, and has a sense of esthetics affecting the smile. My daughter is sooo thrilled with the results. Thanks to Dr. Kim my daughter is even more beautiful after our visit to his office.

Nice friendly staffs provided our family with excellent services. Staffs explained each procedures and made all the necessary follow ups to keep us worry free.
I recommend this place to all my friends and families.

My husband and I come here and we are always greeted by the friendliest staff. They are very informative and make you feel very comfortable. The Drs we have seen are great!

I recently just moved to santa Clarita and my friend recommended me this place to get my fillings done! I was nervous to come here at first because I’ve had the same dentist for the past 6 years. when i walked in, the staff were very welcoming and they made me feel comfortable! Dr. Kim was great and he was more than happy to help and answer all my questions! Im glad i finally found a new family dentist! ill definitely take my daughter here to get her wisdom teeth extraction done

I have come to this office for more than 20 years. I just today had a root canal from Dr. Joe Kim. He was very patient, kind and reassuring. He gave me a special numbing shot that reduces the possibility of anxiety (which I get whenever dental work needs to be done). He explained every thing he was doing as he was doing it. I really appreciate that they got me in right away and I appreciate both Dr. Michael Kim and Dr Joe Kim, the endodontist who did the root canal. I’ll be back in two weeks to remove the temporary filling and get the permanent one installed by Dr. Michael Kim. Santiago at the first one desk was very kind and helpful and so was Claudia… I called after hours and they returned my calls quickly. Really, a pretty painless root canal… amazing!

This office took me in i had a bad toothache! I hate the dentist but the pain went away after they did my rootcanal but i did it in two appointment to see the endodontist dr joe! Overall i think ill stay here for dental work! Nice office and plenty of parking which is a plus

I have been coming to this office for a while. The office is clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and accommodate to all my concerns. Doctor explains everything in details. I’m very satisfied with my experience here. There’s plenty of parking next to the plaza!

Switching dental plans Dr Wyndhamsmith’s name was on the provider list and very near us. My wife and I went to look at the office but was not permitted a quick tour. Two front office staff refused to let us see the dental rooms and wouldn’t give a reason for it. So now we will NOT consider then as our dental provider for our family of four!!!

Dr. Wyndham is rude disrespectful and in the most unprofessional dentist I’ve ever had to deal with in my 37 years of life. I couldn’t believe when I went to see this dentist and his first question to me was, do you want to keep your teeth? What kind of question is that for a dentist to ask a new client? I recently sent my wife there to see him and once again this guy was unprofessional. Has a hard time maintaining eye contact while speaking to a client. The only thing that could possibly make sense to me for a person to act as he does is for that person to be under the influence of something. It’s just not right for people to talk to each other like that especially when you go into a professional business seeking help for something as critical as your teeth. I actually considered sending my children to see the dentist before I met him. it’s most definitely time for me to change my dentist and I would strongly recommend people to stay away from this dentist office the people are rude unprofessional disrespectful and to be quite honest they have a hard time reflecting the education that they should have prior to obtaining this type of critical job position.

I just had my last ever visit to this «dentist»! I made an appointment for my son for a check up and cleaning. I arrived on time. After almost 20 min. We were brought into the exam room and the xray tech took xrays. Once the xrays were finished the «dentist» came in, looked at the xrays, asked my son his age, if he was having any problems with his teeth, looked in his mouth for literally 4 –5 seconds and dismissed us. Really? That was an oral exam? 4 sec. When I questioned him he was indignant. «I looked at his xrays, no cavities, that’s it.» Really, you went to years of dental school to look at an x ray and dismiss. Nothing. «Uh, what about the cleaning? «
“Oh you need another appointment for that the technician isn’t here today.» Technician? Not a Dental Hygienist? «No we don’t have hygienist, that an UPGRADE» How much training does your technician have? «I don’t know? » So literally 3 min. tops with the dentist. No oral cancer screening, no check for gum disease, no physical exam at all beyond a glance at the rays. A recommendation for wisdom teeth removal based on his age, not based on the actual wisdom teeth position, and you want me to come back again for a cleaning with someone whom you don’t know how much training they have? Really? Two visits to do one job. Double billing helps your bottom line is guess. Suggestion for oral surgery boosts your ability to bill the insurance too. This dentist should be ashamed to call himself a dentist. Maybe he should be a technician! AND you should reimburse your parents for the cost of dental school because you sure act like a technician!!!

I have been going to this practice for about 10 years now. Once I started going there, I knew I wouldn’t go any where else. The doctors and the staff are exceptional! They are very experienced, professional, ethical, and compassionate. I have a lot of problems with my teeth and I don’t know how I could have survived without them. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for an outstanding dentist to go there!

Dr. Kim was great to answer all my questions! He made me feel welcomed and he calmed my nerves. Mark did a wonderful cleaning as well! It took me many years to find a dentist that was warm and welcoming and also very knowledgable! Recommend this place for sure!

Going to Wyndhamsmith and Kim was my second attempt at trying to find a good HMO dentist in the SCV.
I originally picked Wyndhamsmith and Kim based on the good reviews on Unilocal,but now I know those reviews don’t reveal everything about a dentist.
I made an appointment at Wyndhamsmith and Kim for an initial cleaning. I arrived early for my appointment and filled out my paperwork for first time patients. I was taken on time into an examination room.
The dental assistant says to me, «So you’re here for an examination?»
I replied, «No, I’m here for a cleaning.»
She says, «We don’t do cleanings and exams in the same appointment.»
Huh?
At that point I told her that if I had known this ahead of time I never would have selected Wyndhamsmith and Kim as my dentist. I have to take a half of day off of work for any appointments and Wyndhamsmith and Kim expected me to come back two times just to get an examination and cleaning. I can’t afford that much time off from work and I can’t waste that much time. I didn’t stay for the exam and I won’t be going back.
I get it, some dental offices prefer to work this way and split up the examination and cleaning into two different appointments. So why the low stars and bad review? This office has obviously functioned this way for a while and the receptionist knows it. When I called in I asked for an initial cleaning. At no time during that first call did the receptionist EVER mention Wyndhamsmith and Kim’s two appointment policy. I was not given the opportunity to decide ahead of time whether or not the office’s policies were a good fit for me. Instead I wasted half a day, and another month not getting my teeth cleaned because it takes an entire month to switch dentists through my HMO insurance.
Unless a dentist is terrible at diagnostics, the main differences between dentists will show in the customer service. When a dentist office treats me as if my time isn’t valuable, and what I want isn’t valuable, I know that dentist isn’t for me.

Efficient. Always pleasant. Do exactly what they say they will and also explain everything very well. I have already recommended to many friends.

Nobody likes the dentist; we all know that but I have been to a few in Santa Clarita over the years and this is, BY FAR, the best!
Dr. Wyndamsmith is a little matter-​of-​fact but I like that! I am not one who wants a doctor or dentist who candycoats things in an effort to achieve some formal threshold of bedside manner. Just tell me what the deal is and that is how Dr. Wyndamsmith is! For me… HE IS PERFECT! But if you are real sensitive and fragile then you might thing he is a little rough around the edges.
As for Dr. Kim, the endodontist… everybody had me scared about a root canal and that mess was a piece of cake. I am guessing technique plays a part because it was nothing to me. The worst part was that I was ready to be able to close my mouth after the 15 minutes or so that it took but he walks you through it all and even updates you regarding how much longer! He’s great!
Most importantly, when I first came here it was shortly after a bridge that a different doctor put on came off. Apparently it was loose and the supporting tooth had decayed as a result. The first dentist I went to seemed like a crook! The work he told me I needed done just didn’t seem right and he wanted to pull a few teeth and do implants. Dr. s Wyndamsmith and Kim have saved the teeth and repaired them. This is saving me money (which is important) but it is also saving me time, pain, and who knows what else. For me, a good dentist takes the time to deal with the issues at hand and a crappy, lazy, thief dentist tries to pull everything and charge you a gazillion dollars to replace them with fake teeth… JUST MY BRUTALLY HONEST OPINION!

i was recommended by a friend to see dr kim the office is very modern and clean and the staff is friendly and professional. Dr kim was very thoroughly in explaining all the option i had i felt very comfortable with the office. All the treatment rendered went smoothly without any pain and i had alot of work from not having seen the dentist in years. I have recommended this office to all my fam and friends. The experience was topnotch. Parking is very easy with very little time waiting to see the dentist. Like the previous reviewers, i finally feel as though i find the right office.
