Inside and Out Mobile Auto Detail

I just moved to Benicia and needed a new source for auto detailing. I have a Lexus SUV and found «Inside & Out» on Unilocal.I called and spoke with Gary McDaniel (owner) and scheduled a Full Detail on my vehicle. Gary just left and I have to say my vehicle looks outstanding. Gary did a wonderful job! I am very impressed with his attention to detail and professionalism. I am happy to write this review and look forward to sharing Gary’s contact information with my family, friends and colleagues.

Gary is the man! Went to the snow over the weekend with my 3 dogs (german shepherd, husky mix, and blue heeler) and came back filthy how a subie should. Called up Gary and he drove out to me. Did what he’s good at and damn I am amazed. Will definitely contact this guy again! Highly recommend.

I never do reviews, but I don’t think this guy deserves an overall rating of five stars. In fact, if I could give less than one star I would since nothing was even done to my car. I called Gary this week on Sunday and scheduled an inside and out detail for today, Wednesday, at 8am. He actually sounded excited to do it and was very nice on the phone which was great. He told me to text him my address which I did, but I didn’t get a reply or a confirmation of receipt. Wednesday morning arrives and I text him at 7:41am and tell him where my unit is. He proceeds to call me back sounding like he just woke up (speculation). He asks me who I am, when my appointment was, what car I had, where I was located and what kind of service I was getting. He then gave me his excuse which was something along the lines of having issues with his schedule because he totalled two vehicles and he has been in a fog. He asked when I was available another time to which I responded, «I’m not sure, I’d have to check my schedule». He then asked if he could come by later today, but I declined because I had to go to school. There is a reason I even have a mobile detailer come to my home. I work full time and go to school full time and am very busy. I gave up on this particular detailer at that moment and told him I would check my schedule and call him back when I find time again. I hopped in the shower.
I get out of the shower about 20 minutes after 8. I see that I have missed calls and text messages. After telling Gary I would call him back, he proceeded to call me back two times in a row. Then there are two text messages asking if I was in Vallejo and then one saying he is outside of my house. I get dressed to go and look. It’s raining outside and there is no one there.
My question is: if, when I spoke to him before 8, he could have been to my house in a matter of minutes, why ask me to reschedule? Why not tell me I’ll be right there? Seems a little shady to me.
I try to get my car detailed every 6 months and am still looking for a detailer who is both good at what they do and who can at least show up when they are supposed to without me having to follow up like a manager. When I find that detailer, they will have one loyal customer and a good Unilocal review.

I called to schedule an appointment and Gary was able to come out that day to clean my car. He did an awesome job, I don’t think the car had been that clean since I bought it (it was VERY dirty as we had just come back from a 7 day road trip =) He even came back the next day to clean my other car. Gary has a great attitude; it was a pleasure doing business with him.
I would highly recommend Inside and Out Mobile Auto Detail!!!
