In the new year of 2012 Punky’s Design launched a line of Baby on a Board decals… and here’s the story:

Well, I’m just going to come out and say it… I was so over the boring yellow with black text and clipart ‘Baby On Board’ signs that EVERYONE has on their cars. I refused to own one… THAT one especially. But after shopping around for weeks, it was clear that I wasn’t going to find what I was looking for.

Being a graphic designer and, back then, a soon-​to-​be first time mom, I was 30 weeks pregnant and determined to design my own personalized ‘Baby on Board’ decal for my car before this baby made his debut.

I wanted it to be personal, colorful, yet simple and straight forward.

This designs are meant to be fun and personal just for you…

…besides everyone knows, all babies are unique.

Aloha and thank you for visiting my Yelp page! My name is Faren Lyn Gainous, A.K.A. «Punky» as my family and close friends call me.

I have over 5 years of experience and continue to learn more each day with this ever changing industry.

I have no specific «style» as some graphic designers might have. I like to focus on each individual client and their style and needs… from Spunky to Professional. Whatever services you might need, I will more than likely be able to handle any project you have in mind =)

Working with Faren was was super easy! I went off of a recommendation from a friend who used her for many of her own invites (baby shower, 1st Bday, etc), and decided to go with her since I was initially in a bind to get invites done quickly due to a fast upcoming event date. Faren is quick to reply, easily accessible and like other reviewers have said, she is patient! I went through quite a few edits because I didn’t have all the event info right away (my own fault) and then the event date kept changing! lol.
Super happy with my invites and can’t wait to order from her again!

If you are searching for a graphic designer, look no further — Faren is best! I looked her up on recommendation from my cousin, who went to her for her own wedding designs and had seen her work for her friends. Her online portfolio underscores her range, but the quality of her work came through in many other ways. Her artistry and creativity and ability to discern her client’s wishes became very apparent to me over the months we worked together. Even when I felt that I was not able to clearly describe my vision, the final outcome was exactly what I had wished for — simple and beautiful. Throughout the entire process of coming up with a design and all through the edits for my wedding stationery she was so patient, responsive and accommodating. She has been such a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone.

I googled «Samoan Save The Dates», and one of her masterpieces pulled up. Immediately, I fell in love with the 2 little kids on it, something different than having the actual couple on it. I love my culture, so I wanted to incorporate our traditional Samoan patterns in my save the date. I took a shot with Faren @ Punky’s Design and shot an email to her. She responded quickly. She was really nice, patient and always made me feel as if my project is what matters, even tho’ I know she has a million of other things to do. I always had little requests here and there and she had no problem making the changes and sending a new draft after every change. My Save The Dates turned out amazing! More than what I had initially visualized. Being a first time bride, Punky’s Designs made me feel at ease with the planning part of my wedding. Samoans aren’t used to Save The Dates, lol, but they learned the day they got ours! I am definitely going back for my Wedding invitations to be done. I promise you, you will not be disappointed!

I was asked to get some last minute invitations done for my aunt’s 50th birthday. A good friend of mine told me about Punky’s and she emailed Faren for me. I had originally had planned to have the invites mailed to me but do to this being last minute I asked if I could pick my invitations up since they are a local company. I purchased a baby’s on board decal and I truly love it, I’m a warriors fan and she had this cute custom design baby on back board warriors baby decal. It is durable and unique and definitely stands out from most baby on board stickers. Faren is very polite, creative, and efficient. I’ve also had a baby shower card made from her and it was also tailored to my needs. She answers my questions to make sure I get what I want and get the most out of the design. I just want to say first and foremost Faren’s work is amazing. She never ceases to amaze me with her work.
This has been my third order and will not be my last.
I started off with the baby on a score board decal. I ended up purchasing 2 (1 for me & husband)
I next ordered Christmas cards & now baptism invites.
I have gone to parties and seen her work too. This last party I went to Faren created thank you favors with magnets. She does it all just ask :)
Faren is sweet, easy to work with and turn around time is awesome.
I highly recommend Faren.

I was looking for a «baby on board» signs for awhile and found this unique decals on Ebay. When I showed my husband their product, he’s so excited and said «This is the one!» Then I ordered it right away from their website. It’s just so perfect for us that we are a hockey players/​fans, so their product is definitely adorable.
I was surprised Faren email me with my order confirmation. She’s super helpful and answer all questions. Although I don’t really bother to give rating to business, but for her great work, I am doing it now. And I will definitely recommended her products to all my friends and families.

Faren is the best designer I’ve worked with. We have done several projects together and the end result is always the bomb. I had her build me a website on a tight deadline. I was gonna lose my domain name and needed to switch hosting companies asap. She was sure to meet the deadline and worked non stop down to the wire until i was up and running. Their was a ton of hassle switching over and she spent hours on the phone with the tech department making sure everything was in order. The end result surpassed my expectations as usual.
