Highly disappointed with the Fright Fest event at this park. Almost 3 hour wait for Superman and the scare zones were blah(I usually scare pretty easily too). I was sooo bitter about the season pass deal, that gave you the illusion that once you got your Gold season pass, that it also included the Fright Fest activities(«FREEFRIGHTFEST&FREEVISITSIN2015APPLIESONLYTO2016PASSES»), & when I talked to a park official he explained that it’s really misleading because they are only talking about the zombies walking around, not the haunted houses which on the night I went was $ 25 extra per person. I’ll do Magic Mountain instead. Hands UP! YeeEee!

Way way way overpriced !!! The scare zones were well decorated and some of the actors got into character that is the only thing positive about this event ! Stand in insanely long lines to have to go through with other people into haunt which takes away experience when u see what is coming next. Not enough actors in haunts and ones in most not really in character. The haunted houses in no way we’re scary ! Don’t waste your money on this event it is insane the price of admission and then to have to pay more for the haunts ! Should be separate tickets for each if u just want to do fright fest part like Great America does.

Terribly unsatisfied. Paid nearly $ 70.00 to obtain season passes yet, to enter any haunted houses, you must possess a wrist band which is not provided to you at entry. Lines are an hour long minimum and it is literally a miserable time

I got the season pass since my friends and I knew we were going to go more than once(mainly to catch fright fest). To be honest both experiences weren’t the best. First time I went half of the big coasters weren’t working or moving pretty slowly. I was only able to ride on 3 of them because the others were closed(one coaster closed while waiting in line). The second time we went for fright fest and it was unorganized to say the least. The lines were outrageously long and unfortunately not much supervision throughout the lines, causing many disorderly people to cut lines the whole time. I also think they are terribly understaffed which is another reason why this is a problem. All in all the rides are fun if they are working but probably wouldn’t say this is a must see attraction.

Save your money and make the trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Discovery Kingdom is inferior and not worth the money Six Flags is charging.

I think I shouldn’t have had to pay $ 70 each admission and then another $ 35 each on top for the haunted houses especially when the employees weren’t checking wrist bands! That means anybody could’ve snuck in. On the haunts that they did check vip its well worth extra $ 10. The animal kingdom part of park was closed and they’re still charging same price? The coaster rides seats are sticky and not cleaned. I can say it is the props R better here then great Americas haunt but maybe it’s because we go there every year. Probably won’t drive 81 miles here again when great Americas haunt is 15 min away. Not coming back for a while

Long lines, touchy staff, and cheap scares. Was very impressed by the zombies roaming the park as well as the«carn-evil» exhibit. The rest of the exhibits were decent but forgettable. I didn’t like that one of the employees grabbed my GoPro camera in an attempt to scare me.
