History
Established in 1986.
Curtis began performing professionally during his high school years, and like many magicians, began performing at children’s birthday parties, cub scout blue & gold banquets, retirement homes, union halls, and such like. For many years he simply performed his show titled «The Magic of Curtis Waltermire.» After taking some time off from magic to pursue other business pursuits (he was a construction sub-contractor for several years), it wasn’t until 2007 that he began performing professionally again and named his business and website domain «Curtis Magic.» Though his unique business logo brand and name have only been around since 2007, his professional history dates as far back as 1986.

Curtis W.
Business Owner
Curtis began entertaining audiences in 1980 when he would re-tell old Bill Cosby comedy routines in front of his 7th-grade classroom. It was then he discovered that he loved to make audiences laugh. When he was about 8 or 9 years old, he had an «Uncle Charlie» (who doesn’t, right?) who used to do a couple of coins tricks to him each year they would visit with family over labor-day weekend. These events launched a life-long fascination with magic and performing that has been with him for over 30 years. In addition to magic, Curtis also performs professionally as an actor in film, TV, and commercial printwork. He has appeared in ads for such clients as Cox Communications, Via Christi, Ribbitt Computers, Intrust Bank, and the Coleman Company, as well as recent industrial films for Koch Industries and Spirit Aerosystems. He has lived coast-to-coast throughout the U.S. (including Alaska), and currently resides in Kansas with his wife of 20 years and their two daughters.
