Great little library! Love the kids section, as for the rest of the library well I wouldn’t know, my daughter has never let me go explore.

The library has the best morning story times for preschoolers both Wednesday and Friday mornings with Mr. Richard and Mrs. Davis. The calendar shows that there are great things for older students and adults happening all week long.

Built just a few years ago it’s easy to understand how this attractive, cozy, user friendly library with scenic views won a design award. There are plenty of outlets near lounge chairs or tables for keeping personal technology devices charged. And fewer homeless due to semi-rural location.

I attended a free networking workshop here and was pleasantly surprised with this Library in the country. As you pull into the Library’s parking lot you’ll notice how cool the outside landscaping is. Valley Center is pretty sparse but they did a great job of making this place feel different and relaxing. The library itself was clean and well organized. There shouldn’t be any issue finding what you’re looking for. They also have a nice kids reading area. — I suggest you go online and check out their events calendar and learn something new! — The staff here is extremely helpful and county polite. — Lots of glass windows, with tranquil views. — Anyone can book a room here and give a lecture or event as long as its free.

A cozy library in a nice building with a pretty view of Valley Center. The staff are always helpful and very nice. The library used book store often has some great selections at very affordable prices. I am to have this library so close to home.

Amazing library! So much space and well laid out. My favorite library in the north county area for sure. Everything is new or at least very well kept. The librarians are extremely helpful and friendly. Gotta love free wifi and plenty of power outlets to go around. Also a nice set up of computers for people to use with their library cards.

It’s surprising that Valley Center would have such a nice library. There’s an outside patio you can sit at and read. Definitely nicer than the Vista library although Vista is way closer to me. The library is part of the SDCL so your library card works both here and in Vista.

I love this library! It’s fairly new and was constructed to be not just a place to hold books, but a comfortable place to read them. There are great, comfy chairs next to a sweet fireplace, with a perfect, tranquil view of open field. The Book selection is pretty good within the library, but maintains it’s five star rating because of the resources it has with other libraries around the county. You can find books from all the other county libraries as well as university libraries and a few others. Funny enough, the video selection is actually also great, ANDFREE!!! My wife and I love that and definitely take advantage of that plenty. With all that said there is one finally thing that really tops the cake; the online and technology side of the library works fantastically. You can order, renew, check-out, search, and read materials right from their website and this includes searching all surrounding libraries materials as well. What more can I say, I love it… and all that from a library so far out of the hustle and bustle of town =D
