thought I was in the twilight zone or on candid camera. But it was real life. Do yourself a huge favor and run as fast as you can in the opposite direction if you have an encounter with this company.

If I could give them no stars I would! If you are dealing with Home Depot warranty and they recommend this company look elsewhere! We tried to get the top of our dishwasher replaced they came in the first week and said the part needed to be ordered ok no problem. Came back a week later to install but it was the wrong color the technician actually asked if I wanted the wrong color installed this man was very short and rude when I told him no he said that they person ordering the part messed up and a new one would be overnighted. I said I needed it done by Thursday he said no problem. Called and spoke to a lady who was also very short when we did not hear from them she said the part was on back order and pretty much said it was Home Depots problem not theirs. They would not recommend any alternatives and seemed «put out» they had to deal with a Home Depot customer! Very unprofessional I’m glad it was a minor repair and nothing big cancelled business with them!

We got set up to use this company through our home warranty for our air conditioner repair. Our A/​C went out last Wednesday, in the middle of summer. Our house is 94 degrees. They came out Thursday morning, around 9, spent 5 minutes took some parts and said that it wouldn’t be fixed this weekend and left. That was it. I called them and they explained they had to order parts, yada yada yada, Monday morning, no parts ordered. Tuesday afternoon they FINALLY ordered the parts. Today, one week later, they called and said they will be be out Friday, that the parts were in. Why wait until Friday?! I can understand if you were a busy company, but you aren’t, and current customers should come first, finish a job, then go on to the next. The customer service people are rude, one of them lied, I had to call my home warranty to sort it out and prove they were lying. I could go on and on. Overall, this is just a bad company, rude and could care less about their customers. Fingers crossed they actually fix our problem.

This company is unprofessional, disrespectful, and untrustworthy.
I’ve been out of a washer for 6 weeks because this company refuse to be professional and do what they’re paid to do. After 4 weeks of waiting for a part they said that was on back order. The company said that they were unable to fix it and home Depot will need to replace it with a new one. I called home depot about replacing the washer but was told that was not going to happen because Grayson Appliances said it was fixed!!! I’ve been out of a washer for 6 weeks and your company is going to do this shit to me? From the very first week this company has been rude to me and now this. What is the point in getting a warranty?!

Rudest business owner I have ever met in my life.

My appointment with Grayson Collin Appliance was set up for me by Electrolux for a warranty repair on my dryer. Despite the fact that Electrolux provided them the specific error code my dryer was giving, after waiting for nearly a week for them to show up, the technician did not have the required parts on his truck. They had to be ordered. This delayed the repair almost 2 additional weeks. Two parts were ordered, so when they finally showed up with the parts (it’s now been 3 weeks without a dryer), one was installed; the 2^nd one was defective (not their fault — that was completely on Electrolux). However, the defective part had to be re-​ordered. YES! Another couple of weeks. When the new part arrived, the technician had re-​ordered the wrong part number. This part was their fault. After numerous phone calls to Electrolux directly AND to the store where I originally purchased the dryer just over a year ago and having them get involved in trying to get Electrolux to help expedite this repair, Grayson Collin Appliance received the part for my dryer 2 days after they were here and discovered they had the wrong part. HOWEVER, even though they have drug out this process and I have been without a dryer for 6 weeks, they would not create a slot in their schedule to get someone out to install that part. I had to wait 6 days after the part arrived to even get on the schedule. When I questioned this with Brooke, who answers the phone, I was told, «The schedule is full until Thursday.» I replied, «And I doubt any of those folks have been waiting for 6 weeks for you to make their repair. I feel like I should have priority since you’ve already been out to my house 3 times.» She said, in a very short and huffy tone, «Do you want the slot on Thursday or do you want me to return your part and just forget it?» Both a customer service agent from Electrolux and one of the supervisors from Electrolux Customer Service have called and spoken to Brooke and she refuses to create a slot to get anyone out to my house earlier than Thursday — still 2 days from now. Meanwhile, my family of 5 — including 3 small children has been without our $ 1300 dryer for a 6 week period. While both technicians who have been out to my house have been very nice and are sympathetic to the situation, the company as a whole has been HORRIBLE to work with. I didn’t have a choice in contracting them in the first place, but I would NEVER, EVER use them by choice. Absolutely, one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

Twenty days ago my 5 month old Samsung washing machine broke so Samsung put us in touch with Grayson. Grayson came out and diagnosed the problem, but I had to wait a week before they came out because they were so busy. Then we had to wait for the part. The tech came out and said the part ordered by the other tech did not work in the washing machine. So, it has been 17 days without a washing machine! The tech ordered the wrong part. So, Grayson ordered another part on a Tuesday; the part did’t come in until Friday afternoon and the first time they can come out to fix the machine is next Thursday which will be 26days. Don’t get me wrong everyone is very polite its just their service is not good. The tech diagnosed the problem wrong then it takes them forever to schedule service. If Samsung suggests Grayson Applicance to repair your Samsung Washing Machine… BEWARE!

Our refrigerator was on the fritz, not cooling enough and letting freezer items thaw and refrigerated items spoil. Living out in the countryside, I knew we’d have a limited choice of appliance repair shops to call, but I found Grayson-​Collin on
and they seemed to have decent reviews, so we gave them a call.
The lady that answered the phone was very helpful, took my information and the problem I was calling about and told me that a technician would be in our area on Friday and that he would call me that morning to give me a time window of when to expect him. The technician called first thing that morning as promised and I was given a 2-​hour window of when he’d arrive.
He arrived at the early part of that time window and took a look at the fridge while asking us about its behavior, then pretty quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermostat (which made sense). He told us they’d have to order the part and would be back the next week to install it. In the meantime, he rigged the fridge to be on cooling mode all the time so that our food would stay cold enough and we could just unplug the fridge once things started getting too cold (i.e., fridge items freezing).
They called us the next week (Wednesday I think) letting us know the part had come in and the tech would come by the next day to install it. Again the tech called me in the morning to give me a time window of when he would arrive, and he arrived at the early part of that window. It didn’t take very long for him to install the part and get our refrigerator functioning normally again. Though his writing on the service ticket was hard to read and the way he conveyed the cost of each visit on the ticket was a little confusing or unclear (they didn’t put a grand total of the whole shebang on there which is what was charged to our credit card), the total cost seemed pretty reasonable.
Overall, all representatives of this business seemed professional, friendly, prompt and knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to call them again for other appliance repairs.
