Short history got to Astro tires whit a flat tire the guys where nice but after they check out my tire they gave me the price to get fix I got shock $ 30 to fix a tire is ridiculous then they when down to $ 20 but still lot money to fix a tire regular price at diferent shops are from 10 to 15 to patch a tire (patch not a plug) the point is that a first want to take all your Money I won’t recommend this place.

Hate having to go see these guys but always a pleasure when I do. They’re fast and professional. Will fox a flat or sell you a new tire at a very reasonable price.

Great customer service and very fair prices. I’ve been going to this place for many years. I had them put on four tires today and was out of there in less than 30 min. Good work guys!

Went in today to replace two tired today for my BMW. The technician was very honest on what I need and what possibly made the noise from my front end of the car. Sure enough he was right! Now my car is back to its normal self again. We definitely be coming here again. Thanks guys.

Hector is amazing! He filled up my tires for free when I was really worried that there was a leak in one, it was just a little low on air. He was super friendly and helpful :)

If you live in the valley you got to have a great tire place! The construction teams never pick up after themselves when you are out I’m on San Fernando Road and you’re going to have flat tires., these guys always have great advice, are easy to work with and fast and affordable

I have been coming here for years and never had a problem til recently… I got a flat driving yesterday on a brand-​new tire and put a can of fix a flat in there and drove directly to them. They gave me the option of a plug for $ 20 or a patch for $ 25 and explained to me that the patch was the better option so I asked them to put a patch on it. Four hours later when I went to my car to go pick my son up from his school dance, I had a flat tire again. I took it back to him in the morning and he said that there was a separate hole which I believed him and saw it and my first thought was, «wow, they must have missed it yesterday»… I figured he would Patch it and send me on my way so I shook his hand and thanked him but he patched it and explained to me that it was a different hole and then proceeded to charge me another $ 20… My thought is, «would you have charged me $ 45 to patch both holes yesterday» or «did he just charge me to do two different jobs when his guy messed up the day before and missed one of the holes in my tire?». The fact that his guy missed the whole yesterday cost me a Nother can of fix a flat and a taxi ride home for my son from his school dance last night so in total this whole experience cost me $ 70 bucks for two cans of fix a flat, two separate repairs on my tire, and a taxi ride home from my son at 10 PM at night because I had no car to go get him. if I had known this then I would’ve just spent another 30 bucks and bought a brand-​new tire. Btw… All 4 of my tires are less than one month old and I must’ve ran something over that gave me the flat. They are really nice people and not rude, I left the 2^nd star on for the service that I have received in the past but after this morning, I doubt I’ll ever go back there and I doubt he cares enough to respond to my review.

We needed a special tire. We looked everywhere and they are the only people who had it. Thank God. They were fast and easy to deal with. We will definitely be going back if we need something.

Great place! So happy I found this place.
Was quoted $ 300 for a set of new tires from another place and driving around running some errands, just happened to see this yellow building and stopped in.
Super happy I did! Got 2 used but practically new tires for $ 130 out the door.
Was done in 10 minutes.
Owner and employee were both really nice guys too.
Would definitely come here again and recommend to friends!

This guy took advantage of me when I got a flat tire on the freeway so I had to drive all the way to him. he charged me a high price for a very bad tire.
Don’t go there dishonest guy and be careful when u deal with him cause anyway he doesn’t care about his business… !!!

Every time I show up with another busted tire, they fix it up quick and painlessly! I’m always in and out in around 20 minutes. See you next time a nail decides to mess with my day guys!

Great service. Very fast with reasonable prices. My best friend recommended this place because she used them a couple of time. I am very happy i had tried them. They saved me a lot of money.

The only place I go for any tire issue. Clearly, the scattered negative reviews are coming from people who (a) want work done free, or (b) want a miracle. Eddie (the owner) is the best! He’s fair, fast, friendly, and affordable. As a woman, visiting an auto shop can be daunting and most of us have no clue if we’re being swindled… Eddie is so honest and upfront. He offers you options ranging in price and does his best to meet your needs. A little bonus that has nothing to do with tires — Eddie’s a lover of animals, which, for me, is nice to know. I like doing business with someone with a big heart and similar values. Do not hesitate to go to Astro Tire on Balboa Blvd., Lake Balboa! Always a pleasure and satisfaction.

Friendly service only at first. Prices are completely made up on the spot depending on how the owner feels that day.
***Warning***
Inspect all the work they do before you take it away. VERY CAREFULLY. They will blame you for anything they screw up if you don’t notice it immediately on receipt. Pay especial attention to broken stems, gouged and scratched rims.
Had decent experience with them over past few years, even though the price kept going up every time. That was acceptable only until they screwed up one my tires and blamed me for it 15 minutes later after I came back. Owner made up contradicting to himself excuses and lied twice to my face, after which had the guts to attempt to shake my hand.
I will be looking for a new tire shop.
The second star is for speedy service and for good job in the past. I can credit them that much.
They’re probably ok at simple repairs and punctures, but so is an average Joe following instructions.

These guys are great, took my Mini Cooper in today and they checked the tire that was going flat every other day… Thanks guys highly recommended!!!

Been coming to Eddie at Astro Tires for years.
Prices of new tires are outrageous, espically for a contractors work vehicle which will probably find a screw or nail along the way.
For a fraction of the cost of new tires you can get some good quality used tires with a lot of life left on them. Getting 4 Goodyear’s right now for under $ 250. Last set of Michelin’s lasted a year.
With the money I save I’ll by expensive tires for my Harley! Thanks Eddie.
