TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did. After my friend recommended this place, and I was done being effed with at Pep Boys (shudder) I let the guys at Castle take a look.
I told them my fears that Pep Boys had sabotaged my car, and they assured me that they’d take a look and document what they found.
Castle charged $ 99 to inspect my vehicle, but deducted that from the cost of the repair, which was great!
For $ 427, they fixed what Pep Boys had charged $ 1,115 to repeatedly fail to fix.
And they got it done overnight.
I loved how the office manager LISTENED to me, and wrote down what I said.
I don’t think he believed me at first when I told him I thought my car had been sabotaged at Pep Boys, but he at least took me seriously enough to write down notes, and then called to to confirm that I was, in fact, correct.
And the documentation and careful notes Castle provided helped me get Pep Boys to pay me back for all their shenanigans. Castle Auto even saved the part Pep Boys had damaged so I could keep it just in case I needed to go to court.
So they saved me a TON of money, got me over a thousand dollars BACK, and fixed my car wonderfully.
She runs better than ever.

These guys are rock solid, honest, informative, and caring. Family owned business that was started by the father in the early 60’s and is now ran by the son, Ara. I had an AC issue and Ara came out and ran my truck through several simple diagnostics aiming to find something simple and inexpensive to help me out. I didn’t have the time to get the part put in today, but it was just nice to have Ara come out of the office to help me. He’s authentic, caring, cool, and super helpful. When I have the time, I’ll be back to get my AC back to ice cold. Thanks Ara!

I’ve known Ara for years now, the place is great for some repairs, i should say: most repairs.
A bit of a wait is a regular affair, no biggy.
Ara will keep you entertained with the stories about his father building this shop for him and the wonderful specs, LOL.
This is the place to go for small jobs and quick «on-​the-​spot» service.
Don’t come here for major mechanical jobs, no overhaul or machine shop type of «rebuild» systems.
This is fast and friendly service and it is the best place to go if your car has some smog issues
that you don’t want or cant afford to repair, rest assure Ara will pass the car!

I went in today for a quote to re change my air conditioning. The man quoted me
do the job .I went 3 doors down the street and thay charged me 80.00.castle automotive is a rip off…

I’m mad at them for overcharging me and not getting the problem fixed! I was charged $ 66 alone for the labor, and I came asking for my a/​c to be repaired nothing else! After they finished with the repair, it seemed to be a little cooler, but I didnt get my hopes up. I tried out the a/​c all day (at night too) and it upset me that nothing had changed. So the following Monday I took it to where I was suppose to originally take it and to my surprise their price on the diagnoses, labor, and freon (caps were free) was ALL for $ 60! I was shocked by how much cheaper it was! They ended up recharging and adding freon (because they said there was more air in my a/​c than freon) and performing a system flush all for $ 40 and they did an excellent job! There are phone numbers in the receipts to both places if anybody doubts my claims. Below, is a price comparison for the EXACT SAME services. If they overcharge this much for adding freon to your car, I’m sure everything else is just as overpriced.

This review is for customer service which is not a small aspect of any business…
In my mind, there’s no room for a snarky attitude in this kind of economy– I needed a replacement side view mirror and had questions as to how fast this could happen. I’m not in the industry so I actually don’t know the answers to the questions I’m asking, imagine that. I can’t speak to the quality of work, but honestly I imagine it’s not rocket science to replace a mirror and would’ve been satisfied had I been treated respectfully. Instead I’ll be going elsewhere w my 5 star review for an easy job.

I needed a new battery and they were super nice and tested my battery before installing it. They gave me a printed diagnostic report and explained that I needed a new battery ASAP. Prices were lower than other local mechanics. I will totally go back here for any car repairs.

Steve and Ara are as professional and nice as they come. My Ford Escape needed a complete air conditioning overhaul, new compressor, hose assembly, virtually everything. A Ford dealer quoted me over $ 800 what these guys charged me. They give honest repair quotes and do the job right. What else could one ask for? Thank you Castle Automotive!

I’ve been going to Castle for a few years now and I tell everyone I know to take their cars there. I once had to get my car towed to a different place that was 24 hours, but when I called Ara to compare estimates, Ara’s was significantly lower. My car is a little banged up has a few quirks, but they’ve never pushed me to get anything fixed that wasn’t necessary to drive safely. Ara and Steve are the best!

What do you know, customer service isn’t dead! Very timely in getting back to my initial request and when I brought my car over to get checked out, it turned out all I needed was two new tires to fix the violent shaking that plagued my car the day before. Ara (the owner I believe) showed me across the lot to the tire place next door and didn’t charge me a dime. Needless to say, when I need to get my car fixed in the future, I know where to go!

My 2005 Saturn Vue had been starting to get a little sluggish and was told that I needed to get a new battery. Within 5 minutes of calling Castle, they were able to see me. And within 20 minutes, my car’s battery had been changed and I was out the door. They were friendly and reasonably priced and I will definitely be going back to them.

I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with mechanics over the years, but not so with Castle. Friendly, reasonably priced and most importantly, honest! Which seems to be rare in this industry.
Had my brakes done recently and after about an hour they called to tell me the total was going to be lower than estimated! I don’t think that’s ever happened to me in the past.
And today while doing a minor repair they checked the air in my tires and replaced a burned out taillight. All part of the job.
They have earned a loyal customer for life.

These guys have fixed nails in three of my cars over the past 5 years. Always courteous, friendly and quick. $ 20 to fix my flat compared with $ 200 to replace the tire. Well we all know the answer to that question. Thank you Castle Automotive

Castle Automotive is amazing! Steve @ Castle was great to work with. When I first took my car for what I thought was an oil leak they checked it out and did not find anything wrong. They proceeded to re-​attach a piece of the under frame and did not charge me, I could not believe it.
I then took the car in for a timing belt and paid just what was quoted. They are very nice people to work with and I highly recommend using them for
your mechanic needs. We will definitely use them in the future. You can trust them and that goes a long way. As a woman going to a mechanic I feel like I will be taken advantage of but not here. Great Place !
