Fabrics Up Front

Wow! Fabrics up Front saved my budget hundreds of dollars and saved my favorite old couch. I was having a terrible time deciding what to do about my beautiful but pink couch. Robert, the owner helped me pick a beautiful fabric which was more than the free selections but exactly suited my taste. His shop made beautiful slipcovers for the couch and reupholstered two living room chairs. The workmanship on the slip covers was superb and the chairs are beautiful as well. Everything went without a hitch including timely delivery. I would recommend this place without reservation. Don’t settle for that old pink couch any longer.

This place was a severe disappointment. After meeting Robert, the «man in charge» and the person who completes the orders, i was so excited about getting my sofa slipcovers done.
After 8 years, my original cotton brushed canvas slipcovers from Al’s Discount Furniture (Oh how I wish I had gone back) were looking very tattered.
First of all, Robert makes such a good pitch, that you think you’re going to be so happy the final product.
Here is what I got:
1) the wrong fabric was used on my slipcovers,
2) after calling the office very upset, I was offered «anything to make me happy»; that never happened
3) Robert took his time in calling me back when I tried to arrange for the sofa to be redone
4) after specifying that I wanted the fabric pre-​washed (for a $ 50 charge) my husband was told, «oh yes, we prewash all of our fabric», then why the $ 50!!!
5)when the slipcovers were finally done, the 100% cotton that I was promised, turned out to be 50%/50% poly cotton. (I remember him trying to sell me on this fabric in the original sales pitch)
So almost $ 800 spent on these covers, after only two months of wear, the fabric is starting to pill all over, and already looks horrible.
Take business elsewhere and spare yourself the disappointment!
