Leo installed our air conditioning 10 years ago, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality. Today when we came home from a trip, the unit wouldn’t run. Of course it was 105 degrees. Leo came out on Father’s Day Sunday to look at our unit. It just needed a service, and is now running fine. His customer service is outstanding, and the work excellent. Highly recommended.

In order to have our flat roof redone, our roofing company (United Roofing) required that we hire someone to move the condenser (so the roofers would have access to the entire area, unimpeded), then have the condenser moved back into place. Our roofer recommend First Choice for the job, so we hired them to do the work. (Leo came to our house and provided us with a free, written, detailed estimate of what needed to be done.) Leo offered to coordinated with United Roofing, which was a big help to us! The work ended-​up being done during the last week of April.
First Choice showed-​up shortly after United Roofing did, and did what they needed to do so the roofers to get their work done. The next day, First Choice returned and moved the condenser back into place and reconnected it to the system. We also hired them to service the condenser, as well as a second condenser we have for a separate A/​C system.
The work went fine, and the tech was very careful to make sure the job was done properly (which it was), and he completely and thoroughly tested the system to ensure it was working properly, once it was reconnected.
Overall, we were very pleased with our experience with First Choice! The work was completed as promised and for the price as quoted. We plan to use them in the future for having both condensers checked on a yearly basis.
We recommend them; since their estimates are free it makes sense to call them. Leo is very professional and is certainly knowledgeable about all matters related to HVAC!

First Choice Air was the best experience with Home Improvement since we moved in a year and a half ago. I have had more than several different companies come to the house for various projects and none were as professional or neat as First Choice. Our old heater took a dive and my A.C. unit was about 30 years old. Well I did an entire replacement of the A. C and Heater/​Forced air unit. The work this company did was Impeccable. And i am very picky. You can trust these folk, they know they’re stuff. Thanks again Guys !

I just had my 20 yrs old central unit replaced. I had a top notch experience with this company. Excellent customer service. The right price. Michael was a total professional and he was personally supervising the crew until the last minute. His team was efficient and fast, and the lady at the office very helpful and courteous. The big competitive companies just gave me bad attitude, stratospheric prices and made me feel anxious and uncomfortable.
Save yourself some aggravation and keep your peace of mind, while feeling you got the right deal. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased Lennox unit for my 3 bedroom house though First choice. My house has old unit Mike was very honest and professional helped me to chose right unit. He always comes up with various options and possible outcomes. It cost me 15k to purchased and entire AC (2stage 5 ton), Heater furriness two attic fans, Bathroom fans installations (Basically entire house environmental system replacement) was finish everything in 3days just like he told me in the beginning. it was little over my budget but he made me comfortable to spend right amount for right unit.

this company is a joke, came out to look at ac unit and was rude and seemed clueless of what he was doing, well besides the fact that he came to inspect the ac unit and showed up with no ladder or flash light, gave the moron a ladder and light and still did not go up to inspect the unit but came up with some bs story that it needs charging and some valve, now that is bs because unit is blowing cold the problem is that it is leaking water and rusted out but dident notice that sense his lazy ass dident take time to go in attic to check it out, i would not waste your money with this clown.

These people are the worst kind of sellers. After spending 5 grand on a new unit for the roof, turning it on and having it freeze up after a few hours, had steam coming out of my ears. After several calls and waiting a week for them to return, and take a look, the fix was simply shut the unit off and wait a few hours for the ice to melt! What they should have done was inform me when installing the new unit, that the unit needed larger intake and out take work. It is a 3 ton unit, and they should have been replaced. l now need to have it fixed to the tune if 1600.00. Their solution was install another unit inside the house! They are rude, and filled with attitude. I would never use them. If you want someone who is trustworthy and knows what they are doing I suggest ESP HEATING AND AIR. They have saved me. Fist Choice? Lets just sat if they were the only choice, I would rather sweat!

Used First Choice Heating and Air in the last two homes we owned. Excellent service, quick response and professional. No need to waste time calling anyone else!

My outdoor condensing unit was not working. I called First Choice who I initially found on the Rheem website. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Leo came out, figured out there was a short and was creative in solving the problem. I would definitely use them again.

Our air conditioner went out on the 4^th of July. Had a contractor over about 5 times replacing different parts and it would work for a day. I got fed up with this after about 6 weeks. I decided it was time for a new system. I got a new air conditioner, new heating furnace, new evaporator coil, and new ducting! I got 7 different bids. I have to say Leo came out, he’s very soft spoken, doesn’t try to scare you or up sell you. He may mention a few things that might help you like a better filter system if you have allergies or pets. He had a no-​frill contract unlike some of the others who try to impress you with their computer generated 15 page reports. I don’t normally go with the least expensive bid, however in this case I really believe I received the same quality units and workers as well. We had 4 men over to the work, each one was polite and would answer any questions we had. They covered our floors and were very careful about how they treated our home. In this day and age it is very hard to find a good contractor who says and does exactly what they promise. If you need heating and air work I would recommend 1^st Choice Air without a doubt. Had a bad full install done at my place. Charged 10g for a 5 ton unit that has poor air circulation and consequently does not cool place effectively. Following install, I called the technician/​contractor/​owner … Leo? He did not want to make any adjustments or spend time troubleshooting without dishing out more cash. I’ve had problems on this units a few times but you can’t rely on him coming out without dishing out money. He charged my a/​c for a price of $ 375??? I had other companies service my unit since and do not provide that bad service and never over charge like this rinky dink joint. Other side note, shady and perhaps unlicensed electricians to their electric work. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Use at your own risk.

Our central AC unit quit working at 4pm on a Saturday. It was during a heat wave and we began calling for service/​repair. After half a dozen calls, all resulting in availability the following Tuesday, we made one more call to First Choice. We were happily surprised that Leo said he would be at our home by 4:45pm that day. We’d been meaning to call for service as our AC had been making horrible noises struggling to turn on, so it was no surprise that we needed a new compressor. Long story short, friendly, respectful, all questions answered cogently, no pressure, with an on time terrific staff, and a system tailored to our needs at a reasonable price that has our home cool and comfortable again. We are thrilled. This company earned our trust. Note to Leo, thanks for giving us the extra time for our own research based on your recommendation.

Had our ac repaired. I was charged $ 345.00 for install of $ 65.00 part. Repair took less than 1 hour. This company takes advantage of season and is outrageously priced. Look elsewhere.

Nice guy, he solve my problem over the phone, anybody else would have charged me hundreds to come and tell me there was nothing wrong with my system, I just had to change the filter

Pleasant and well spoken. He performed a detailed estimate service call for $ 65 which is cheaper than the competition. This would be deducted from the repair.
However, his repair quote was $ 350 parts and labor to replace a capacitor solenoid. This parr is located on the outside of AC unit connected to three wires and attached by a bracket. Easy access and replacement.
I got a second quote at $ 195.
I paid First Choice $ 65 and took the receipt. The information he wrote down on the estimate was illegible so I had to call him 10 minutes later for clarification as to the part needing replacement. He didn’t remember and in the end I had to take my central AC unit apart, photograph the capacitor and text it to the next repairman.
He is a good guy, but i wouldn’t call him again

Had several a/​c companies come out to try and «fix» my a/​c. They all gave me high estimates and told me they could fix my air in a couple of weeks. Mike from First Choice gave me the most reasonable estimate. Once I gave the go ahead, my new a/​c arrived in half the time that the other companies promised. I would highly recommend First Choice. My air works great and the guys that installed it were very professional.

What started out as a bad experience when our thirteen year old central air conditioning went out turned into a really good experience thanks to First Choice.
Their estimate was fair and the work they did wasa bsolutely top notch. All our options were explained to us clearly, there were no silly «add on» costs, and the work was completed on the day promised.
When their installers left it was as if no one had been there except it was cool again!
They had to cut and remove shelving in our closet which leads to the attic to be able to get the coil up there. Not only did they put everything back together so you would not have known they did this, there was not a word about an extra charge for their additional labor.
First Choice really is ours.

My father had recommended this company as he had used them several years ago. I had a new heater/​air conditioner installed by First Choice. The Gas Company came out later that week and said everything was installed well. My only minor problem with First Choice is that they arrived 2 hours later than scheduled. It would have been nice to get a courtesy phone call so I knew they were still planning to do the work on the assigned day. Other than that, I was very happy with the unit I purchased and also the service. I would recommend them.
