Internal Medicine Associates

Been a patient of this group ever since my former doctor in Sherman Oaks started becoming a bit «unstable». My wife has been a patient of theirs for almost 15 years now, but for me it’s only been about 4 years.
The good points;
–Large clean waiting room.
–Punctual appointments, no excessive waiting in the lobby or examination rooms.
–The lab techs are first class. Sunni who takes my blood is a true sweetheart with genuine sense of care.
–Dr.s Rokaw and Rouff are great MDs. I love Rouff’s sense of humor!
–EZ parking, office close to main entrance (important to me), no excessive wandering down halls to get to and from the office.
–Office staff professional and attentive — especially when dealing with appointments.
–NEVER had any billing issues (we do not have insurance, we can pay our med bills without it).
The bad point;
–No accessible WiFi — minor I know, but important when your cell carrier’s signal doesn’t cleanly reach inside their building, and time is money as they say…
I suppose that since I go to the doctor I want and do not rely on insurance companies to tell me what is and is not covered, nor which doctor and/​or specialist I am to see… I am at an advantage to not have a skewed perspective on visiting a doctor in the first place.
Besides, if you are going to review ANY business or professional, you have to have more than 30 reviews to be taken seriously. Of those reviews, they have to be more granular that 50% 5 Stars and 50% 1 Stars as a whole.

I saw Dr. Joshua A. Rokaw in Endocrinology and he is a gigantic PERVERT!!! He kept saying «I’m the guy your Daddy said to stay away from» and «your safe as long as I have on this lab coat»??? When i tried to talk about my symptoms and a diagnosis he got very defensive blaming my primary care Dr. for not doing her job. What???
He ordered a blood test and the first girl stabbed me 2 times and the second girl 1 time and I told them I would be prefer to go to the lab, just to get out of there :(She then wrapped this 2 inch purple tape around and around my arm??? How about a band-​aid babe?
OH MY GOD RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!! THIS IS NOT HOW A PATIENT SHOULD BE TREATED! WE GO TO OUR DOCTORS WITH TRUST THAT WE WILL BE CARED FOR. Animal Medical Center is better than this place. Mothers DO NOT TAKE YOUR DAUGHTERS HERE!!!
