Law Office Of Adam Michael Sacks

I just called this guy, after briefly explaining the problem he asked for my financial situation. Without arranging a meeting or even asking a question about the case he says, «well send me 10k and we’ll work on it.» I wanted to laugh! Ridiculous. I just thanked him for nothing and told him I will call a real lawyer. Don’t waste your time and sorry, but Leykis just lost a listener.

I heard Mr. Sacks on an internet radio station from a radio host that I highly respect and in which he advertises his services. When I called Mr. Sacks to explain my situation to see if I had a case, he was very unprofessional, and attempted to belittle and insult me. The call was a total disappointment and waste of time. I will definitely use another attorney. I should’ve checked out Unilocal before calling him. Needless to say, I DO NOT recommend him at all!

Adam sounds like a nice guy on the Tom Leykis show but when u call him he’s so arrogant and condescending. I told him my problem and he started lecturing me on how I need professional help before he even consulted me.
He was very rude and belittling, u think I don’t feel bad for already having to face the law and u make it worse by talking down on me. My review sounds pretty consistent with these other posts. I would not recommend this guy at all.

I’m a truck driver, got a speeding ticket. Adam Sacks just didn’t reduce my citation like most lawyers do. He wow the the case and I will be receiving back my money for the ticket. Best lawyer I’ve hired!!! Thanks Adam.

Called the him today to ask how to start the process for a divorce and he started to talk to me down I wanted to go through the phone on him but just decided to hang up on him

Adam in my opinion is a arrogant individual. I called him a few months back regarding a divorce. Immediately after less then a minute he starts basically insulting my intelligence. He also asked what is my credit card limit, that is none of his business. Long story short stay away from this guy he will rip you off like he did for one of my friends and he will run and hide behind his legal BS. Get a real professional and not some guy that advertise on the radio/​Internet radio.

I don’t usually post, but was very irritated after speaking with Adam. I’m a P1 listener of Tom and decided to give Adam another call after the show about expungement of records. Spoke with Adam before (I thought months, he says years) but never went through with it. To make a long story short he belittled me in our conversation. To give him the benefit of the doubt, he must get lots of dead beats calling him from the show, but his arrogance was really unnecessary. I was willing to hire him but he said I was irresponsible and should really take a deep look at myself and not waste his time like I did in the past. Wow! I didn’t know asking a question in the past was wasting his time. I thought that’s what attorneys were for? Anyways called another attorney found through Unilocal which answered all my questions and was very helpful.
Thanks Adam… for nothing.

Update: PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU CONSIDER HIRING THIS PERSON.
He threatened to sue me for slander (based on my Unilocal review), which I welcomed. I’m not a lawyer, and based solely on his texts and emails, a judge would laugh him out of a courtroom. So, he complains to Unilocal.
I stand by my original comments as 100% truthful. Unilocal is a great tool, and I would not abuse it.
I can’t imagine anyone being comfortable hiring this attorney. And beware: Attorneys’ reputations precede them to court.
The lawyer I did hire sent him a stem warning and magically my records showed up in the mail a few days later. So lied about destroying them in the first place. Imagine all of your personal data in this guy’s hands. Banking, SSN, c cards… beware.

I had a phone encounter with this lawyer. He berated me for not getting an amount correct. And my last message was deleted probably because everything i wrote was true. Shame that they had to take it down. 1 star rating. Ew

Thank God this guy was a complete A** on the phone when I called to talk to him about helping me with my children’s IEP/​504 plan. He was arrogant, obnoxious and downright rude. Made the choice not to hire him very easy. :-)

I hired Adam to get me out of a carpooling ticket. Initially he does come off a little bull dogish but he gets the job done and knows the law. Hire Adam, he will fight for you and win.

A little quirky, yes, pit bullish, for sure, but boy am I glad this lawyer represented me and not my ex. Adam worked very hard to protect my rights, and help me get the settlement that I deserved. If you’re looking for some boring lawyer to just stand there and shuffle paper, and push off court dates, this is not the guy for you. If you’re looking for someone that will get you more than you expected and come up with creative solutions to the divorce drama. then this is your lawyer. Divorce is a very emotional and unpleasant experience. Sometimes you have to just hand over your problems to an expert and then let them do the job that you hired them to do. I would highly recommend Adam, there is no doubt that he will fight tooth and nail to make sure your interests are protected.

I listen to Adam speak onTom’s radio show all the time (former P1 listener of Tom’s Show). Sounds like he knows what he’s talking about on the radio but, he was not what he seems like when i hired him. As soon as I hired him, Adam immediately became too busy to talk to me about my case. He kept saying he’s getting ready for some important case, but minutes later he was Facebooking and responding to people’s comments. Soon after I felt Adam was incompetent and could not answer some of my questions, I interviewed other attorneys and got all the answers promptly with just the first few minutes. I talked to the attorneys about Adams advise and the other attorneys said that Adam didn’t make any sense. When I question Adam again, Adam said I’m wasting his time. Funny, because I was paying for his time… I told Adam he was fired, and Adam went ballistic and started name calling me like a kindergartner. I felt sorry for him. You would think he was hurting for money or something. Too bad, I thought I was helping out Tom by patronizing his sponsors, but after that experience, I feel that maybe all his sponsors are not what they seem like. Next time, I’ll just buy Tom and his crew a beer (a figurative sponsor on his show where you can donate 5 bucks).
Be aware that his only good reviews on Unilocal sounds fake, and sounds like a line was stolen from the promotional ad on the radio show. The people giving him good reviews are obviously not serious Unilocal reviewers and not experienced. Likely a P1 listener of the show. I’m actually looking out for the rest of the P1 fans here. Trust me fellas, this guy is a hack. Adam knew I was a P1 and still ripped me off.
Adam, if you’re reading this… Like Tom always says on the radio, your name is your destiny. «Adam Sack of Shhh, you know what».
Oh, one more thing, I highly recommend you hire an attorney that’s near your area of residence. I learned from this experience that Attorneys like Adam will charge you for almost everything little thing. Adam will probably make it seem like he’s the only one that can help you with your case. Trust me, Attorneys are a dime a dozen and Adam is no exception.

Thought I would give this person a try after listening to him on a weekly call in show. Be ready, this guy seems to love hearing himself talk. I tried explaining the problem I was having and he kept interrupting me with condescending remarks, telling me things that in his opinion seems like I ‘SHOULD have already known’. The worst part is I kept asking how much he charged, he would not give me his hourly rate or a ballpark of how much it would cost to retain him, he actually asked me how much money I had. I asked, ‘so you will not tell me how much you charge unless I tell you how much money I have?’, he said ‘yes’ — so I hung up. That doesn’t seem ethical to me so I’m filing a complaint.
Bottom line, steer away and spend your money elsewhere.

I would give this jerk a ZERO rating if I could! I had not thought to review him, until I stumbled upon the review by NB (I don’t know the person). Now I wish I had reviewed Sacks sooner because it could have saved him or her from having to go through the ordeal. I read the review and realized that I went through the exact same thing with this jerk! And it made me angry all over again. It’s bad enough that I went through a difficult divorce… this guy took my case and made it MORE stressful and painful than it already was.
I hired this jerk in December of 2012 and expected my divorce to be complete in early 2013. I PAID HIM OVER $ 2000 dollars, which he stated would be the FLAT fee for the entire divorce. Next thing I know he is billing me for other stuff, which I paid. I just wanted to be divorced already! Sacks was rude and condescending in his emails and during phone conversations. Totally unprofessional and inappropriate with his questions. I think that he DOES NOT like women. I was busy dealing with my divorce at the time, moving out of our home, and I HAD CANCER AT THE TIME. This jerk didn’t care: If I didn’t return emails right away, within 24 hours, he called me names and accused me of not being serious about divorcing. I put up with it for a while because I figured that if he was a jerk to ME, than maybe that meant that he could stand up for me in court (My Ex was not being cooperative). That was SO stupid of me. NOT SO. This guy had NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS DOING. By June of 2013 my divorce was STILL NOT completed and I had to hire another lawyer, which cost me MORE MONEY. Sacks REFUSED to refund my money!!! Even though I paid him IN FULL for a divorce he never completed!!! THIS GUY TOOK MY MONEY AND RAN!
Total and complete moron: I hired a real and REPUTABLE lawyer to complete my divorce. She took one look at the paperwork that Sacks filed with the court and pointed out that it was totally WRONG. The forms he used were not even the correct forms!!! Ugh!!! I can not even express how ANGRY and FRUSTRATED I was by this point. I effin’ cried! I loathe this man for putting me through this. DON’T HIRE HIM. He lures you in with the promise of a cheap and quick divorce. I wish I would have paid the money for a REAL lawyer to begin with.
The happy ending: One month after hiring the REAL lawyer (Barbara Zipperman, whom I HIGHLY recommend) I was finally divorced with no issues.
