Business Owner

Ron brings over 25 years of copier experience to Marathon Services, Inc. Since leaving Xerox Corporation in the mid 70’s, Ron successfully created a «secondary» source of Xerox copier sales and service in 1979, with the start of Equipment Brokers Unlimited Inc. Lydick bought and resold high speed Xerox and Kodak copiers to companies at savings of up to 60%. Marathon was formed to provide EBU with re-​manufactured Xerox copiers for resale, and provide their customers an alternative to Xerox Corporation for service.

In 1988, Ron Lydick helped to create the Xerox «Independent Service Industry» and was co-​founder of the National Independent Service Organization. Lydicks efforts helped to bring major changes to the Xerox and Kodak high speed copier business throughout the US, including helping hundreds of thousands of customers save hundreds of millions in service and equipment costs! Today, Ron strives to find solutions to an ever-​changing demographic, using the late technologies available.
