Michael’s Furniture Warehouse

We ordered 2 couches a couple years ago. We decided to look into getting another couch for a spare bedroom. I wasn’t home for the delivery, my boyfriend was, but apparently they couldn’t get it to fit into the elevator… despite the elevator being approx.12 feet tall. The dimensions on the website are slightly different from the actual furniture it turns out. They didn’t offer to take the couch apart or anything. It didn’t fit so that’s it, I guess. The lady said she would refund my card. A week later nothing showed up on my credit card. I called and apparently the lady didn’t do her job because the refund was never processed. I still haven’t received anything. The lady I spoke to on the phone says «It takes 7 business days.» Well technically yes, but it’s taken your business over 2 weeks to do anything at all. My plan was to go back in and pick something else out but after having problems here on 2 different occasions I think I’ll find another place.

Super shopped mattresses & all the salespeople were very helpful! Ended up up buying a mattress AND a new bed, even though we didn’t need one. Was told it would be delivered next weekend. Friday comes, they call us & say the mattress isn’t in, they will deliver NEXT weekend, and will refund delivery for the trouble. Bed & Mattress delivered & assembled, old mattress & springs hauled out by their people — great!
But the next day I’m walking around my pool barefoot & luckily spot a pile of screws & nuts & broken allen wrenches just lying on the ground before I step on it — and it easily could have happened had I not been paying attention! The delivery guys need to clean up a little better — that could have been painful.
All in all — Great mattress, loving it! Bed, a little tall (it looked smaller in the big showroom & it didn’t have a pillowtop on it — with the pillowtop, we literally have to CLIMB into bed!) but well made, well put together, great storage, very beautiful.

WARNING! Do not shop here! The furniture does not match what is in the catalog description. Two weeks ago I ordered some chairs from one of their catalogs. When the chairs came in they ended up having some tacky handles on the back that were not in the description.
I’ve called and spoken to Dolores, Faye & the manager. They refuse to refund me. I’ll be filing a complaint with my credit card company.

Overall great help and friendly people. Very happy with the few furniture items I bought, and the price couldn’t be beat after checking several other furniture stores

This is a great family owned furniture store that is patient to work with you in helping you find what you are looking for. Ask for Ross, she was very helpful w/​my fiancé and I and we will definitely be coming back.

I just recently purchased couches from here and the main reason why I was able to find the exact ones I wanted was because of Arams help. He has such great customer service. Staff is great. Thanks Aram for your help. You truly made our experience worth it. Will recommend.

Went here Memorial Day weekend while sofa shopping on Saturday. I left and came back Sunday but they didn’t have exactly what I wanted. After a suggestion by one of the sales ladies Bruce brought me a catalog they didn’t have the exact color we wanted in stock but the sofa had good quality leather and was made very well. After debating for a while my wife and I were helped by Aram who went the extra mile to special order what we wanted. He even gave us a better price for buying the 3 piece set. That week the sofas were delivered by a polite and efficient crew. After such a good experience it’s obvious why Michaels has been around more then 60 years!

As many mentioned here their service is nice until you place the order. Then everything changes. First of all they never return your call. In my case, I placed my order one month back and the evening before the delivery day I get a call from them saying they can not deliver one item because it is not available. Btw no apologies. Anyways, I offered to choose a different chair but then they said I can choose only a chair for $ 125 whereas the one I bought was worth $ 170. Because they gave me a discount on the chair when I bought it along with other items for $ 2100. In what world that make sense! I asked the manager to call me and nobody called. Next day they delivered other items but no chair. I asked the delivery guy to tell their manager to call me. Again nobody called. Today I called them again no manager. Again no apology but rude tone from the guy.
Btw, the sectional sofa they delivered has two places ripped. Sent pictures to their customer care today.
In short, poor and rude service and lot of hassle.

After 4 days of non-​stop couch shopping, my boyfriend and I ended up at Michael’s Furniture warehouse! First off, the prices here beat every other store we looked at. Luckily we found the couch and coffee table that we REALLY wanted but a little over our budget. One of the sales associates Aram helped us out BIG TIME. He was able to negotiate the price for us and now we’re leaving as happy customers! We’ll definitely be back! And make sure to ask for Aram if you’re ever here!

I went in looking for several furniture pieces for my new townhouse. I was greeted by an associate named Aram. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative on every single item I was interested in. Sure enough, I purchased my dining table set, my couch, my mattress and my coffee table set through him. He was not being pushy or making me buy things I did not even want. In fact, he was being truthful with his opinion on specific brands and material. I was so happy with my purchases that I went back in the second time to add a lamp and TV stand for my place. They have very reasonable prices and very wide selection. I recommended my brother and sister to check this place out and go to Aram for services, and they did! Thank you Aram for helping me out! I am very happy with how everything came out!

I fell for the cute commercials when I was looking for a couch years ago. I bought a couch from Michael’s that broke down after a few months. I went back and they ordered me new couch cushions. These broke down in a few months as well. I went back again and this time I just got jerked around by a Michael’s representative. Finally I was just given foam and I was expected to stuff inside the covers I still had. I was upset about how I was being treated when I noticed that Michael was standing behind me. He said nothing, did nothing and couldn’t have cared less about my concerns.
I need a couch right now, and I live less than a mile from Michael’s and I refuse to even browse there. It has been about 10 years since I bought that couch from Michael’s. He thinks less overhead means selling cheap furniture.

Very junky furniture with high pressure sales people. I would be so humiliated seeing one of their tagged up delivery trucks pulling infront of my home.

Ok I really wanna give 5 stars cause the initial sales people were amazing yet the customer service and delivery afterwards…
I went in to get a couch about a week before thanksgiving. After being shown 3 styles I found the perfect match only hated the color. I was told I could choose any color only it would be an additional fee and that the delivery time would be 3weeks away. I moved on the 15^th of November and was told that I would get my couch sometime around the 5−9^th of December. Okay not too long. Well let’s just say the 9^th turned into more like the 19^th!!! I complained and asked for help from a Lisa and another sales associate seeing it was the holidays and I had to push back several things because I had no place to sit. I was told that I would get free delivery for my trouble only I said it wasn’t good enough and asked for 10−20% of in addition to the free delivery…
Ross I believe is the person who left me a message on the 18^th saying she was the owner and well the message was a complete joke! I called back to talk to her and never received a call back after the 18^th from her only one on Saturday 19^th while at work (I’m a stylists and it was Christmas rush) saying delivery was on its way. I had my dad at the apartment and long story short they refused to leave the couch until my father paid $ 40 out of pocket to the delivery company to get it in my apartment! It could of got in the door but they wouldn’t take the legs off and they decided to put it over my balcony. When the delivery guy himself called me he told me he is a third party not a worker of michaels and that he was gonna throw my couch over the balcony… excuse me! Well the couch is in yet my bill never reflected a credit for the delivery nor did I receive a discount for all the trouble just an extra $ 40 out of pocket cash so I could sit on a couch and not the floor. I need a bedroom set to complete my new place as well as odds and ends only I refuse to be treated so horribly!

Horrible!!! I purchase a bedroom set recently and let just say I haven’t had good night sleep. The bed frame did not come with any support at all!!! It comes with 3 skinny wood panels to support the mattress… That’s it!!! It feels like I’m going to fall
Few weeks later the panels started breaking… I’m now stuck with $ 500 bed frame and I can’t even sleep comfortably and have to spend more money try to make it work put some support in the bottom… I might have gained weight but I’m only $ 130 lbs sleeping by myself in my queen bed! Tells a lot about the quality of the product!!!
Never coming back… Though the products looks good, quality is horrible!!! I wish I can give — stars!!!

Completely awful customer service!
First off the sales «man» that initially helped us was extremely obnoxious to say the least.
Went to the warehouse to purchase a sofa for the holidays. Saw one and decided to order it in a different color then the one displayed in the showroom. The sales man indicated that delivery would be on a the following Friday which inconveniently got changed at the last minute due to «insufficient drivers». They decided to reschedule us four days later which they then cancelled on the day we were finally expecting our sofa.
Their excuses both times were ridiculous at best and we sadly had to cancel our couch and look else wear. Horrible way to run a so called family business…

the hubby and I just bought our 1^st house and we wanted a sectional sofa we have seen the tv commercials many times so we went here and they made our sectional four us in the color we wanted in the design we wanted and delivered and set it up. We love it it’s soon comfy… when were ready for something else we will be back.

Buyers beware! You’re better off going to a different place. Yes, they offer «no sales tax,» but just save your money and get better quality furniture at a much friendlier place. The people here were not very nice and attentive. I came here early one morning to get what I needed quick! There were several people working that day, and not one approached me. I literally waited there while everyone was watching TV. I asked this one guy for help, and he told me to wait for this girl to get out of her office. I literally had one simple question, and that was to find the location for all their beds; that same guy I asked was the one who was instructed to show me where it was.
Finally, after I decided what I wanted, they told me that my bed was going to be delivered in a week. It actually took them a whole MONTH! Each week would pass by and they would call me telling me that «the bed hasn’t been delivered to their warehouse.» The least they could have done was give me my delivery fee back. I was so angry!
Delivery day finally came by, and it happened to be a very hot day. I offered the delivery guys water and they ask me if I had any beer! Now, I don’t know how many businesses allow drinking alcohol while working, but I’m pretty sure they shouldn’t have been because they were driving and doing deliveries!
Just a warning to everyone, please save your money and go somewhere better. Some people may have had some good experiences, but a lot of people didn’t.

Buyer Beware.
We purchased a cherry wood bed for an eldery family member moving in. Picked it up at the warehouse and double checked with the worker it was the correct item. Got it home the day of move in only to find it was in fact the wrong item. They refused delivering the correct item. When going back to pick up the correct item, They were rude and just stand around watching TV passing us off to multiple workers (when they’re is much cleaning they could be doing, the place is filthy). Next time we’ll go to Hotel Liquidators.

Buyer beware!
My wife and I purchase 2 sets of sofas and love seats as well as end tables and sofa table and a wine bar. It took Michael’s furniture 4 times to deliver our furniture because twice we received damage goods. They were good about replacing it but it has been 3 months and the quality of the furniture is less than desirable. The wine bar is falling apart. The counter top is pealing. I guess you get what you pay for!
