History

Established in 1958.

National Helicopter Service is the original Helicopter Charter, Tour, and Aeriel Cinematography service in Los Angeles. In 1958 we worked with KTLA 5 to create the worlds first News Helicopter named the Telecopter. We’ve worked on thousands of engineering projects from Laying Cables for Mammoth Mountain’s chair lifts, Helicopter Ski Lifts, Freeway and infrastructure projects and more. Today National Helicopter service prides itself on it’s flawless safety record, engineering triumphs and amazing helicopter rides over Los Angeles and Southern California.
