During finals I became so frustrated with my laptop that I smacked it around a few times until it decided not to work for me anymore. I took it here to see what the damage was. For a reasonable service fee he diagnosed the problems for me and crunched the numbers all in less than 2 hours. In the end I decided not to get it serviced, but I thanked him for guiding me on figuring out what the fate of my laptop is. His repair prices were really reasonable and competitive. I would not hesitate to come to him again for any of my computer needs.

This shop is fantastic. In a panic when my daughters laptop stopped working I called around and this was the only shop that answered my phone call. It was very late at night but the shop owner said he will see what he can do for her. She had her final the next day and all her research was in her computer with no back up! I was very impressed by his caring and understanding that this kind of things do happen. Needless to say he spent the next 4 hours going all over the laptop, he was able to save her final research paper with a great advise to always backup important material. He never charged extra for after hour work. After this episode i used this stores for first purchasing a new laptop, then for other technical questions. He is always willingly available. PC Tech is the only place I would refer for a honest job.

Excellent staff. My computer wouldn’t start and now not only does it work but David has fixed the update function which could have a billion solutions. When I asked him to recommend certain purchases he was very helpful and I am happy about that because it saves me a lot of time. Then when I go online to research or see how they work I realize it was a great decision. David is concerned about doing the right thing and the reputation of the business.
I was considering buying a new computer versus investing in my older one but the new one’s have a totally different interface and my concern is to be familiar with things and get going. Plus, the way my computer is designed is comfortable; it’s just a nice design; I knew it the second I saw it; and for what you will spend you should feel that way or not buy… also if they aren’t at Costco it can turn into a real time consuming project.
So, I was able to do everything I needed to on time. With their skills and experience it’s the place to go. I’ve decided to live with my computer and the investment to fix it over purchasing was worth it because it was what I wanted.

Service was great! Farzad’s technical support is extremely appreciated. Finished my PC within 4 hrs. Will come back again if there are any additional issues.

My computer got a nasty virus, 3 days before my wedding.
I am not the best owner, and all of my wedding information was imprisoned on my hacked computer and inaccessible.
After two experts told me my PC was «unsalvageable» my fiancé found Eman down the street.
Not only did he salvage EVERYTHING, he replaced my screen which has been broken since 2009, all for under the price of what the previous experts quoted to charge me just to look at it.
Also, he did this all in under 24 hours, and with utter kindness, acceptance and professionalism.
He is the best.

They diagnosed the problem while I waited. Then they explained things thoroughly, patiently and very courteously before doing the repairs on my computer. Afterwards, they told me how to prevent the problem in the future. They fixed my computer within 3 to 4 hours. And, the price was very reasonable.

I had a serious problem with a computer (IBUYPOWER) and after the company told me that the only solution was to buy a new computer because they no longer made parts or even kept records on the one I had paid a couple of thousand dollars for five years ago I started hunting through Unilocal and came across PCTECH.
I was amazed at how many customers thought Eman and his team were computer gods. Somewhat dubious, I called Eman. His place kind of looked like a hole in the wall but it was only a few miles away.
The one thing that all the tech support people at IBUYPOWER told me was that my motherboard had a damaged sound card. IT COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. There was a thin chance that if I went to the right place and got lucky — someone who knew a great deal about computers (Think Bill Gates) «might» find the right sound card and a workaround could result. I was on the phone with them for about two hours.
Anyway, I took the computer to Eman and he asked me several questions and said — «your Windows needs to be reinstalled.»
«And then can you find a sound card for me?»
Eman said that fixing Windows would cure the motherboard. At that point he had not turned on the computer or opened it up. I figured he might be mentally unbalanced but he seemed quite sure of himself.
He quoted me $ 120 and said he would have my computer ready in 12 hours. «And, if it doesn’t work and I have to buy a sound card, how much will you charge me?» I asked.
«$ 35 and you’ll have Windows reinstalled and your computer will run about five times as fast as it does now. This computer should be good for another ten years if you keep it clean and do regular maintenance on it. It does not need a sound card.»
«Got yourself a deal,» I said. Now to be honest, I figured that since I had to buy a new computer anyway, if Eman told me he couldn’t fix it and charged me $ 35 I would just run out the door and he could keep the stupid thing.
I came back the next day and the sound worked perfectly. The computer ran better than the day I got it and I saved about $ 2,000.
I am in a state of shock.

I lost valuable data from my computer taking a dump on me. I went to two different computer repair places that claimed they can recover my data. Neither one could until I came here. Eman was able to create magic. Awesome location off Van Nuys and Oxnard. 5-​stars here all the way around.

This place is THE BEST!!! Whenever I have a problem with my laptop, or ANY electronic for that matter, the guys there WILL fix the problem FAST and at a GREAT price. EVERY TIME I have a computer problem, that’s my place. If you have a computer problem, GO THERE. They have the BEST PRICE, they WILL GET IT DONE FAST, AND they are EXTREMELY FRIENDLY!!!

I don’t who the complainer is below who thought she could get PCTech to make her computer work for her without slipping them a few bucks, but ignore her.
These guys were great! My power pack died on my desktop. Based on the first Unilocal review I saw here, I called and talked to Eman, the boss. I told him what the problem was and he said «No problem,» told me he could fix it in 15 minutes while I waited and quoted me a price.
I drove over to the small shop on Van Nuys and Eman couldn’t have been nicer. Fixed my computer in 15 minutes, charged me exactly what he quoted and I was on my way home.
PCTech is great. I drove twenty minutes out of my way to avoid a store 1 minute from where I live because they … just never felt right. PCTech felt right; Eman and his techie were knowledgeable, fun to talk with and did the job they promised. Go there…

My power dc jack on my netbook broke and needed to be replaced. Fortunately I am experienced in computer repair so after ordering and receiving a replacement power jack, I set to fix it but somehow the precision screwdrivers I had weren’t cutting it and I needed five more screws out to get to the motherboard. In need of some assistance, I picked this place out trusting my fellow Unilocalers. Boy, was I in for a surprise.
I called this place and after explaining that I just needed a few screws out, I was told, «No problem, just come by.»
Excited to hear they would help me out, I picked up my netbook at home and went straight to this repair shop to finally get those darn last screws removed.
After waiting a minute or two (there was one person in front of me) I let them know when it was my turn what I was there for. As soon as I told them, one of their guys quickly grabbed a couple of their screwdrivers and went straight to work. It took only 10 seconds to take them out, and at first I was really happy and thankful that they helped me out. What kind people, my fellow Unilocalers were right! Oops, WRONG.
Next thing I know, the guy asks me for payment. «What payment? All you did was remove a few tiny screws,» I said.
Them: «No, we did work for you, so you must pay us.»
Me: «Really? I thought you were just helping me out, it was only five screws. Plus, you never said anything about a charge.»
Them: «No, we spent time helping you, so you owe us money.»
Me: «Those few seconds, really? Why didn’t you warn me before?»
I couldn’t believe it. He never warned me about the cost of removing five screws, which I wouldn’t had agreed to because I could’ve just gone to a store and bought another set.
Nonetheless, he insisted on immediate payment and after telling him I refused to pay because of his miscommunication, he actually threatened to call the police. REALLY?!
We argued more and more until I finally gave him $ 6, the only cash I had. Unbelieveable. This place is run by the rudest guy on the planet, and I will NEVER go to this place again.

Eman saved my life and my business this week! I was in a complete panic when my HP laptop was suddenly infected with a virus and I couldn’t access any of my documents. I chose PC Tech based on Unilocal reviews and because it was close to my home. Eman was calm and reassuring, telling me that he deals with virus removal all the time and that he would be able to restore my computer with «no problem.» He finished the job in less than four hours, including installing Kaspersky anti-​virus software and also running a full scan of my backup external hard drive to make sure it wasn’t infected, too. I hope that I don’t need PC Tech agaun anytime soon, but I recommend them if you have a computer emergency like I did.

Excellent service, reasonable rates, friendly and communicative. As a newbie in the neighborhood, I was relieved and delighted to find PCTech. My PC crashed and they had it up and running in a day; it continues to behave very nicely.
