The pumps are often out of service or cash only.
It is often impossible to get the pump to accept the Ralph’s discount by keying in alt number. Pump will say unavailable.
Most often and more so lately there is no receipt paper in the pump forcing me to go inside and when asking why the pumps are out of paper the person there just shrugs.
I’ve given up of Shell and the gas discount as this location has raised their prices beyond and]y savings. Now I just go to Arco.

Im not a fan of gas stations that offer pay at pump, and when you want your receipt you have to go inside. What is the point of me paying at the pump if Ill have to go inside for my receipt. Ive tried it three times, strike it’s out!

Most of the time the pumps are either out of order, or their credit card readers are broken. This used to be a fairly cheap gas station — but not only has it gotten more expensive lately, but also very dirty and badly maintained…

The place is disgusting, I always have a bad experience here, the pumps never work, the guys don’t even speak English at the register, they’re no help. They should tear this gas station down and build another. It’s a disgrace to Shell.

DONT EVER USE YOUR CREDIT CARD HERE unless you want it stolen I am not kidding. About two months ago I have used my debit card at this station. Next day I found out that someone is trying to use it I went guru hell to streghten that mess I have been coming here for years but lately I noticed that the mgmt changed or something and the latest one is I have tried to fill 91. And the pumper kept throwing out. And this was not just one occasion at least 3 times it happened so I went to the clerk and I asked what wrong with your 91 don’t you have any in the tank? And he had the guts to tell me that it’s my cars problem that my cars tank is full. Well let me tell you that’s not true. I was most going to take it to the dealer thinking my car had a problem. So I decided to try at another gas station and guess what? I had no problem. Very dishonest people here. And few times I have seen suspicious looking people hanging around there. Makes me uncomfortable. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN

I just went to fill up my tank here because I know they do the Ralph’s fuel rewards. I swipped my card and it said I earned 20 cents off per gallon which I was thrilled about but the second I started pumping gas, the hose started to leak all over my hands. It was broken at the nozzle connection.
I went inside and notified the gas station attendant and he couldn’t care less — I told him he should put an out-​of-​order sign up at the very least and he laughed and shook his head.
What a rip off! I paid for the gas that landed on the cement and they did nothing to make it right.
I would NEVER go to this gas station again.

I only use this gas station and I only use my shell master card here and don’t use it for anything else. In the last three months TWICE somehow someone got ahold of my credit card number, made their own card and went on a massive spending spree. Fortunately I got the fraud alert calls and was able to stop the thieves. There is no way my card was compromised except by my using it at this particular gas station. Will not be going there anymore. Beware! Last incident was yesterday.

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Pumped gas last weekend and my card info was stolen to pay for DMV tags. It said DMV CARTAGZ on my statement for $ 127.10. A company in Northern California. Called the 800 & 916 area code number on statement and it says that MAIL BOX IS FULL!!! Card was used at the pump when I put gas in the car. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAS STATION!!!

I went to fill my gas tank. My tank’s capacity is 14.5 gallons. Their meter read 15.3 gallons. I asked for a refund of the discrepancy. They told me that was not possible. I could call the owner.
So basically I got ripped off. When ever I see shady stuff like this, I wonder, what other shady stuff is this business doing?
To summarize: buy gas here if you want to have your money stolen and your intelligence insulted.

Dangerous curb that should be yellow is a deceitful-​looking grey. It blends into the sidewalk. Watch out!
Another negative: the dried-​up bins for their window washers.
Finally, it’s a grubby place.

I don’t like the fact that you can’t pump gas after 10pm. Sometimes I’m out at night and I like to fill up for the work week at night instead of having to wake up earlier in order to hit a gas station on my way to work. I also tried paying with a prepaid Visa last week and the cashier told me they don’t take gift cards which I thought was weird.

I have patroned this gas station for some time, and like the other viewers stated, this one and the one on Victory/​Woodman seem to always have the best prices. However, today’s actions warrant a review. At 4:05 pm on a Tuesday, while my wife was midway through pumping… a worker came out… canceled the transaction and stated they were closed. He then proceeded to do the same to another woman in the middle of pumping her gas. No explanation… no apology… just stopped the gas and walked limped away.

everytime i drive and pass by a gazillion gas stations with their high marked gas prices, i always think .“man. if its 10 cents higher here that means Woodmans Shell Gas Station MUST be about 15 cents lower” and chaCHING! I’am correct.
Just today gas prices there were displayed at 3.39 lowes ahum *make it 3.27!!* ANOTHER edit: its now at 2.99!!* t, a 76 gas station blocks away had an embarrassing 3.59 as their lowest. CMON! You can’t beat that!
I love this gas station and you’ll see me pull in with my little blue car at night to avoid traffic in the afternoon.

I agree this is the cheapest gas in the Valley along with the Lankershim/​Victory location, which is up the street from me. This location is on the way to work and the pumps are state of the art. The only bad thing is that the traffic can be a tad tricky around the area, so be alert and careful.

OK I am about to tell you a secret.
The lowest price on gas can be found here. As I drive around my small neck of the woods this station consistently has the lowest prices.
I pass by on my way to work in the morning, so it is very convenient for me. Minus one star cuz I like to have gas stations I can walk inside to get a snack or something. Oh well. No one is perfect.
