Henry is the best guy around! If you need a smog check go see this guy! He is friendly. He kicks butt! Clean quick honest and reasonably priced. If you have questions or just want to talk he’s there to answer and talk cars. He knows all the rules for the DMV and follows them. He’s not just a smog guy in the valley he is the best smog guy in the valley. Go by see for yourself. Tell Henry I sent ya ;-).

If you need a smog check for your car, come here. Henry is fast, doesn’t charge much, and will help your car pass it’s smog test. One time he gave us a new gas cap for our car which helped us pass, and every time we go in he checks that all the sensors are functioning properly before testing the emissions. Fair, honest, personable business, and good at getting your car in and out. Even on the days we had to wait, it wasn’t very long at all.
He speaks a bunch of different languages and has a board in the office where you can sign a greeting from your home country.
Great service and he’ll send you off with a smile.

I have been coming here for years to get my car smog checked. Henry always offers me a discount off the posted price — and gives me cards to pass out to my friends if they too want the discount. I am usually in and out of there under a half an hour even if there are people in front of me. I highly recommend him for Smog Checks.

SO I WENT HERE, KNOWING MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS GOING ON AND OFF. He told me that it was free with a re-​test… What? So when it doesn’t pass because of a check engine light problem, he tells me that as soon as my check engine light clears he will give me my smog test proof. I paid 50 dollars for a problem he knew existed. Thieves!!!

Fantastic service. Very friendly and honest guy. He will do everything he can to ensure you pass. He has a whiteboard with customer compliments that is completely filled to the point people are writing underneath and on the metal edges. Tough to fake this kind of thing. Heck, I signed up for Unilocal just so I could give him 5-​stars. Highly recommended.

Very accessible at the Valero gas station. Very friendly (Henry) and FAST. Coupon online $ 40.00 total or $ 50 without it.(Plus $ 10 for a new gas cap.)
I tried to go to smog zone but it was too dirty, crowded and difficult to get in the driveway. So I found this place right on Woodman and Victory and boy am I glad. Took 10 minutes and I was done.

Great place, great guy. This is not a mechanic shop, smog only… your not going to go here and get ripped off and then have them try to sell you parts or labor, etc. This place does smog and smog only… as far as I could see. The guy who works here does a fantastic job. I was in and out in 10 minutes. He verbally honored the coupon from his website, all I paid was $ 40.00 cash. Bring CASH and make sure to mention the special. Ask around you cannot get a smog check+ dmv certificate, etc for $ 40.00, but you can HERE. People who are complaining about the fees etc should check around, it costs $ 60 to $ 80 dollars at other locations. I would recommend this location. I got what I paid for. Good luck.

I’m writing this review just so I can give this place five stars and balance out the bad reviews below — He honored the $ 29.95 online coupon, no questions asked. In fact, he saw it in my hand and mentioned it before I did.
He was friendly, polite, fast (I was on my way in 10 minutes), inexpensive (total $ 40 even), and I would recommend this place to anyone.

$ 49.75 to smog a Camry? Plus $ 8 certificate fee? Thank goodness the proprietor offered my girlfriend an *instant discount* of $ 10 after I incredulously exclaimed «Jesus!» when he broke the price to us. Yes, it’s totally legal to overcharge in America, but that doesn’t mean you’ll win high Unilocal reviews! The high prices just make me wish that we’d woken up earlier. If we had, we would’ve visited Joe the «Smog Prodigy» on Burbank and Vineland. If you go to this Woodman shop, when you hear of the cost, my recommendation is that you scream bloody murder until the proprietor knocks off $ 10. Then, and only then, you’ll kinda feel like you’ve caught a bargain while you’re actually still getting screwed.

Well, my tag is expiring soon and I had to get a Smog Check in order to get my Registration. Good thing, there was a Smog Test Only Location near my home. Originally, I found this location on the internet. I found this website:
. I didn’t know that this Valero Station had a Smog Check.
The coupon on the website is no longer valid for $ 29.75. However, Henry, the Owner, still gave a good deal of $ 39.95. Just $ 10 less. However, I did fail the Gas Cap, which explained why I have been losing at least 1−2mpg every fillup. Henry sold me a Gas Cap for $ 10. So, I ended up paying the original price, but not really wasting time to go to another store and driving back and paying another fee to re-​test.
Henry is a great person and very trustworthy. If you are going here for the first time, tell him Ryan sent you, and get the $ 10 discount. While you wait, look at his credentials and a special whiteboard. The whiteboard is very special and you will understand why he is Trustworthy.
I would’ve given him 5 stars, but I wanted to pay the $ 29.75, but got the $ 39.75.lol. So, I ended up paying $ 60. The certificate is $ 8.25. The Electronic Tranfser Fee is $ 2.00 and I paid the Gas Cap for $ 10.
If you have an old car and probably have a Gas Cap that is 5 years old, replace it at Kragen or AutoZone and save a few bucks. This station is at the Valero Station near the former Circuit City Store. Henry is a great person and Highly Recommended.
