Valley Carpet One

Needed to get carpet installed ASAP before putting our house on the market. Stopped in on Thursday night and they were in the house to install some pieces they already had on hand Monday morning. Did a great job!
Only reason it isn’t five stars is when I initially called, the young lady I talked with said there was no way they could turn something around that quickly. Thankfully I’m persistent and don’t like taking no for an answer. :)

I was happy with everything from variety of selections, to Tyler’s recommendations for our specific needs, to the pricing and to the installation. The installers arrived on time and did a thorough job. They removed the old carpet, vacuumed up the old powdery matting, used anti-​microbial spray on the sub-​floor, and then laid the new carpet. It looks great. They even vacuumed it before they left so it was move in ready. There were no surprises or additional charges. The whole transaction was professionally handled and went smoothly.

This is my 1ST time on Unilocal but I just had to take the time to say how impressed I was with Kris Kreeger at Valley Carpet One from the time I walked into the store to the impeccable job that was done on the hardwood floors and carpet they installed. Kris was just on top of it and he made sure you were happy. I would highly recommend Valley Carpet and be sure to ask for Kris.

Josh helped us get an asbestos check. Then, when the asbestos removal was complete, more was removed than had been expected, but they quickly adjusted and provided the extra materials and labor that was required. Mauricio did an excellent job installing it.

They were great from beginning to end. They helped us select the carpet we wanted in our price range. They did a great job installing. Their service was exceptional, very professional. We highly recommend them. Thank you Josh Boyd for all your help.

I LOVE this company!!! I came across Valley Carpet One while browsing online for carpet. I came across the webpage and I sent a request for a quote. I immediately got a quick response back from Kris Kreeger. He was an amazing help and super friendly!
He helped me pick out the type of carpet by bringing over samples, and was very knowledgable about each type and was also very accommodating to my schedule and on time!!! Helped me save money by making sure they laid the carpet in the rooms with little waste.
I was moving in to a new house and was hoping to have the carpet in before we moved in. Kris made it happen! He wasn’t sure that it was possible to get the order in that fast, but he pulled some strings and was able to make it happen before we moved in! SUPER happy with the outcome and with all the incredible help Kris gave me.

I would definitely recommend Valley Carpet One – I only needed one kid’s bedroom re-​carpeted. Their selection was great and I was able to find something that perfectly matched the color scheme. Tyler was very helpful– they offer competitive pricing and customer service was very willing to help when I had a couple questions/​issues. I also appreciate that they were responsive via email, that is hard to find in some of these businesses.

The quality and range of products and the extraordinary customer service have earned Valley Carpet One the highest ratings in my book! The sales staff, installation team and manager who coordinated everything could not have been more helpful, courteous and knowledgable. I am an Interior Designer and have been on the hunt for a flooring company that met all my requirements: price, install, selection, and customer service. Not only does Valley Carpet One meet my requirements, they excel in all areas!
I initially found them on Unilocal,and wandered in one day while running errands (mainly Target). I met Tyler and he helped with a project I was working on. He was very patient as the client and I went back and forth (for months), and never pressured me for the sale.
After finally making a selection, we were ready for install. Mauricio, Arturo, and Josh were AMAZING. They were respectful of my clients condo, neighbors, and building. Their cuts and attention to detail were more than I could ask for.
Since my initial project with Valley Carpet One, I continue to bring my clients here. They are my go to flooring company, and as a designer, that is saying something.

Amazing customer service and competitive pricing.
We recently purchased a new home and needed new carpet before we moved in. The time window to measure and install was only 2 weeks. Josh was extremely helpful and made it happen within week. We also shopped around and received 3 other estimates. Valley Carpet was the same price but for a superior product. We noticed that there was a defect in the carpet in one of the bedrooms. After contacting Josh, they replaced it the following week at no additional cost.

I purchased a carpet for my rental property from Carpet One in November, 2011. They sold me a cheap, and a bad quality carpet for three times the price that was worth. Within three months the threads came off of the carpet in different areas. I complained several times, and finally the last people that they sent to inspect the carpet told my renter that there is nothing that can be done. It is a cheap carpet. I paid over $ 2000 for a small one bedroom condo. I asked Josh Boyd for replacement of the carpet in the living room only. After four months of run around he refused to replace it, and blamed it on my tenants’. They said, it’s a rental place, and that’s why it happened.
Don’t shop from them. They are over priced, and they don’t take responsibility for their products.

I can’t say enough positive things about Valley Carpet One. I went into the store based on positive reviews on Angie’s List and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I can tell you that all of the positive reviews were dead on. I needed new carpeting for two bedrooms. I was greeted shortly after I walked in and was told to look around to get an idea of styles I liked. They did not pressure me at all for sales and were available immediately if I had questions.
Once I had an idea of the styles I like, I gave them my price range. I was on a budget and had my concerns, but Valley Carpet One is priced so competitively that I was able to get carpeting that was much nicer than I anticipated. They were able to work around my hectic schedule and came out on a weekend with samples, took measurements and give me an incredible quote.
The carpet installation was done a week later and it could not have gone smoother. The guys who installed the carpets were real pros and could not be nicer. My floors look amazing, feel amazing, and I have had so many compliments about them. I feel like I found that hidden treasure of a place. I would go back to Valley Carpet one for all my flooring needs and would recommend them to everyone.

i cannot say enough good things about this company. they have been immensely helpful in working with me to resolve damage that occurred in my house after a pipe burst in the wall of my bathroom. shower pipe to be clear.
anyway, we are in progress on a lot of work. but i wanted to post a big, big shout-​out for the badass tile job in my bathroom!

tyler and josh were my first contact with your company and they have been excellent to date.
mauricio who does the actual tile work = impeccable workmanship and professionalism. he knows his field and it shows in the finished product. there were literally no missteps or waste of product. clean work area and absolutely perfect clean-​up of the work area. i could not be happier.

While researching prices for laminate flooring and installation, we didn’t think it’d be a good idea to go to a store like this one because we mistakenly thought the prices would be higher, instead we contacted Empire, and HomeDepot.
We had signed an agreement with Empire already (very pushy sales pitch) and the next day, on our way to Petco for some supplies, decided to just go in the CarpetOne store and find out pricing since we were already there. We were very impressed with the quality of their materials, and the great amount of time the guys took to show us and explain everything to us. Their prices were competitive with Empire, and we just liked the fact that they were not pushy, and even gave us a chance to take some samples home to be able to see how they look in the room (Empire couldn’t leave a sample for us). The guys even offered to visit us at home and give us a quote, knowing we had already hired someone else. We accepted and were so happy with their materials and customer service, that we decided to cancel the other agreement, and hired them instead!
When we contacted Empire to cancel, they decided to go about $ 800 down in pricing, it was hard to say no, but honestly the materials, customer service, and non-​pushy sales pitch from CarpetOne were a very big deal for us, and also the fact that we knew we were helping a small business in the area. It was hard to turn down the $ 800 discount at Empire, but we would have preferred they gave us that price at the beginning and not just offer it because we wanted to cancel the order. Ethics is a big thing for us too. Overall, we’re very happy with our laminate flooring, the installation only took one day, and the customer service at CarpetOne was excellent, they even called the next day to follow-​up and make sure we were happy with the installation. Excellent, we would recommend them to anybody in the area. Please support small businesses!!!
