Van Nuys Hubcaps & Wheels

I was due for a tire change and I decided to have my wheels refurbished at the same time. Scott let me have the new tires delivered to their shop and mount them after they worked on my wheels at no extra cost. They have really good experience with their customer service and the quality of their work.

Super AWESOME guys. I don’t ever leave reviews but my service was worthy. I’ll return with all my rim and tire needs.

Seven months later, have never heard back from the business regarding my review. (I do realize I’ve only reviewed a couple of places, so Unilocal suppresses reviews, until it knows I’m an actual, legitimate person. So, my review was there, but it wasn’t on the main page, and you had to go seek it out.)
After having to alter my ad to say that my wheels had blemishes, I did finally sell them a few months later. I didn’t get the amount I wanted for the wheels, but in the grand scheme of things all is well. They’re sold. I’m still kind of surprised I never heard anything back.
If I could post my pics on just my review, I would. But I’m not looking to rub things in by posting my pictures of my blemished wheels on this company’s overall Unilocal page. If you want pics of what happened in my situation, let me know. Will be happy to forward.

This spot came as the biggest surprise! Not only were they very well priced and and the service was impeccable and fast, but they were very polite and friendly to boo! I met the owner, steve and it all made sense– he was a complete delight!

Great prices and service! Bo the dog is there to greet you with a contented smile. Busy shop, so be sure to yell «Hello» (loudly) when you walk in-​or else you may be waiting for a while. Located in glamorous and exciting Van Nuys. What more do you want from a hubcap shop?

These guys were great. Wheel looked amazing. Price was fair and reasonable. Great workmanship on a unique finished rim that other vendors didn’t have the machinery (CNC machine) to complete. Knowledgeable and quality oriented. Highly recommend.

You guys never advised me to not repair the wheel, and why would you when it’s not good for business? I asked if you could repair the wheel and you agreed to it and charged $ 110 for it and it didn’t hold up more than a couple weeks. If you can’t repair something, don’t even offer to repair it, and especially don’t get snappy when I tell you that I feel like I threw $ 110 down the drain. I ended up spending $ 90 on a new wheel somewhere else, so how was trying to get it repaired trying to save money? I was trying to keep original parts and integrity of my car, and you guys should have advised against that. This is what you do for a living and you should have known better, but you didn’t, and I lost money to you because of it.

Hit a curb on freeway onramp took a chunk out of my factory bmw wheel. Tried to have one of the mobile service fix but they said damage was too bad to fix and recommended van nuys wheel. Dropped off the tire/​wheel had it back 2 days later as good as new. $ 125 to repair and remount and balance tire. Highly recommend these guys.

These guys were fantastic. I needed a wheel, and I worked for two days with them. They follow up, and they’re extremely helpful. Ended up getting a great deal on the wheel, and they even mounted my tire on the wheel at no charge. I’ve got plenty more business coming their way. Thanks to Scott for the great service.

Hands down a great professional business.
I got my wheels refinished in black. I wanted it flat but Scott recommended to go semi gloss as that is less delicate.
The wheels look amazing. It was done in the the time promised and the price was great as well.
I ended up having to replace a tire that had some extremely small holes in it. So small that it did not bubble in the water tank. Soap slowly brought them out.
Carlos was patient to check till he found the issue, the new tire was fair priced and all is perfect.
Carlos and Scott both with whom I came in contact have great knowledge and do great work.

i walked into this place looking for some wheel covers and while being there, most of the costumers were rude, and had a sense of entitlement as if they owned the place.
Prices are reasonable, but the inventory is quite vast, not also this but Scott was beyond helpful and very attentive, and if something is not there, he’ll do his best to look it up and order it.
I highly recommend this place, as for those low star reviewers … You WILL be treated the way you TREAT others.

Watch these guys! I have purchased 2 Corolla wheel covers from them this year for $ 50. Today I called for another one and they tell me the price is now $ 75.
Giving them the benefit of doubt that they may have made a mistake I call and talk to Scott the owner who is very impatient and abruptly tells me he’ll call me back. Still waiting for that call!

This is the second time in less than 6 months that I’ve had to replace a hubcap on my 2006 Corolla (don’t ask, I couldn’t tell you). The owner, Scott was beyond friendly and helpful both times, and his prices are much lower than the dealers’.
