Vanowen Advanced Imaging

I wish I could give them 0 stars I would.
My appointment was at 12:30, I arrived at 12:32. I waited behind 3 patients at the reception desk. The first patient took a while because she kept asking the receptionist questions. By the time it was my turn which was 10 minutes later I had to fill out the paperwork as well and pay a $ 233 deductable from my credit card. It was now 12:50,
The rude technician called me back, told me to do something and I repeated what she said cause I couldn’t understand her and she yelled at me and said «NO». So I got up on the bed to get ready for my ultrasound, she started and rudely said «Your bladder isn’t full enough and you’re late I can’t see you today it’s 1 already i have other patients»
I explained to her rudely that I was not late and I drank the water I was needed to drink
She took me up to the front desk and was very loud so other patients could hear what was going on. The receptionist asked the technician if she could just see me at 1pm since she didn’t have a patient till 1:30. funny, I thought the technician said she had other patients waiting for her. The technician kept arguing no she can’t see me.
Receptionist said she would have to void my deductable payment and reschedule me for another day, I asked why they can’t show as my next visit being paid in full instead of refunding to my credit card which doesn’t show back up for 10 days. They said it’s against their policy… makes no sense to me what-​so-​ever. I told her I would have to wait till 10 days to make my next appointment so I can make sure that money was refunded and I would go to a different location.
I’m so annoyed because I needed this ultrasound right away due to my medical condition, now I have to wait longer to get results and treatment.
Very rude office, very dirty, NO BEDSIDE MANNER at all. Look, if you’re going into the medical field, you should go into it because you care about patients, not because of the money. Someone like me is sick and doesn’t need the added stress from this place treating me like crap.

How to rate is a tough question. My complaint with Vanowen is a complaint I have with most health care facilities. I entered the lobby and it was packed. No sitting room. When I did get a seat it was wet (I am afraid to guess). After waiting an hour I had to leave for another apointment. The office had been open for only one hour so why were they so behind? I would like to know why health care facilities treat their patients with such disregard? I would never double or triple book a client. Maybe we should all start billing our doctors offices for our time. The term health CARE should be changed to facility or perhaps health factory.

Double billing crooks. Not only did the technicians and Doctors have no bedside manner they double bill. I received a bill for the entire amount and then get a second notice that I was now late. I called my insurance agent and they said they had just received the bill yesterday and paid it out immediately. This is a place not to be trusted with your healthcare.
It is sad that healthcare at Vanowens Radiology Medical Group is all about the $$$$$$$

RUDE, AWFUL service! Doctors, it’s not just your service that matters, it’s the whole staff that reflects your practice.
My 70 year old mother went for a Mammogram and she is not fluent in speaking English, but understands everything! The technician was incredibly rude and loudly blurting out, «DO YOU understand what I’m say…», and getting upset as she is giving directions because my mom didn’t answer everything fluently.
Your dealing with patients! Have a little bit of tolerance, if you can’t then you shouldn’t be in the field of taking care of others!!!
I usually take my mother to all her doctor visits, but wasn’t able to this time. It made me sad to hear she experienced this.
