Manager

Monica and Keith have been Managers of 503 Additional Self Storage since November of 2012. Monica has an exstensive background in the storage industry, having excelled in it for over a decade. Keith recently moved to Vancouver from NYC and has a background in Business Managment, Corporate Training and Customer Service. Together, their skill have helped to elevate the site to become the #1 ranked Self Storage and U-​haul site in the Vancouver area.

Horrible customer service! Rude, condescending, and they will charge you a fee for anything and everything! DO NOT RENT HERE! I’m out of here after two months of dealing with these jerks!

I rented a truck for a small moving job and left my new vehicle parked at their office on July 16th. I returned to pick up my vehicle approx 3 hours later and noted that the rear camera and parking sensers were not working. When i got home i noted my car had been struck on the rear drivers side.
I contacted the office to determine if they had security cameras to identify the evil bozo who hit him and left without leaving any identification. The woman representative told me there was no security camera and i should not be parked on their property and hung up on me. There are a lot of choices to rent trucks. I see a nasty trend in the reviews and I will never be dealing with these rude malicious operatord again.

I returned my uhaul a little late and before I could see if uhaul would waive the additional day change, they ran my card and didn’t really care about making me happy. I would not recommend doing business with this facility.

Rodent infested. The guy that works there has serious control issues. He accused my daughter of breaking a door that had just come off track and them called me up the verbally threaten me and said I would be sent to collection. Trouble with that is I was paid up 3 months in advance. He locked me out of the property when my rent was paid up in full. I moved out 2 days later and he charged me for the door.
He should not be working in any kind of customer service job. He is abusive to customers.

I have never felt so threatened in my life!!! He came at me like he was going to be physical with me!!!
There for a few months. Went to check my things.
EVERYTHING IS MOLDY!!!
There was a dead mouse!!!
The storage door was stuck!!!
I asked for help and the man AGGRESSIVELY walked towards me with big fists balled… Told me «I can’t help you!»

The unit was OK — nothing bad, nothing great.
Sooo. why the bad review?
I forgot my password to my online account (I wanted to pay online) and there is NO ‘reset your password’ option. Sure. my bad, but I didn’t think I’d end up using the unit for so long. Anyway… I had to call their office (twice before I got a response) to get a new password. I recommended that they contact whoever runs their webpage and add the usual ‘reset your password’ option to their webpage and the guy working the counter flat out refused to do that. I told him that I was his customer and that I was trying to give them money. and that their website was making it HARDER for me to do so. He seemed annoyed and said that they don’t do that for security reasons because it’s the same code as used at the security gate. I told him that those probably shouldn’t be tied together… (one password for the pay site, one password for the security gate) and that they could be easily fixed/​changed if they talked to their website company. He refused. Mostly. it was his attitude that just plain sucked. Here I was. a customer. a person who gives them money. and he was just rude and seemed annoyed that I was offering a suggestion.
ALSO… WTF is with the «give us two week notice» before moving out? Oh. I know. it’s a SCAM to get more money out of you. So, because I didn’t give two week notice before moving out… they charge me for an additional two weeks, even though I’ve packed up my stuff and the space is empty. {You think they’ll leave that space empty or rent it out over the next two weeks? Huh? Right.} Sooo. it’s a scam to get another two weeks of charges out of me. Sooo. yeah. I just can’t recommend this storage place to anyone. Poor customer service and overcharges. I’m sure they stay in business because they have a ton of one-​time customers. I know I’ll never go there again. and hence this lousy review. I hope you never use them either.
