Meet the Business Owner

Chris B.

Business Owner

Chris graduated with honors from the Seattle Art Institute in 1992, and took his first graphic design job at Deane’s Graphics (Now Creative Media)! After a year at Deane’s he moved to Oregon and was a Designer and Illustrator at Pickthorn Ad Agency.

He was offered an opportunity to be Production and Logistics Manager at a startup company called BLT Technologies, the inventor of the Talk N Toss™ prepaid phone card. There he managed product design, advertising and production with an annual budget of $ 10 million dollars. BLT then went through a series of acquisitions where Chris was able to oversee the merger of two large departmental operations teams (WorldCom/​MCI) and merged business processes as well. His innovative inventory management system reduced their annual expenses by 50%, and established near perfect Quality Assurance.

He stayed on when Verizon Business took over as the Senior Manager of Operations and Product Development. There he directly engaged with Fortune 500 companies
