I had a great office experience. Dr Dawson’s PA was VERY unfriendly but Dr Dawson herself was wonderful… and I am never going back. I was in the office less than 10 mins and my insurance was charged 612.00. I had her burn off 2 spots… nothing was cut or stitched. She used the code for up to 14 lesions. Had I know that I would have had her burn off 14 spots since I am an ex tanning bed customer. Paid for 14 she burned off 2 little spots. Great Dr but this office up codes the bills.

I’ve taken my teenage daughter here a few times now and we have had a great experience. She has seen Dr. Laura Brandt each time. We’ve never had to wait long to be seen and Laura’s assistant is so nice. My daughter can get severe anxiety at the dr. office, so I truly appreciate the extra time and understanding in the care she received. My daughter had a cyst removed on her face, just under her eye. I am so thankful for the wonderful job Dr. Brandt in stitching up her face as there is not even a mark left from the procedure. Thank you!

I have seen Dr. Thompson twice now and both times I have had to wait in the exam room for her in excess of 30 minutes. Then she rushes in, for literally less than five minutes, doesn’t listen to anything I say and then whips out an Rx for Retin-​A. What? I didn’t ask for, nor do I want that. I went in to have a spot frozen on my face. She missed half of the spot that I needed frozen.
The icing on the cake is the billing department here. When I got my bill from the visit, Margie said they hadn’t billed my insurance yet, so wait. So, I waited. And waited. And then they sent me to collections! I called three times and left voicemails for Margie and she wouldn’t call me back. Finally I sat on hold for twenty minutes waiting for her and got it all straightened, but this has been such a painful experience. Between the botched procedure and the terrible billing department and the lack of patient care, I am done with this place.

I take care of my elderly mother and also have two children so I go to a lot of different clinics and doctors offices. The kindness and accommodation with which I was treated by the staff, along with the efficiency and professionalism of the doctor were above and beyond the norm. I have been here 3 separate times. These people are awesome!

Unfortunately my review is very poor for dermatology associates. My family has a history of skin cancer so regular skin checks are a must. I scheduled an appointment with a doctor there and she seemed to be in a hurry. I was given a superficial exam that was not systematic or thorough. My upper arms and legs were barely glanced at and my scalp and feet were completely neglected. She removed 2 spots from my lower back that I told her were bothering me but she neglected to tell me about the stitches she put in and I was not advised to make an appointment for stich removal so my skin grew over the stitches. I had to eventually have the stitches cut out of my back. My younger brother died from melanoma at 45 so I take exams seriously and I don’t think this clinic is focused on an attention to detail. I know first hand what cancer can do to people if you’re going to be a doctor you should try to be the best you can be. When I called back to complain the office manager was unbelievably rude talked over me and had the personality of a king cobra.

The staff was always courteous, but I had the misfortune of getting a non-​responsive doctor (Dr. Datloff). Dr. Orchard is retiring so I don’t think I’ll be going here, again.

I called to find out why I never got a return phone call and no one ever followed up with me, and never answered the phones, about the Biopsy that was done. They were short staffed so they could not return phone calls. I am so sorry I had the rush me in rush me out treatment at this place, it seems from other Unilocalers that were happy with the way they were treated. I’m not one to get on line and rip someone a new one for no good reason, but hey, getting short staffed and can’t return a phone call? Come on. I’m sure there are other places that can take good care of their patients.

Dr. Elizabeth Dawson is very thorough and has a gentle touch.
The staff is always very courteous and efficient. I don’t have to wait long at all past my appointed time and have never experienced any billing issues.

I called Dermatology Associates for the first time to make an appointment on Tuesday and was offered two choices, Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning! WOW! On arriving I filled out the paperwork and having no insurance offered to pay cash. This was not a problem. They wanted $ 75 before seeing the doctor, and offered me a 20% discount if I paid in full before I left. The staff was great, very friendly. Dr. Datloff was great, very nice, very smart and very helpful. He looked me over and treated a couple of spots I had. Then he spent about 10 minutes talking to me about how to check for skin cancer and what to look for. I never felt rushed and he didn’t leave until I was completely satisfied. I paid in full on the way out and spent less than $ 300 for my visit, much less than I had feared. Years ago I also was checked over by Dr. Susan Orchard, she was really nice too, very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend these folks, I can’t get over how friendly, helpful they were and how reasonable the cost was!
