Meet the Business Owner

Tracy T.

Business Owner

Dr. Tracy Thompson graduated from Texas A & M University Veterinary School in 2002. She worked at a full service/​emergency medicine practice for 3 years and at a general private practice for 2 years prior to starting East Padden Animal Hospital. During veterinary school, Dr. Thompson worked at the clinical pathology laboratory and as a student liaison for a major pharmaceutical company. Her main interests in the field are soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. She has even performed abdominal surgery on a tiger and anesthetized an elephant! In her free time, Dr. Thompson enjoys hiking, sailing, scuba diving, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Kevin and daughters, Kate and Caroline.
