we are a southern bistro smoking all our meat & fish in house. serving stumptown coffee & pastries daily with home made soups, paninis & wraps for lunch. daily happy hour from 3:00 — 5:00pm with a FULL BAR featuring fresh made humus with grilled pita, clams casino, grilled asparagus with asian sauce, steamed mussels in a garlic fennel sauce. dinner begins at 5:00pm with our five cheese mac & cheese, wild mushroom farfalle, smoked meatloaf, ribs, chicken & pulled pork. fish entrees incude grilled halibut & seared tilapia with side to include ember roasted sweet potatoes, bacon & jalapeño stuffing, yukon gold mashed potatoes & wild rice. home made ice cream for dessert as well as sweet potato cheesecake, chocolate brownie smores, fresh apple & pear cake and last but not least banana bread pudding topped with caramel rum sauce!

History

Established in 2007.

Farrar’s Bistro was established by Chef Terry Farrar & restauranteer Debbie Belden with a vision to create unique flavorful food from scratch, using fresh high quality ingredients & local vendors. we are located north of vancouver lake in the historic oddfellows building on 36th avenue in the feilda neighborhood of nw vancouver.
