also the car we were going to test drive didn’t start, you cant find a place to park, very rude people!!! went to Vancouver Ford and found a decent used car!!!

Came by here twice to view a car posted on CL. Neither time could I get a salesman to even come outside or even acknowledge I was on their lot. Kinda hard to sell cars that way I assume.

I have purchased two cars from Hot Wheels. Both were great cars that lasted forever. I had no issues, and the service I received was second to none. The staff was all very knowledgeable and made my car buying experience a good one. I’d definitely recommend Hot Wheels!

This car lot is awesome!
I went there to find a car that I saw on the Internet, Honda Suv, it was really nice and it looked like exactly what I wanted for my family. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to buy it because I have bad student loan credit and I only had $ 500 down but I went in. The sales guy was really really nice. I ended up driving three different cars but bought the one that I came for :-)
After about the car I had to go back the next day and ask them how to use the DVD player. The owners name is tabby and she was really cool and sweet. She seemed like she would go above and beyond for everyone.
When I went here I had my guard up expecting the typical used car sales experience. I thought it would be different. And actually it was really easy and really fun. We laughed the whole time and I didn’t feel like I was being pushed into anything and I understood everything clearly.

THEYRE A SCAMMMMMMMMM. Jesus Christ! Fucking get out of that parking lot NOW. I THOUGHT I bought a car from them but it was repo-​ed FOR NO REASON. I called them to make a payment early and they said they’d get back to me on it because they were unsure who I was financed through. I waited and no call back we called again and again to make a payment but they kept putting it off. I called a week early and I was placed on hold, they put me on hold and hung up on me four times. Now they say I’m crazy and that I hung up and was not cooperating with them. We never got our plates or registration either after we put half down on the car. All I wanted to do was make a payment and now they’re saying I didn’t want too and that its my fault I didn’t pay. BITCH, I called to pay you and they weren’t wanting to take my money! Now I have no car and $ 3,000 broke. Fuck these people. I am now taking them to court because they broke the law. I found several things they did wrong and I will win this case easily.

Do not buy a vehicle from this dealer. The vehicle ran for less than 24 hours before it had to be towed back to the dealer, then they didn’t have the proper tools to do the necessary repairs, when it was finished, they didn’t call to say it was fixed. They also left the bolts out of the seats when they reinstalled them after removing them to get to the gas tank … NEVER buy from these shady characters

This guy will finance you a lemon, with a smile and a weak handshake. The only time in my life I can say I got literally screwed. Got the orange colored HHR halffway home and all the dashlight idiot dingers went off like it wasthe 4^th of july. Car had no oil 4 quarts low, it only holds 4.7qrt…over a gallon low on coolant. The trans is sealed and cant afford to have it looked at yet. But it keeps. locking in gear and killing the engine at stop lights and slow turns. My advice is dont trust carfax or any salesman at this place.

OMG, run away, do not walk away from this place.
I found a truck on the internet I was interested in. I called 3 or 4 times to discussed different aspects of a truck they had for sale. Its condition, origins, things it needed to have done, etc. The carfax did not list any issues and it had only 2 owners none of which were fleets or rental companies. Good start. The dealership assured me over and over again the truck and all of its functions were in good working order. I said I was going to have to spend over $ 100 to get to them by train and it would take me about three hours. I asked them to be completely transparent as I did not want to waste their time or mine. They repeatedly assured me everything was in good working order.
There was a ton of stuff wrong with this POS. Maybe it was completely fine three days ago and two days ago and even this morning. Maybe there was a zombie apocalypse in Vancouver that failed to make the news and the zombies damaged the truck between my leaving Tacoma on Amtrak and arriving at the dealership thee hours later. It could happen, right?! Here is what they «forgot» to mention:
1. The truck was permanently stuck in 4WD. They were in the process of «fixing» it. Yeah, yeah… fixing it. That’s the ticket!
2. The door locks did not work correctly automatically and at least the drivers side door lock worked very poorly even with a fair amount of force applied.
3. The power mirrors did not work at all.
4. There were three error codes showing up on the dash. One for coolant, one for the transmission and one for something else that I unfortunately do not remember.
5. The truck made 45 to 90 degree right turns on its own. Code for it pulled HARD to the right. It was incapable of holding a straight line.
6. The transmission surged/​jerked when pushed hard.
7. There was a dime size chip with an 18 inch long crack in the windshield left side eye level.
8. The entire paint job on the passengers side front fender has a rash of bb sized bubbles that covered the entire topside of the fender. They said it was a clear coat issue. It was under the paint, not the clear coat.
9. It had a heavy and distinct smell of burning motor oil as we drove down the road. He assured me it had been a quart down and that he spilled some when topping it off… hummm, who was a quart low?
We get back and I told the sales guy there was no way I was buying the truck. A little guy, I assume his boss, asks what’s wrong? I go down the list in an honest and straight forward manner. He snarls at me and says, and I quote, have a nice walk back to Tacoma. Now that is excellent customer service!
There was more, but you get the point. You would have to be a certified moron to buy from these guys. If you are a certified moron, Call. I am sure they have a lot full of gems to sell you.

I liked a SUV on the lot but it had a bad oil leak. They asked me if I would be interested in buying it if they fixed the leak. I said «I would definitely be interested.» The next day Dan called me and told me the oil leak was fixed. It took me a couple days to make it back over to Hot wheels.
When I did make it back the SUV was in their shop and I didn’t see a puddle of oil under it. I bought the SUV that day. The next morning there was a puddle of oil in my driveway under the SUV.
I brought it back to Hot wheels. They called me the next day and said it was fixed. They replaced the valve cover gaskets.
The the gasket replacement was awful. The gasket was sticking out on one side leaking oil on the spark plugs and coil packs. On the other side of the engine a rubber grommet missing. Oil was also leaking out there aswell causing the same problem. I brought it back again to have it fixed.
I get the SUV back and it’s still leaking oil. I called Dan back and he told me «We’re not doing anymore work».
I can’t drive it now because it overheats. Two mechanics have told me it needs a new head gasket ($ 4000). I haven’t used ½ a tank of gas since I bought it.
My advice, have a mechanic look the car before you buy. Don’t believe them if they say they’ll fix it.
