Jack in the Box

I really don’t eat fast food very often. The other half was puking his guts out the last few days and really wanted J in the B last night. This was our 3^rd trip since August. The first two times we left the drive through with either a messed up or completely wrong order. I wrote a review on their website which was followed up with a regional manager emailing me that he wanted to «make it up to me». Unfortunately he failed to respond after that, so I’m not really thrilled with this location or that manager… Yesterday’s order was fortunately complete and the drive through attendant was very nice and helped us use coupons to get the most bang for our buck. Just wish they would pay better attention to orders and follow through when they offer to «make things better.»

I received coupons in the mail and decided to try the new portobello mushroom swiss hamburger. The picture on the coupon looked amazing. The actual hamburger was even more amazing! The employee that was working the drive thru, was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately I did not catch her name. But she was working the drive thru on Thursday morning at 12:30 a.m. and Thursday night had about 11:25 p.m..

While out on a weekend ride, my motorcycle over heated while sitting in traffic. I pulled into the nearest parking lot; happened to be this particular jack in the box. I’m not a big fast food eater, but I was trying to kill some time while quenching my thirst. The food was what is to be expected. The problem I had was with the counter person. While wearing plastic gloves, the gentleman took my order and handled the money. With receipt in hand I began to walk to a seat; I turned around because I was curious to see if he would remove his gloves. Sure enough he turned around and began handling other food and items without changing gloves! Like I said in the beginning; the food is what was to be expected, but the training could use a little work.

In case you care, the sourdough breakfast sandwich is only 11 WW pts.
The taste is pretty yummy and the service is okay. The neighborhood is not the greatest so prefer going through the drive through.

I don’t know about during the day, but if you hit their drive through around 12am the service is awesome. Our orders are accurate, its always hot, they are fast, and when we make last minute decisions at the window they are very accomidating. The guy in the VW jacket is awesome and always willing to go the extra mile. Only bad thing I have to say is they need to put more ketchup on their mini sirloin burgers. :)
