Staff was nice and friendly. They are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. When they didn’t have what I needed on stock, cashier helped me jump online and locate it. Better than big box stores for tools. High quality tools.

It my lucky day when I decided to try Parr Lumber (I was on my way to the HD Big Box Store) to find a piece of a custom sliding door lock. I remembered they had done my window replacement years ago otherwise I probably would’ve never thought to go there for the little part that broke. They were much quicker to park, and get some service. I was directed back to the window & door department and to my delight he just so happened to have a lock set sitting on his counter that had the piece I needed. I was in and out in 5 minutes. I fully expected to have to try to figure out how to order this part. His expertise identified the door from the handle I took in with me. AWESOME DUDE! Timothy Miller knows his stuff. He works with contractors as a door and window specialist. He is now in my phone contact list as my go to guy for door & window needs.

Stopped by just to ask for a referral for a shop to mill wood moldings for my canvas supports. Steve was very helpful. Unfortunately I knew his only source. Another customer was listening in and referred me to another cabinetmaker. That’s the way it’s done. Great businesses bring great people and they help each other! Parr lumber has a nice selection of pro level tools. Check it out.

Love the customer satisfaction ethic at Parr. I was short 1 board in my order (my fault). Called @ 8:30am on Friday to see if I could get one delivered. Dave & Steve checked and no straight boards in the yard. They called the «warehouse» and said could have one on Monday. Happy customer. They called back saying the yard would be in our neighborhood and tossed one on the truck. Lumber showed up before 3pm (6.5hrs later) — VERY happy customer. Well done Parr!

Good source for lumber supplies. However, it didn’t seem like anyone really wanted to help.
When I asked about deck lumber, the front desk guy didn’t know specifics. Plus he made me feel like an idiot because I didn’t know lumber terminology. He said I could go in the back and get some help.
When I asked someone in the back supply area, he was too busy and never came back. I did wait some time. I walked around until I could find what I was looking for.
Lot’s of employees here, at least four other guys at the front desk. Granted, I didn’t really know how busy each of them were.
But it would have been better and a likely sale, had they tried to show some interest.
The Unilocal review wants a Price Range. Since I don’t know what the prices were — I’ll just show this as Moderate.
Bottom line. It’s all about SERVICE and they didn’t do this.
