Pa’s Tree Services

I hired Pa’s to remove some brush and a tree from our property. The night before the job was scheduled to begin I received frantic texts from an employee asking me to reschedule my appointment due to a recent wind storm. He touted the countless people with roof damage from said storm and how awful their lives would be once the rain began. In business terms he saw a fat influx of cash from emergency tree work, which made my job seem like chump change.
I was unable to reschedule. Because of this I endured many insults from the employee of Pa’s.
Do not hire this company. They are exceedingly unprofessional, rude and classless.

I had them come out for a bid, the first time he was late by over 30 minutes, my wife had to leave so he said he would come back the next day, again he was late, but this time we had him stop by some trees on the way to see what we had in mind, his recommendation the first time was to basically butcher them like they do under the power lines in a «V» cut, these trees are in our yard not on the road side. So any way on the second trip not only was he late again, he does not even show up but he calls and leaves a message that says he cant do the job unless we pay$ 275 per hour, then he can cut the trees in a manner that would look good. so all being said, he was way over priced on his first bid by over $ 2000 vs other companies and secondly he is only good a butchering trees or removing them, other wise he will charge $ 275 per hour. I suggest you find another company

Called and set up an appointment for an estimate for the next day. They gave us a 2 hour window and my elderly mother waited the entire time and they never showed up. I called to inquire why they didn’t show and also sent an email and they did not respond at all.
Used a different company and were beyond pleased. They even got two new customers while working at my mom’s place. Do not recommend Pa’s for they are unreliable and unprofessional.

After multiple estates and recommendation by our neighbor we hired Pa’s to remove two very large trees in our back yard, we are so happy with Pa’s and the work done. This crew worked safely was organized and got a huge job done in one day! It was amazing. We had no issues with anything. We had the stumps ground as well and if it wasn’t for the holes you would never know those huge trees were there. The clean up was amazing. With the tight space and 4 houses in close proximity with trees that size we were a bit nervous. From the start it was clear this crew knew what they were doing.
The cost was so reasonable. We are so happy to not have all those leaves to rake come fall, and our neighbors are happy too!

PA’S tree service did a great job on two huge old apple trees in our yard however half of one tree fell on the fence. No big deal. we needed a new fence anyway. Jose came back to finish grinding the stumps late on a Friday evening because he promised to get it done. Would recommend PA’S trees to friends & family. Honest guy trying to make a living…

I called Pa’s Tree Service about a year ago and they sent over the most arrogant jerk I’ve ever met. I asked some very harmless questions and he got very upset. He started to rant about his credentials as an arborist and how he would never risk damaging his expensive stump grinding equipment on my terraced property to make a «few extra bucks.» I didn’t even care that much about the stumps. I think by the end of the visit he could see how pissed off I was, so he offered me a discount. I wouldn’t let these guys do work on my property even if it was free.

I used this tree service in Mar 2014. They didnt finish the job I hired them to do and they left a mess, I.e., ruts in the yard. Dont recommend this company.

We’ve used Pa’s for several jobs in the past and have always been pleased with their work, service and rates. That is why it is difficult to give them less than 5*‘s this time. We’re thinking it may have been a communication problem between Anthony and workers because: The front and tops of the hedges were cleaned up yet we had asked that the tops be lowered quite a bit since they were so tall, but it wasn’t done. By winter they will now be even taller than we like. There were shrubs that we didn’t want pruned but they were.
The most disappointing are the ornamental trees. The cherry trees are lopsided and not even with one another… one was pruned shorter and irregular. And our maples? The only one we wanted pruning has been in the ground for 8 yrs and was looking so good. We just wanted it thinned out a bit, but they cut so many bottom branches off and left a huge hole in the middle of the tree. Then, when walking the yard, we noticed they (tried to) prune another that we didn’t request to have done. It looks like a stick with a mushroom cap. Totally thick on the top, bottom branches cut off, heavy on one side… so ugly. Everytime we look at our trees I want to cry.
Pa’s has usually done a great job for us but we learned from this experience that pruning delicate trees are not their area of expertise.
