Richey’s Tires opened in 1964 and was the first tire store in the Vancouver WA area. Dave Montei began working for Richey’s in 1969 and continued to be a valuable employee for the next 10 years.

In 1979 Dave purchased the store and has operated Richey’s for the last 31 years.

Dave Montei over the years has expanded his business to include not only tires but also a wide range of custom wheels to put the finishing touch on your vehicle, and a complete auto repair service center.

Dave loves what he does and is passionate about the service he provides. He maintains the highest customer service standards and his customers love the personal attention they receive.

Driving from Portland to Seattle, my boyfriend ran over nail leaving our tire completely flat. Being a Sunday, there wasn’t much we could do. We called AAA but they don’t actually FIX flats. We called a dozen tire shops, but they were closed or had no availability. I came on here (thanks Unilocal!) and found Richey’s Tire Repair. I spoke to Chad who told me to come on down and they would help me out. When we got there everyone was VERY friendly which is great when you are in panic mode. Chad helped with the tire, recommend we replace our windshield wipers (it was like a monsoon and they sucked, so we did), and just made the whole day MUCH better. I highly recommend them if you are in the area or just passing through with a flat.

First of, they are open on Sundays. This is a big plus because there is a death of tire repair shops (if any) open on that day.
I arrived when they first opened and there was already a line of people waiting for me although the overall wait averaged about 15 minutes (including the actual work on my car) per person.
Unfortunately, the valve stem on my car broke and because it is a newer car with sensors, the whole unit needed to be replaced. They were able to fix this in a timely manner and for what seemed like a very fair price.
To kill time, there is a WalMart nearby as well as a few fast food places or they have some cushy chairs in their jam-​packed lobby.
The restroom was quite clean especially considering this is a mechanical shop.
They even said that if I ever needed my tires checked, I could drop in any time. That’s definitely service since my tires weren’t purchased there.
Friendly staff and an easy visit. I recommend this place highly.

I really hate to be the only 2 star review but I had a terrible time there today. The front desk guy was nice & helped me check in. But like 20 min later some other guy comes up to me & said that the tires I brought them to mount are too big & will rub & they can’t do anything about it & wont put them on. I knew that the tires were larger then The ones I had but I did some research & everyone said that those tires would work even tho they are larger. I just have a feeling that he didn’t even really try. just glanced at them & turned me down I work 6 days a week & I was disparate todo them today & this dude literally did not care basically just told me to go. I went down to Costco they mounted those tires for half the price that this place said they would ($ 65 compared to $ 130 that this place quoted me) I drove me truck there’s no rubbing no issues at all. So just trying to give you a heads up that if you have an odd task steer clear of this place. Cuz the guy I talked to was not a professional.

I’ve driven in and had my flat fixed for free when I had never been here before. It’s amazing service like that to make me a loyal customer. Since then I’ve gotten all new tires here and they were not that bad in price… and excellent quality. I wouldn’t go anywhere else but here for all my tire needs

Came here to get a couple of replacement tires for the Volvo. We needed them quick since we were leaving town. The tires were hard to find and this place came in within a few bucks of all the online searching I did. That alone is pretty good. These guys came through huge and had the tires orders, shipped, mounted and ready in about 24 hours — awesome. When I came to pick them up, there was a $ 60 difference in the price quoted and the bill. The boss came in, verified what I was quoted and without the slightest problem adjusted the bill down to the quote. Outstanding. Good customer service is one of the hardest things to find these days and these guys provide it in spades.
You guys have earned my business for the rest of my cars — I’ll be in there in a couple months for the Jeep. Great job.

Had a blowout on the highway, took the nearest off ramp and luckily Richey’s Tire Factory was right off the exit. My tire was swapped out and the service was awesome. My daughters and wife were in the car, what could have been a difficult experience ended up being a breeze. Thanks Richey’s!

They replaced the rack and pinion in my RAV4 after it failed, and it came with a 6 month warranty and a fair price.
About 7 months later, the part failed and the vehicle started losing power stearing fluid. They said the part failed, and replaced it. I asked the service manager if it was still under warranty, and he said the part was one year but the labor was six months. Then he said that while it was longer than the warranty period, it broke «too soon» and told me not to worry about it!
This place knows the value of building a relationship with a customer instead of milking them for a quick buck. They offer great service at a reasonable price.

Awesome, friendly, fast service. Came in here to get a flat fixed on my car after it previously was went flat and got poorly «fixed» only a week ago at Sears for 3 hours and they couldn’t find out what was wrong with my tires but here they figured out that it had a screw in it! This was a quick walk in, there for maybe 40 minutes. This place being one of the only tire companies open in the area on a Sunday as early as 9am. Thank you!!!

This Shop believes in Customer Service and Long Term Relationships.
We own and operate Car Forensics a local Mobile Auto Service and Onsite Diagnostics Unit in Vancouver, Wa. A long time ago, Richie’s helped me with a problem I had completing a front brake job 1990 Honda Accord. A very expensive puller or bearing press is required to replace the rotors on these 4th and 5th generation Accords, something I became aware of after it was too late to turn back. We wound up needing to replace the wheel bearing in addition to the rotor due to our lack of skill accomplishing the hub removal.
I was not prepared well for what I was getting myself into, and this place not only bailed me out but did so in a very professional way, when no other shop around would. You never forget things like that.
We recommend our family and customers here when they need a new set of tires and want to be taken care of in a courteous and expeditious manner.

These guys were great! I discovered a screw in my tire on a Sunday afternoon. I couldn’t find any other tire places even open on Sunday. I brought my car in and it was fixed at no charge in less than 20 minutes! I will absolutely be going back!

Just bought a set of Dunlop tires for my GMC. Prices are as good as TireRack. These guys are pros here. It’s a busy shop. They’ve been here for many years, they’ve got to be doing a lot of things right or they’d never have this kind of longevity.

Faster than a speeding Lamborghini, more powerful than a 18 wheeler, able to help me out on a Sunday morning. Look just off the highway blah blah blah it’s Richies tires to the rescue.

Enter the Octagon! Giant empty mall parking lot. Rows and rows of invisible cars. The perfect place to practice driving. I cut my chops in a Kmart parking lot the same way.
So after dozens of passes up and down the empty aisles I told him to make one last pass around a planted end Island. Awwww shit a little too hard on the right turn! Bush one car zero.
Blew out the sidewall on the right front tire of the rent-​a-​car. So I did a bit of Unilocaling and found Richey’s Tires not too far away so after my son got a lesson on changing tires off we went.
These guys rock!
They had a new tire mounted, balanced and on the car in 5 min! I kid you not! And the $ 100 price tag was very reasonable.
I highly recommend this shop!

WOW!!! Went to a tire store up the road and they wanted $ 930 for 4 new tires and a alignment and balance. Here it cost me only $ 650 and the tires have a 50,000 warranty!!! The $ 930 tires only had a 30,000 warranty… so the way I look at it was that I got a smoking deal! FYI they also have amazing coffee across the street while your waiting.
Keep it up guys! I’ll come back whenever I need car help.

So I managed to blow out two-​tires on my Mercedes by hitting what appeared to be a part of a cinder block laying in the middle of I-​5 just before the Interstate bridge heading into Vancouver. I called Speed’s towing and had my car towed in to Richey’s Tire Factory based upon the reviews that I saw while sitting on Hwy 14 waiting for the truck to arrive.
First off they are open on Sunday which was much appreciated. I was told they had a tire to fit my car but it was made by a different company other than Continental so I elected to leave my car overnight so they could order the tires and do a front wheel re-​alignment. Since the car was fairly new I had 70% of my tread left so they were able mount and balance two new tires saving me from having to replace all four since the vehicle is an AWD.
I was really happy with the level of service I received and would highly recommend them. Had they had the same tire that I wanted I would have been in and out of there in about an hour. Now that’s what I call service.
