Established in 2006.

Ron’s Automotive began as a single mobile service truck when founder Ron Warman provided on site vehicle service and repairs at your home or work. Since that time Ron’s Automotive has grown to 2 locations along with a full service collision department offering the Vancouver area the finest in vehicle service, repair and comprehensive warranty since 1979. But we also believe you deserve to know what you’re paying for, and if you compare equal services, you’ll see that our competitive pricing makes Ron’s the easy choice.

Born and raised in the Vancouver area, a graduate of Columbia River High School. Technical school training at Motech Automotive in Detriot Michigan. ASE Master Certified working as a line technician for over 5 years before opening a mobile service and repair company.

I’m a former Bell’s Velvet Hammer customer and it was hard when they sold the company to another business. Bell’s was top notch. I wasn’t thrilled with the new buyer so I had to find a new place. For my first visit, I chose Ron’s because it was close to work and home (at the time) and they could give me rides to the rental shop, etc. They did a terrific job on my car and they were very friendly.
The shop is very clean and has comfy chairs to wait in. For that first trip, I had a small issue where the new part wasn’t built identically to the old part so a couple of clips weren’t installed. After noticing the problem, I went back and luckily they still had my old rear bumper and took the clips off that to fix the problem.
I’d dropped in last year because I’d dented my car in my carport (I drive poorly under stress.) At the time I couldn’t afford to get it fixed because I’d lost my job but they gave me an estimate and I told them I’d be back.
It’s been about a year now and I took my car back in. It’s so great when people remember you; I love that feeling. They remembered my car and our talk and I got a new official estimate. The car is going into the shop at the end of the week and I can’t be more thrilled. I feel safe and secure knowing my car is in very capable hands. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they don’t gouge you when you’re paying out of pocket.

Words cannot describe my experience with the above and beyond customer service I received from Ron’s Automotive and the personal service and HONEST advise I received from John. Took my Ford Explorer in there with a possible blown transmission. John broke the bad news to me (yes, it was blown), but also gave me all the options. Needless to say, I have been new (used) car shopping and have called on him for advise on a couple SUV’s and John gave me (again) HONEST ADVISE. There was NO CHARGE for them to diagnose my Explorer and they even sent a car out to pick me up when I didn’t have a ride. WOW! Felt a little overwhelmed by this … brought them some cookies and they will be doing my pre-​purchase check on my new ride and I will be bringing them my daughters car in too — I will be a customer forever.

I wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else. I’ve had Ron’s work on three of our family’s cars over the past ten years. Satisfied every time. They aren’t the cheapest repair shop around town, but believe me — they are worth every penny to KNOW every servicing and repair was done correctly the first time.
Why would you want to have any of your cars be less than 100% reliable? Having your car done by the cheapest guy is a recipe for worry and regret. The people at Ron’s Hazel Dell are smart and honest. They will recommend what your car needs, but won’t recommend anything not needed.
Talk with John — outstanding car guy. And he’s funny, too.

Do not take your car here. They don’t accept checks, but that information is not posted any where or shared with customer until you are there to pick up your car and pay. I have been a customer since 2009, living at same address and bringing in the same car for service and needed to pay with a corporate check. Bill was less than $ 700. Tried to bring issue to «Ron’s» attention, but he is too busy to return my call!

It is always nice to find a place you feel good dealing with. We are just back from picking up my son’s car and I felt I needed to share how pleased we were with our experience. BTW, the reason we went there was due to the positive reviews on Unilocal.The car had died and despite some of our trouble shooting we were unable to diagnose the problem. We called and Jon was great at letting us know what tests and charges we would incur. He kept us informed and was very clear about what needed to be done. Options were offered and there was no pressure to do more than the necessary work to get the car on the road again. Thanks, Jon and all involved at Ron’s Automotive.

I was recently in an accident near Ron’s Automotive & I drove my car there hoping they could help me out. Dave was who I talked to and he was more than helpful! He not only assessed the damages of the whole front end of my ford focus, but also made a bunch of calls trying to find parts for my car at the best price possible. He let me keep my car there while I was figuring out all the details and even though I didn’t end up having Ron’s Automotive work on my car, I wasn’t charged anything for his efforts. I more than appreciate this amazing service and will definitely come to Ron’s Automotive in the future!

I would not recommend these people to work on a gocart. I took my Honda Accord into check why the check engine light was on. I had already taken it to an Auto Parts store and had them put it on the tester and told me what part to replace. So I replaced the part and the check engine light came back on. So I decided to take it to Rons to have it looked at. They charged me a 120 bucks to tell me the same thing the autoparts store had told me for free. So I replaced the part and all is fine. But they wanted 500 bucks to put a 100 dollar part in that took me 20 minutes total to remove and reinstall. I am not a mechanic by any means of the word. Just googled the part and watched a short video on youtube and thats all it took. These people suck!
