I was excited to leave a better review this go around. Greeting was pleasant but when I was asked what I wanted for my son, I said MVP. They brought him out after just a haircut with my son feeling disappointed.

Young lady did a dynamite job cutting my hair today. I asked for a tight fade, and received a tight fade. No nonsense. I am sometimes wary being a Californian visiting the Portland area since so many Californians see how nice the area is and buy houses up here which jacks up the prices; I understand the annoyance against Californians for this reason. This topic actually came up while my hair was cut and the young lady(a Vancouver native) fully understood both sides of the issue! Plus, a perfect haircut. Excellent work and a fine job making the customer feel confortable!

Best place for men to get their hair cut. They never turn off sports and are always nice! Thanks :)

I find it funny that whenever we come in, Melissa pretends to be busy. Even if she is finishing up with someone, she purposely wanders around until another stylist is done and I see her tell that stylist to help us. We’ve only been to her twice and are not sure what we did to receive this, but to be quite honest with you I’d rather not go to someone who never smiles. Besides, the other ladies have done an excellent job. I hope she knows she is not fooling anyone.

If you are not a middle aged man that likes getting a haircut every two weeks then I do not recommend getting your hair cut at sports clips. I’ve gotten enough bad haircuts here to finally say that enough is enough. They constantly cut my hair way too short and leave my sides uneven making me looking like Anne Hathaway from Les Miserables. I will admit that they do have great deals and the free of charge hair wash on your first haircut is very generous, but it doesn’t excuse the overpriced haircuts and villainous employees that were probably hired by satan himself. If you’re the stepfather from Boyhood then I highly recommend taking your ungrateful stepson in for a nice trim. Long story short, I’d rather get my haircut by a five year old with safety scissors than by any of the employees at sport clips.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a barbershop. I brought my son in to get his haircut and the woman who cut his hair was extremely rude and disrespectful. She did not listen to his instructions or try to gain any clarity as to what he wanted, and when I went to pay her she made inappropriate comments to him. I will never go back again, nor will I recommend this place to my friends. Customer service is important and this experience was truly awful. Not only was it a bad haircut but I left with a bad taste in my mouth after being treated so poorly.

NE78th&NE Hazel Dell I was almost a fan… almost. My stylist was pretty nice and did a pretty good job. They offer free neck trims which confused me because I thought neck trims were part of the cut to which she explained to me was that someone can com in after a cut just to have their neck trimmed which I thought was nice. The reason I was almost a fan was because I thought all her kindness was genuine… that is until it came time time to accept my coupon. I explained that I was living out of state and this was my first time here and I had two coupons(one being for $ 10 for first timers and the other being for $ 3 off one of their regular haircuts… they offer 3 different options.) This is one of those PNW chain Haircut places that is similar to a Super Cuts. What their motif that they have going on is the whole sports things so décor is laden with memorabilia that tips its proverbial hat to various sports.

Clean place. Nice enough staff. Signing in on the sheet when you get there sucks. I just want an anonymous haircut without everyone seeing my stats. The price is as high as going to someplace better like Y-Chrome or HairM(and even there, you get free drinks… big boy drinks). Also, you’ll share the waiting room with wives and mothers… so that changes the vibe. This place is basically Supercuts or Barbers with a better scalp massage service and wrapped in a sports-themed gimmick. The reason I go: When I want a quick neck trim that is close by and maybe a relaxing scalp massage in the massage chair — you should at least check this out. The reason I don’t go more: You get an inconsistent haircut — and like most places like this, the turnover in staff is on the high side… so if you do find one who can do it right, she might not be there the next time. Also, they name their packages with sports names that all could be the same thing… there’s little hierarchy to indicate what level of service you’re paying for: MVP; All-Star; umm… Rookie of the Year… other sports achievement name here.

My husband hates getting his haircut and I convinced him to go in because we had a coupon from an entertainment book from our daughters school. The wait was long but well worth it. Not only did he leave with a great haircut but she also informed us that he doesn’t have dandruff he has dry scalp and turned us on to a shampoo that has taken care of the problem. The only place my husband and sons will be getting their hair cut from now on.
