Susie’s Country Inn For Dogs & Cats

Just picked up our Gracie dog from a stay at Susie’s where she was lovingly cared for. We have left all our dogs at Susie’s over the years and they have our total recommendation.
This is a family owned business and they go the extra mile to care for your pet. The facilities are first rate and immaculate.

Susie’s County Inn is the place for your dogs and cats while traveling. The location has competitive prices, a clean interior and exterior and friendly staff. The front desk staff take great care in learning about your pet (eating preferences, ect) at check in and operate a very professional office. Great find!

We love this place! Great option when boarding you pet. We’ve taken our 2 dogs there and have no worries. They come home happy & tired. Highly recommended.

All the reviews here are for dogs (when we had a dog, Susie’s was the only place she went)., so I’ll let you know our experience with our cat. We just picked up our 8 month old kitten. We had only booked the condo for her. The first day she tried to rip off the door so they moved her to a large crate where she had better visibility. When that didn’t work they moved her to the larger condos. The place is spotless and they take great care of the cats. For an older cat the condo’s would be fine.. I really appreciate how they found a way to keep our young cat happy and content all week. You do need to book way in advance though.

I wouldn’t take my chihuahua anywhere else. Susie’s is the next best thing to staying at home. I’m impressed how quiet and clean the kennels are. No barking, frantic dogs. It doesn’t smell like urine and «dog» smell. It is immaculate. They have an outdoor grassy areas for the dogs to take exercise and they keep the small dogs together. Would give them 10 stars! I’ve been taking my baby there for the past 8 years — never had a problem

Susie’s is an amazing facility with competent staff. Our dogs come back after each visit full of life, happy, confident & well taken care. We will continue to trust Susie’s with our babies so long as we live here. Highly recommended!

We left our dog with them for three days and brought her home very ill. In fact, my wife had to take her to the Vet for several hours so that she could receive an IV for dehydration! Several hundred dollars in Vet bills later, our dog STILL has an infection on her stomach. Be very careful about leaving your pets there. By the way, they never offered to help pay vet bills or forgive their boarding bill.

We hate to be separated from our two goldens, but when we have to travel we would never leave them anywhere except Susie’s. We’ve been taking them there a few times a year since 2005, and they always come home healthy; equally telling is that when we drop them off they’re excited and never reluctant to let Susie’s team take them from us.
The kennels are clean and well-​lit, and you don’t hear a lot of barking, which tells me the dogs are not highly stressed. Located in Brush Prairie, Susie’s has lots of space for the dogs to run outside the kennel, and they’re well exercised, further reducing their stress.
Susie is a delight, a Texas transplant who takes her heritage seriously (and not so seriously ;-) She and her team are also serious about animal care, and meticulous in ensuring that medical records are up to date to protect all of her «guests.» A stay at Susie’s is a great experience for us and our dogs.

Though it is very difficult to get in since they are always so busy, it is well worth planning ahead. Our dog never seems overly stressed from his stays, it is clean, well organized, and leaves me feeling confident in their care. They are a little expensive, but they don’t nickle and dime and deliver great, professional care in return.

We took our dog to this place a few years ago. she had such a good time when we went to get her she did not want to leave. She had her own bedroom with TV and radio what a kick.
