I only like this location because we can get fresh sushi made to order. I’ve tried to like it, but TWICE I’ve run into the rudest produce guy who works there! We’ll go to the closer location to our house for produce and the bulk stuff, even though they don’t have a sushi setup because they are a newer store. So disappointed in this older dude. Ugh. I’ve tried to speak nice to him but he’s angry every. single. time. No thanks.

I looove me some Winco. In college and directly after I didn’t have a lot of money so I counted on Winco and their super low prices to get by. Even now, Winco is still my go– to grocery store.

This is my new Winco. It’s laid out exactly opposite of my old Winco, so it will take some getting used to. I love the massive bulk section, the beautiful produce, the fantastic prices, and the helpful employees. I also like that I can shop in the middle of the night to avoid the massive crowds. My number one favorite thing about Winco, though, is that they refund you 6 cents for every reusable shopping bag you bring in (within reason for your shopping trip). They are the only grocery store that rewards the environmentally friendly.

This store is close to my house and my favorite place to buy groceries or things around the house. They have great prices and are friendly and efficient. Anytime I go somewhere else, I’m reminded that WinCo is my favorite grocery store.

I frankly don’t know why you would shop anywhere else. The prices are the best, the produce is beautiful, and the employees are friendly. I see no reason to shop at the big national stores that charge ridiculous prices! This is the only place I shop!

This is the one you are looking for. Whenever we need food in a hurry, i am always up for Winco. Winco never gets old and it only gets better and better every time you shop there. Most badass place to shop in this area and around the whole west coast as well because they are a HUGE chain around the west coast.

i love going grocery shopping when i know where everything i need is located. I always go here to get my groceries and they would last me a month! Winco offers competitive prices with other grocery stores. This store is easy to navigate to get all your essentials. Can be quite busy but overall the checkers are fast and efficiently.

We bought a cat tree at this WinCo. It was super easy to put together ourselves, and we found the options were better than at Petco/​PetSmart. The cat litter we buy was also half the price that we normally pay!
Other than that WinCo has great prices on beer and wine, and they sell less popular meats like liver and hearts that we use to make pet treats from.

My favorite department is the bulk food section. Their spices are of good quality and a fraction of the cost in the bottled spice section. They give me cash credit for bringing my own bags, something a lot of stores won’t do. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Winco will always be my go to grocery store.

This winco is the closest one to my house and in comparison to Fred Meyers or Safeway, the prices are cheap! It is open 24/​7, so of course you get some sketchy looking people shopping here late at night. I’m gonna miss this place when I move away because you can’t beat the prices at winco!

I shutter to think how much we spend here! A family of 7 needs cheap groceries! I like WinCo because it’s conveniently located and stocks pretty much everything.
I love the beer prices– best in Vancouver.
I wish I could get Blue Buffalo dog food here.

1 *: Open ²⁴⁄₇. Just about always an automatic star for this factor.
2 *: I don’t know what other WinCo’s some of the other people reviewing this place have been to, but this store is WAY cleaner than most of the Portland-​area ones, especially the ones in SE…
3 *: New WA legislation = l-​i-​q-​u-​o-​r. Doesn’t take a whole lotta liquor to like that law.
4 *: It’s conveniently located near a place I sometimes work, and very close to 205.
5 *: It’s employee-​owned, yet still significantly cheaper than Safeway, Fred’s, etc– even w/​the sales tax.

This Winco is bomb! Employees are nice and are willing to help you. Also when they get really busy, they control line length pretty well.

This location could stand to be a bit cleaner. Sometimes when you can find a staff member they are for the most part willing to be helpful finding something in such a large store. The prices are about the same as far as Wincos goes. It can be really busy in there so go really early in the morning or really late at night when the store is stocking new deals on the shelves to avoid people. Their variety of vegetarian staple foods out beats Walmart by far and they have a really good bulk section of everything ranging from cereal to candy and soups to nuts. Don’t forget to bring your own bag for when you are packing your own groceries and saving money by doing so.

They have Talking Rain sparkling water at a great price. That is the main reason why I go in there. I find other goodies too though at low prices.
Most employees are friendly and willing to help however there was one gentleman working in the store who was very bothered when I asked to squeeze by him when he was blocking the bulk food aisle. He acted pained and gave me a mean look when I pushed my cart by him. Not really sure what his problem was because I was very apologetic when asking to get around him. Maybe next time don’t block the aisle when customers are trying to shop with your work cart?
The cashier was super friendly and I enjoyed my conversation and a nice lady in produce directed me to the jalapenos. I took one star away due to the tool in the bulk food aisle who was mean.

It’s about time I’m writing a review for this place. I’ve only been part of Unilocal since 2007 and shopping at this Winco just as long!
Grocery shopping here is just about a weekly adventure for me. I’m not exaggerating either. I have a select few checkers that I go to because they are quick and efficient. They recognize my family and I as well… so much so that they pretty much know what will be in our cart! Also, if one of us are missing, they ask if everything is alright. I guess it’s nice of them if you think about it or maybe it’s a sign that I grocery shop too much.
Items here are a lot cheaper than most other places yet you’re getting the same products! The produce is great as long as you’re willing to do some digging. The meat selection is pretty decent too.
Thank you Winco for giving the Couve an alright place to get some groceries.
