Yo Licious Frozen Yogurt

Second time there. They’re small, not as large of a selection as other places. They share the business with Pita Pit (which rubs me the wrong way).
I got a Groupon for YoLicious so I went in today to use it. A previous Groupon to another place with the same deal was all on one card and I had to use it at once. When I was only given one thing to print out, I assumed I would have to use it all at once with the one code. I asked the girl at the counter who said yes. I filled up several things of frozen yogurt to fill up $ 20 bucks worth. Then there was a problem she saw so she gets her manager or owner. He said I couldnt use it more than $ 5. [Insert proper customer service: Ring it up anyway.] I had been very polite up until then and even threw out the waffle cone I spilled.
My pregnancy hormones got the best of me and I walked out at that point. Sure, that was probably wrong of me. [Insert proper customer service: say nothing]
So the owner/​manager yells at me «WHAT THE FUCK?! BITCH!» and as I got in the car he comes out the door and yelled at me «Is this how you treat a business?»
You got your moneys worth when I paid for Groupon, who cares that I filled up on a few bucks of frozen yogurt you can have your staff eat. She watched me fill it up, she knows I didnt taint the stuff. I lost out on my money and my yogurt, so why yell at me to my face. I get that it pissed you off that I walked out, but as the customer I dont need to maintain professionalism. As the manager or owner YOU do. All I did was leave it there, I could have done worse like make a huge mess of it or defaced your property or something.

Nope, nope… nooooope. Won’t be back. Dropped in to treat my son to some yogurt for his birthday. We just moved here so had never been to this place. First off, it looks like a ghetto menchies rip off. They have probably half the flavors, and half of those flavors weren’t functioning properly and spewed yogurt vomit into our cups. Gross.
Not a very diverse topping bar, and most of it was candy. Didn’t get my vote of confidence on clean either. We paid nearly $ 12 dollars for two cups… Mine was maybe half full. Upon tasting, it had a suspicious after taste that seemed off. I only ate a few bites. Came home, and an hr later both of us became violently ill. No thanks.

Definitely not open late. Don’t know why it says so on Unilocal because it’s 9, I drove all the way down because it said they were open, and they’re closed.
They’re good when they’re open though so that’s a plus.

I go to Pita Pit next door and I am such a good little Nicky, gettin’ my veggies in a bowl, low-​cal toppings, yada yada.
Then I come in here and it all goes to shit.
I hate this place. Going into here is like having angry sex; it feels great but I wonder if I can control myself. All those gorgeous containers with their exquisite sweetness inside. Ready to be lovingly prepared for my consummation. I’d like to do it a lot more often but know I dare not. Yet, every time I see you…
Now if you will excuse me, I’m going to have a cigarette, roll over and go to sleep.

Disgusting. First (and last) time here and it is FILTHY as well as gross. Everything is dirty with spilled yogurt and toppings and syrups on every surface. The yogurt coming out of the machine is wet and basically formed an instant puddle in our bowls (between us we tried 4 different ones). The fruit toppings look rotten and everything is half empty. The Dirt and peeling labels on the topping bar indicate this is not just a bad night. We’ve been to most of the froyo places in this area, and love them, but this is just gross. We threw away more than half of what we purchased.

This is a great place! Great deals and staff. The guy that always works nights here (Ethan) knows what he is doing he is the best. The yogurt is great and there is decent selection of topping. I recommend this place to everyone

Really nice staff and convenient location. Disappointed about the lack of fro-​yo flavor choices and toppings :(not as many choices/​variety as other places. But the staff was very friendly, so I’ll be a repeat customer.

Loved this place! Went with lunch with a friend. She had a buy 1 get 1 free. Out lunch was like $ 1.50 each! Looked super cute in the inside. Everything was really clean. How awesome that the other side is Pita Pit!
The lady that helped us was super friendly. Gave my friend a million sample cups so she could try every flavor. I think she said her favorite was the cheesecake. Those flavors are to fancy for my taste. The craziest I get is chocolate, vanilla swirl.
I went in there with full intention of eating healthy. Well that went out the door when I saw all the candy bar toppings! Then the hot fudge, caramel, marshmallow, & peanut butter sauce.
The only negative thing I have to say about this place is the snickers was really, really old. The fruit was old & not that much there. And they were only like 2 little chunks of brownie. I know I went during winter, but at least keep the fruit fresh & filled.

I always stop here on my way home to Seattle for a snack, when I’ve been in Portland or Vancouver on business. And I’m never disappointed. It’s clean, the service is friendly, and they serve really good yogurt, comparable to the better fro-​yo places in the Seattle area. No complaints!

The first time I went here, my thoughts were: The yogurt is icy, not creamy and overpriced.
I would not have returned, but we had out of town guests that wanted to try it. So on a Saturday night after picking up a dvd from redbox, we headed here. We arrived 1 minute after 9, walked in, started perusing the flavors, only to be told by a staff member that came out from the back «sorry we’re closed» and she disappeared again.
Really? You couldn’t put in another 5 minutes of work for the evening? There were still people eating at the tables.
My guests were disappointed. Personally, I was glad not to give this place any more of my money. Went to Baskin Robbins instead.

Why this place is only at 3 stars (not that that is truly a bad thing… that’s still A-​OK) is beyond me. I guess I’m really wondering about the mixed reviews. I live in Southern California and we are inundated with places to eat… heck even dessert places so I’ve had many experiences and I can assure you Party Peeps… Yo Licious has it going on!
* Lots of different flavor options available… and they’ve always had great flavor options too making it somewhat difficult for me to choose… without having to call about financing or winning the lottery of course!
* Lots of different types of quality toppings. The options are nearly endless.
* The Staff here has always been incredibly nice.
* Despite the small amount of seating the place has always been kept immaculately clean… Seriously you could practically eat your Froyo off the floor!
* No hurry on the prepping of my cup… Good thing too because I choose carefully!
* So happy that this location is not only close to home, but never proves busy… now I’m sure there is a reason why that may be judging by most of their reviews, but that’s fine… I shall continue going and enjoying!
*Owned by The Pita Pit… so one can get a delicious meal and then nosh out on some delish Froyo.
* You can sit on either side… Pita Pit or Yo Licious. They have seating inside and out.
* There’s plenty of parking here.

This is on par with most of the frozen yogurt shops that are popping up like daisies across the area. They have a good variety of toppings and yogurts to mix and match at will.
There were no sample cups, so pour and hope for the best. The two flavors I tried came out watery and icy, not so much creamy. But like I said, that seems to be the norm for a lot of these shops.
It is small and there is limited seating. It is connected to the Pita Pit next door and there is some seating available on that side as well, if you find yourself stuck.

Has improved quite a bit since when it first opened. They now have sample cups you can grab and it is a lot cleaner. However, service not the best. Attendants always seem bored and are counting down the minutes till they close.

First the good: LOVE the yogurt choices & topping selection. The ladies that have helped me have been great and they are so patient with my kids when they want to test all the flavors!
The Bad: They seem to be short staffed and on more than one occasion the fruit toppings were empty or only had a couple left in it. It can get pricey but that really is in your control.
Overall this is one of our favorite places and will continue to take the family there =)

0 stars for both locations… BAD service, BAD yogurt, DIRTY environment… PLUS, You have to ask… No, BEG the cashier (If you can find one!!!) for a sample cup and then they give you one… FOR THREE PEOPLE!!! Do they expect you to just continue to re-​use the «community» sample cup?! Not only would that be messy it would be UNSANITARY… Back to the service… THE WORST I’VE EVER HAD… I got eye’s rolled at me, dirty looks, gasps and sighs and my personal favorite, «Ugh, I remember you from next door!» (As in: The pita pit next to them that was equally disgusting in service and environment.)
Pretty pathetic if you ask me… I wouldn’t come back even if they gave me my yogurt for free!!!
Nothing is worth being mistreated by employees that make you feel like a burden instead of the REASON they have a pay-​check!
Guess what employees, If it weren’t for customers, you’d be out a job… Seeing as to how your BAD BEHAVIOR and POOR WORK ETHIC hasn’t lost you your job already.

We love it! So many flavors and toppings to choose from and you can have as little or as much as you want. The staff is friendly and they’re open late.
It would be nice if they served beverages… at least water :-/

Good frozen yogurt.
Wish they had high chairs on Yo-​Licious side. The staff brough over one from Pita Pit next door, but we were just about done by the time we got it.

This is basically the same company as Yo Cream. I like the different varieties of frozen yogurt and the variety of toppings were ok. I wish the ambiance was a little nicer… very very plain and uninviting. They need more toppings too, as well as making it a bit more kid friendly. It is nice to have frozen yogert in the Hazel Dell area FINALLY! It did hit the spot to the very hot day!
