Stubbies Sports Bar & Grill

I will never step foot in this suckhole of a bar– again. I go into the bar and grille only to find out the only food is Mike sells potato chips (kitchen is permanently closed). The bartenders there seem very uneducated and like they would steal the money out of my pockets when I wasn’t looking– one bartender even tried persuading me to tip more based on «sexual» favors. Awkward. No.
Also the owner there is a mess. I heard she choked an employee and another one had to tackle her or something. There’s NEVER any liquor when I ask for it and the beer is warm as piss. Basically don’t waste your time. The only bartenders I actually enjoyed there were the tall pretty model girl with tattoos (Haley? or something) and the short Canadian girl with tattoos… Great welcoming personalities that make you want to stick around eat chips and piss in the dirtiest bathroom in Vandalia. Hopefully that over pouring bar gets closed down so there’s a new place built under better management. This is a good place to be but not right now… Very sad to see such a legendary place turn to dust.

Terrible food. I was desperate for food while watching a local band and ordered a pizza. I didn’t think it was possible for pizza to be bad. Boy was I wrong. It had too much sauce and not enough toppings and cheddar or was it American cheese on top. Yuck o. I will stick with beer only here. So disappointing.

Stopped in to try the NEW Menu and because of new ownership… I am pleasantly surprised to partake in the best fish n’ chips I’ve had in a while… look out dub pub!
