History

Established in 2003.

Love Authentic New England seafood. Then A Bit of Boston is the place to be. Come on in and see why customers travel all the way from Ft Myers just to have a bowl of our New England Clam Chowder. Real «Maine: Lobster rolls, Large Premium «Sea» Scallops, Crab Cakes made with mix we have shipped in from «Rhode Island». Even our Hot dogs are served on a fresh New England style roll. Have a craving for Whole Belly Clams, oh yes, they are from «Ipswich». We believe in fresh authentic food. Over the years we have had requests for other regional foods. So we have added a few like our Philly Cheese-steak. Anyone that knows anything about a real Philly Cheese-steak knows it must be served on an Amoroso roll. That’s right we have Fresh Amoroso Bakery rolls shipped in. Last but not least we serve a good old NY style Fish Fry… Stop by .give us a try. we promise.you will be a regular…

Meet the Business Owner

Ed F.

Business Owner

On most days Ed can be found on the line in his restaurant greeting guests as they come and go in his busy restaurant. Although he has a well trained cooking staff he prefers to be in the thick of it. A guarantee everything hits the table just the way he likes it. Coming from a family of restaurateurs growing up at the family restaurant Ed is right at home here. He took a brief 12 years off from the restaurant business to work in the corporate world. District manager for the state of Florida for an international company. However, it just did not measure up to preparing good food for family and friends. It is so true when they say. You can take the man out of the restaurant but you can not take good food, family & friends out of the man. So back to the kitchen Ed goes. Surrounded by his own family working right beside him. The most important thing to him is his family and much extended family, as all his regular’s have become a treasured part of.
