Brian Averill Photography

I cannot say enough about Brian… once again, he highly exceeded our expectations. I book and out source photographers for many high end corporate accounts and ad campaigns. I am usually inclined to keep certain talented gems for myself (hence not post reviews) but my heart strings pulled at me with this one… because Brian is not only a seasoned pro, but he is just really amazing to work with and always shows up with a smile. He deserves every last bit of credit he gets.
I found Brian through a mutual friend who had worked with him and one of their big client’s.
In my field, I am always taking a risk hiring the talent. At the end of the day, everything that goes into a shoot falls on me… whether it be logistics, budget, talent, you name it… if the ball is ever dropped, I am the one who gets the phone call. It is crucial that every piece of the puzzle fits and that every moving part just does their job. With all of these moving parts, it can be a very stressful environment… I never once had to worry about Brian’s professionalism, attitude or results. I have now hired Brian five individual times… twice with a repeat client and three times with new clients. Time and time again he is consistent, fun to be around and delivers beautiful work. He is extremely tasteful and has a very sensitive eye for what is appropriate. Usually before we go through the proofs together he has already made his personal selections which leaves me with less then half the work I would normally have to do… his selections are always stellar.
The fact is, in every new situation, you never know what you are going to get. With Brian, I am completely confident that I am always going to get the best of the best. Not only is he great to work with, but he puts the subject at ease. I almost wish I could keep Brian for our company only! Perhaps a family photo session is next :) Bravo.

Brian is fantastic! He did a family shoot of me and my three kids (ages 5, 3, 1). He was so personable with them! My oldest asked him to stay for dinner. lol! He is very easy to talk to and work with. In addition to his friendly and warm manner, his work is amazing. Honestly, I was expecting maybe one or two okay shots considering it’s very difficult for my little ones to sit together let alone smile and laugh at the same time. However, Brian was so patient and willing to try anything to get them to cooperate. (He even started kicking a soccer ball around with them!) It was a complete success! We had so many beautiful pictures that we couldn’t decide which ones to pick for our holiday cards this year. I am very happy to have found the photographer we will use to capture all our family memories!

Brian shot my jewelry line for me. He did some straightforward product shots and some shots with my pieces on models. He was really great with directing the models in a short period of time and the photos all came out so well. I have other images but his shots are the ones I use for my portfolio website, my business cards and promotional materials. I plan to have him shoot for me with each new line. He’s great, and easy to work with.

Hired Brian to take a family portrait when my folks were out here a few weeks back and I couldn’t be more happy with his work. He made everyone from kids to grandparents very relaxed and he really captured some amazing images that will remain with us for a long time. I couldn’t recommend this quality photographer any more highly!
