Cramer Honda of Venice

Here’s the problem: because of some medical issues I need a vehicle that has room to haul some of my medical needs (transport wheelchair and scooter) plus dog, plus cat with its litter box, and at least two small suitcases. Currently I drive a quite comfortable Cadillac SRX but sometimes needs trump everything. So we showed up to meet Wayne and first see if I could get into the car. Getting in is important. Couldn’t get into the driver seat of an Audi Q7 nor the Chrysler Town and Country. I could get into the Volvo XC90 and it is still in the running. However, the Odyssey is great. I could get in and the roominess inside was spectacular and my wife found she had no trouble removing and replacing a second row passenger seat. So I drove off in an Odyssey, right. Well no. I was somewhat disappointed by the trim. This was the top of the line model but it gave off the impression that Honda was thinking, who is going to ride around in the car: some woman and a bunch of kids so who cares how it looks. Well, Honda might want to rethink that and take some senior demographics into account. I don’t expect a Honda to look like my Cadillac but a few refinements would be nice. Drop the plastic that is everywhere and try some faux wood. More important, think where those senior behinds are going to plant themselves for that long trip to go and see the grandchildren, Well, I am going to wait to see what the 2016 model will look like as I have read it is getting a makeover. But I was treated very well by Wayne and the office manager and I am hoping we will be able to do a deal this fall even though that Volvo XC90 is really comfortable. It has roominess but not nearly as much as the Odyssey. My recommendation is if you are looking for a pretty good car buying experience where people actually listen to you and want to meet your needs; and most important, they just don’t PUSH you to buy because they have a car to sell – then check out Cramer Honda. And ask for Wayne.

The absolute best car buying experience I ever had. Period! Wayne Young was extremely professional and helpful in securing the deal I wanted on my new Honda. I had a trade-​in as well and thought I’d really loose a ton of equity but I was surprised with a fair value AND a monster discount on the new Honda. Had me in and out in no time. Listen, even the manager, Chris, came over to thank me for my business and the overall experience was very impressive. Don’t waste your time looking for the best price or the best customer service. You can have your cake and eat it too at Cramer Honda. Great people!!!

I bought a certified Honda Civic there two weeks ago and recently had a small issue with the A/​C. He took the car in, fixed the problem, and also had some small, cosmetic blemishes removed in no time (for no charge).

I had written on Unilocal about my service concerns. The general Manger responded quickly. Said he would check into it. Would have service manger respond. Played phone tag with service manager for a few days then never heard from him again. I guess his concern wasn’t as important as my concern.

Took my Honda in for a recall repair (²⁄₂₀₁₃) — Although I have a dealership much closer to home, this one had great on-​line reviews while the other did not.
Overall, A ++++ service (from technicians and other staff) Have been here a few times and each time, would say it’s 5 STARS all around. My car is a bit older and they were helpful about making recommendations for maintenance. Most appreciated —
Absolutely worth the 40 minute ride (one way) to get there.
