History

Established in 2007.

Melinda has been in love with travel and the service industry for as long as she could remember. Growing up she would cherish the times her family would go on vacation hardly being able to wait until the next trip. As she grew up she had a desire to help people with their vacations and began working for a travel company in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She specialized herself in travel to Walt Disney World as she saw it as the most magical place on earth. Her clients would tell her that they wished they could pack her up in their suitcase and take them with her because of her love for anything Disney and her knowledge of the parks she loved.

In her late 20’s she met a man who became her future husband, Chris. Chris was a small contractor in Arkansas when they married whose business grew rapidly over the first couple years of their marriage. My first trip to Disney World was in my mother’s womb which pretty much means that Disney has always been in my blood. I made many trips there growing up with my family and made so many cherished memories that I still have today from those trips.

I became a travel agent in Michigan specializing in Disney vacations so that I could help families create those same childhood memories that I had. I had many families ask to «pack me up» and take me with them. That was where the seed was planted for Create A Dream so many years ago. I finally had the opportunity to move to Florida with my husband and son, now we have 2 more handsome boys, and am finally making my lifelong dream a reality.

I have the best job in the world and I get to personally witness and help many families create those magical moments together. I am a big kid at heart and even though this company is growing I still enjoy doing the tours and having so much fun with each family I feel as though each tour I do is alwa
