He can also help you make your landscape more sustainable by recommending and designing plans for improving drainage or infiltration of runoff, evaluating existing irrigation or providing plans for a new irrigation design that can help conserve water, efficient energy conserving low voltage lighting design, and advise you in choosing the best pervious pavements for your walkways, patios or driveways.

Mark Lerch, ISA Certified Arborist and Registered Landscape Architect, State of Florida
Mark grew up in the suburbs outside of Hartford Connecticut, home of Landscape Architect, Frederick Law Olmsted. In 2003, Mark graduated UMASS, Amherst with a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture and shortly after that, moved to Venice, Florida where he began working in Sarasota as a Landscape Architect. Over the last 8 years he has completed many site designs and worked with other design professionals, bringing a strong background in construction and ecology to create functional and environmentally compatible designs. While employed as a Planner II with Charlotte County for the previous 3 years Mark acquired knowledge that allowed him to become an International Society of Arboriculture, Certified Arborist; a Florida Registered Landscape Architect, and a Florida Freshwater Wetlands Master Naturalist.
