A Venice resident for almost 20 years, Tami Pardee’s expertise in the area is unrivaled. The owner and principal broker of Pardee Properties, Tami is currently ranked as the #1 broker in Los Angeles. To date, she has sold over $ 2 billion worth of residential and commercial properties. Tami received her undergraduate degree from Boston University and her MBA from Loyola Marymount University. Pardee Properties was absolutely awesome to work with! We’ve seen their signs, brochures, postcards frequently and decided to give them a call when we were ready to sell our condo. Penny Muck and Maria Hattori went above and beyond to make a challenging selling process as seamless and painless as possible. I’ve never heard of any listing agents that would give a fresh coat of paint and fix broken tiles for free, and then provide a valet service on open house days to help stage and setup your home to sell. In addition to their mass marketing campaigns to promote our listing, they negotiated well for us and even in a slightly down cycle in the market, were able to get us a good price. On top of that, we were fighting 2 concurrent deadlines as we had to close escrow on this condo, while trying to buy a new home and close on that too. Since we had such a great experience with Penny as our listing agent, we decided to use Pardee to buy also. Will Passavia helped us to make competitive bids and negotiated to put us in a position to get deals accepted. Despite various issues that came up during both escrow processes, the team of Penny/​Maria/​Will helped us literally every step of the way with constant communication, problem solving, and expediency. They got us to the finish line with time to spare and handled so much of the headaches for us. I truly mean it when I say that Pardee Properties goes above and beyond for you. They’re not just all salesmanship, as they follow through with their committments to making a painful process easy. Even after all they did to help us, Pardee gave us generous gifts to celebrate the sale and purchase of our homes. Pardee Properties is the best real estate broker we’ve ever worked with, and we would not hesitate to go with them again!

My experience with Pardee Properties in selling could not have been any better. Kerry Ann and all her staff far exceeded my expectations. As a recent father and extremely busy firefighter I needed all he help I could get. Everything went so smooth and they were so easy and pleasurable to work with. I had excellent experiences with 2 agents that have since left Pardee. The last agent left the day our house hit the market, so we were handed to another Pardee agent we did not know. We were not thrilled with this, but had little option at that point.
This experience with Pardee selling an investment property, resulted in us firing them. The feedback about the house by their own admission was excellent, but they could not sell our home.
The home was not in their own backyard, and they were immediately out of their depth with knowing the area, in Del Rey and how to price the property, which became clear when we discussed what to list at. They agreed to bring the price down from their original recommended list price of $ 1.269M to $ 1.245M at our request. It was still way overpriced for the area. The buyers came and went falling in and out of escrow.
I asked the agent if we could talk with Tami Pardee, as her name was on the listing. As the lead agent and owner of the company representing our sale (who we had still not had any contact with us after some months) we felt she could right the ship with a better strategy around pricing. Days went by and when I asked if we were going to speak to her, we got a non-​direct deflective response .
It left the impression that either Tami doesn’t care, was too busy, or expects her agents to get the job done without any hand holding. This is fine when houses a re flying off the shelf, not when you have a struggling agent and unhappy clients. It wasn’t our first rodeo. We have bought, renovated and sold 8 properties. It was the last straw for us, so we cancelled the contract and went with a local agent. Tami never called to ask why, which was also interesting, and leaves us to guess why.
Pardee came across as a little arrogant and naïve once outside their bubble. I was unimpressed with their lack of professionalism and effort to represent us. Pardew are mostly likely fine if you have a property in their preferred area, where the locations sells the houses.
I would like to add the inside staff were excellent.
We would definitely not recommend Pardee, no matter where you are looking to buy or sell.

After thirty years in Mar Vista, my wife and I decided to «scale down» by selling our wonderful, old, Craftsman house on Grand View. Reluctantly at first, we interviewed agents in a search to find the team that understood its special qualities, and who we felt understood the emotional connection we had to the place. When we met Kerry Ann, and Tami Pardee, we were sold, and we have not been disappointed on any front since that day.
They are enthusiastic, honest, bright, cheerful, knowledgeable, and fun. Not only did they treat the house like a precious gem, but they also gave us guidance and the strength to sever our ties to the four walls with grace and dignity. I cannot say enough for Pardee. If you are selling, or buying, or renting, please take my advice and call them first.

I met Tami about 7 years ago at an open house in Venice. We tried to work a deal about 5 years ago that did not work out. Tami always kept in touch with me and my husband (we live in Orange County). Fast forward to 2015, we wanted to sell our house in Venice. We didn’t even think twice about using Tami and her team. She met us at the house, and introduced us to one of her agents; Justin. They presented a very thorough analysis of the Venice/​Santa Monica marketplace complete with comps/​media plans/​internet activity etc. She suggested a strategy for our property that would most likely get us the highest amount for our property… and guess what? She was right on…
Tami/​Justin/​John were diligent in their processes. I have never seen a real estate team so organized and on top of it than this team. I seriously cannot say enough!!! We had some issues with our tenant; Tami and Justin took care of EVERYTHING.

Our family worked with Katie (and Courtney) to buy our first home. They were great from start to finish, despite several bidding wars and an unpredictable and extended closing.
We were open to anything on the west side, and were flexible on price and housing style, too – and yet we were opinionated and had specific likes and dislikes. Plus, had never done this before, so probably not the easiest clients. But Katie helped us through the process step by step. She advised us through a series of bidding wars. We won the last one and started a long journey to the finish.
At this point, the value of a dedicated and tenacious agent became clear. Katie helped us through inspections, and negotiations with the seller. Closing was a nightmare (no fault of Katie’s) and required quick thinking and a calm mind. We would’ve been lost (and lost the house) without Katie working very hard on our behalf for weeks and weeks.
She was fun and cool throughout, and showed up big when it counted. Clout of Pardee on west side worth a lot too. Thanks, Katie, Courtney and team Pardee!

We had a great selling experience with Pardee Properties for the sale of two homes in Venice. Tami has hired an excellent team around her, lead by Kerry Ann and Lou. Kerry Ann was our agent and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was fun and good spirited, but always professional and responsive to our requests. The entire team is very knowledgeable about the area and the process, especially since they do so much business in Venice and the Westside.

Before I chose Pardee, I emailed another agency but got the vague sense that I was being given the runaround so I went with Pardee. Tami responded promptly to my email queries and, from the moment my husband and I met her and Justin, we knew we were in the right hands.
Tami made suggestions on how to spruce up our home and Justin promptly sent us a timeline so that we could prepare well in advance. We were introduced to their handyman and painter and Pardee even offered to help defray the cost of painting the exterior trim of the house. Ever so thoughtful!
Once they opened up our house to the public, we were amazed by their attention to detail. The photos came out fantastic and Pardee even offered free valet parking so that no one would have difficulty viewing our home.
We had several promising offers in a little over a month and an accepted offer above asking!
During escrow, Pardee continued to email us weekly progress reports and reminders on what we would need to sign and return. Some hiccups came up during the inspection but Justin and his assistant, John, deftly contacted their plumber to come over and fix the problem before we even knew anything had happened.
Until the day of closing, Justin and John kept us in the loop and even sent a thoughtful reminder to stop service on utilities. My husband and I have bought and sold properties before but we have never been treated with such care and such attention to detail as we did with Pardee. We feel so blessed to have discovered them and won’t be using any other agency but Pardee for all our future transactions. Thank you, Pardee peeps!

Rachael Petersen and the staff at Pardee Properties were amazing. Rachael proved very knowledgeable about the West LA, Santa Monica, Venice, and Marina del Rey markets. As first time home buyers we had many, many questions and she impressed us with her ability to field all of them with clear answers in plain English and solid explanation of her reasoning. No hand-​wavy vague answers.
She is very knowledgeable about the various property types and impressed us early on with solid insight into the workings of condo developments and very detail-​oriented. In once instance, she fixed several errors in a haphazardly written purchase agreement — which a development company insisted on using.
I strongly recommend Rachael for anyone looking for a new home on the west side, and particularly anyone new to the process.

We had a challenge for them to sell in 14 days so we could leverage the proceeds for another purchase. They delivered a sales price 16% above market average, executed under our tight deadline, were always present when our home was shown, and negotiated a 10-​day lease back for a $ 1 to make it effortless to move into our new dream home only .5 miles away. She quickly became a trusted adviser of ours. She demonstrated exceptional professionalism, provided great energy and a positive attitude, and always looked out for our best interest — all this while managing our expectations through a challenging Westside real estate environment.

Now just a bit more details about our story and journey. Purchasing a home on the Westside of Angeles is a daunting process. Add to that, planning for a wedding that is set to occur within the next six months. That was our challenge.
Our desired timeline of closing and moving in before our wedding was starting to diminish. In fact, our closing day on our home was 8 days before our wedding. Rachael helped us navigate through a tricky negotiation process with a selling agent that had no interest in collaborating with our issues.
Long story short, we had essentially two days to move in after a lease-​back provision we agreed at the time of our offer. Rachael was able to set us with movers (and a cleaner) on short notice to ensure that we wouldn’t need to worry about packing and moving the week of our wedding.
The extra touches of setting us up with movers and providing a thoughtful moving-​in gift, wedding gift, and closing gift were the extra touches on an already great experience.

First of all, 95% of what you stated had nothing to do with this issue. A few quotes from a hand full of happy people doesn’t imply the people you serve are generally happy.
Second, it sounds like you’re saying your client told you all to risk the only offer she had in months on a property that had a serious deed restriction over a one week extension… okay sure, I really believe that too.
Third, you should address the part about why Pardee didn’t disclose the serious deed restriction on their advertisement for the property.

Their knowledge, expertise and real estate skills are unsurpassed. I will always depend on Pardee for any real estate transaction I am involved in.
I was in contract on a purchase property with all contingencies removed when an «off market deal» for the home I was selling (a previous agent brought to the table) fell apart in the 11th hour. I was hard pressed to sell my home.
The «agent» who put the «off market deal together» was so inept she put me in a situation that almost cost me the home of my dreams and the good faith deposit I made for the home. A true nightmare and sharp contrast to Tami Pardee and Justin Alexander.
Tami and Justin welcomed the challenge of having 2 days to sell my home.
Tami and Justin had my best interest in mind first and foremost. I was 100% supported and guided through the process. Their attention to detail in drafting the terms of the deal were impeccable. Often times buyers and sellers focus on the price but i learned equally important are the terms contained within. Justin was absolutely wonderful in working with me every step of the way to insure I was informed and satisfied at every turn. He went above and beyond in many ways some of which included meeting me at inopportune times (10PM), responding to me even though it fell in the middle of him being out to dinner and he took extra special care of my 2 dogs to make sure they were not stressed when he brought potential buyers in. He even took a snapshot of them and texted it to me to show me they were ok.
and the cherry on top… they sold it for well over asking with the accepted offer coming in the day it was listed. It doesn’t get better than Pardee! A class act!

Let me start off by saying, I LOVE my new home. Couldn’t have dreamed of a better place. Not only did Pardee get me my dream home, but they also got me a brand new Linus bike with a Pardee On sticker on the side when we closed. It was my first house warming present and sometimes, the little things can make a big move so much warmer.
I met Sabine through a mutual friend and I started telling her about how I had been having trouble finding a home (after losing a house that I put in an offer for). She told me, (and I kid you not) «I’ve been known to match people with their house on the first try.» She got me an appointment the next day to see the property and it was like coming home.
We put in an offer the next week and in less than 10 days after she showed it to me, we closed on the property. There were 5 other offers with mine, but because of her relationships at Pardee, she was able to make sure I got the house. She was great and worked Ninja fast and I was able to move in the week before the Holidays, which was so nice to get to nest during.
Sabine is a tough cookie with a big heart and she just gets people. She will fight for you when you’ve found «the one,» and it’s rare that you can feel so taken care in such a stressful situation like moving. I refer my friends to Pardee because of how easy they made the experience, so you best believe I will Pardee On indefinitely.
